Very cleverly, using their knowledge of the giants’ dwelling areas, they forced the giants to migrate south through raids. Originally seeking support from Holy Pate, the giants were repeatedly attacked by cavalry from Pate on their way south, and this situation led them to capture Moon Harbor City."

"So, Pate attacked before the giants even arrived," Lynch said, "which is unlikely, isn’t it?"

"Indeed, it’s impossible," Wislin replied. "To this day, we don’t know where those knights came from. However, they certainly weren’t soldiers of Holy Pate. The giants were deceived, and thus we got drawn into this war."

Lynch fell into contemplation. During the battle, he was on-site and was very familiar with Moon Harbor City’s defenses. Truth be told, apart from an overwhelming force like the giants, Moon Harbor City should have been able to withstand attacks from any other northern races. So it seems, letting the giants and Holy Pate mutually exhaust each other and open the passage of Moon Harbor City made the Beastmen the biggest beneficiaries. If their brains were that good, they would have dominated the entire Anriel World by now.

"What measures do you have now?" Lynch asked.

"Seeking allies everywhere," Wislin laughed. "Don’t worry, Holy Pate has long been stopping the advance of Beastmen into other nations in the north, and we have many friends. Currently, the nearest dwarves have agreed to attack the Beastmen from the eastern Gunn Mountains, and southern lords will support us by sea routes from the inner sea. The alliance with Haisas has a long history, so there won’t be any issues there. Those Beastmen should be cleaned up by next year."

Morgan said, "Exactly, exactly! Those disgusting Beastmen aren’t getting away this time! With the recapture of Moon Harbor City, their retreat is cut off. Now, I can thoroughly enjoy myself, making those Beastmen cry and soil themselves."
