(Hey you know your sword is powerful right, don’t kill the princess by mistake)

’I’m not dumb enough to do that’ Ethan muttered as he stopped when Isabella raised her sword.

’I want to test something, after she strikes then the shockwave comes, what if she doesn’t strike my sword, or the shockwave doesn’t reach me’ Ethan smirked as Isabella ran towards him.

[Simple barrier, Advanced Barrier]

Ethan stood his ground and simply cast both of his barriers and waited in front of it and when Isabella swung her sword, Ethan raised his sword to block it but her sword struck his simple barrier and broke it then the shockwave broke through his advanced barrier and both of their sword clashed.

*CLANG!!*

Isabella was shocked as Ethan had a smile on his face as he pushed her backward and she stumbled back and fell to the ground breathing heavily.

The sword simply turned back into water and Isabella let out a sigh of relief and a smile appeared on her face, even though she lost she was happy.

"Yes, I was finally able to use it twice" Isabella shouted.

"It’s really powerful no doubt" Ethan muttered as he stretched a hand toward her and picked her up.

"Before I could only create the sword, my Mana would already be depleted before I would use it turning the sword back into water, but I used it twice," Isabella said with a smile.

"I didn’t know you were that good a fighter, you know I tried using swords as I was told it would complement my ability, but I suck at it, I wish I was this good" Hannah muttered as she appeared close to them.

"You are a liar, you told me you don’t have barrier magic, I knew you had barrier magic, that was barrier magic right?" Crystal asked as she raced down.

"It’s not barrier..." Ethan stopped and bowed his head towards Crystal and the rest of them were surprised and turned towards her and also bowed their head till Crystal turned around and saw Freya’s sister behind her.

She quickly bowed her head as Freya’s sister walked past her, "Raise your head, you there, let me see your sword"

"My sword..." Ethan asked before handing it over to her and she inspected the sword.

’Does she know the sword?’ Ethan asked.

(I doubt it, maybe she can sense its power but she doesn’t know)

"It’s a nice sword, it looks beat up but it’s nice, and it’s nice to see students who are eager to learn, should I help?" She asked and they all replied yes.

"First, you are a mage, why do you need a sword, aren’t you confident in your magical prowess?" She turned towards Ethan as she handed the sword back.

"My Mana isn’t enough for prolonged battles, and I’ve fought beasts before the academy, so I worked on my swordsmanship" Ethan muttered.

"Okay, and you princess, why are you happy you can strike twice with your sword, with the amount of Mana you have you are supposed to be able to use the sword to fight a battle, even a war, do you know what you are doing wrong" she spoke.

"I can’t control my Mana and end up using too much" Isabella muttered.

"Good, that’s the first step towards improvement, knowing you are wrong, effective and efficient use of Mana isn’t something you learn in a day"

"But I can give you a trick, and this applies to all of you, at night before you sleep, cover your entire body with Mana and maintain it for an hour, do that for a whole month and when it’s time for basic Mana training, you’ll be a month ahead of everyone else"

"And try not to depend on your sword, and for both of you, I want both of you to duel and don’t use your sword" she spoke turning towards Ethan.

’Why is it always me’ Ethan muttered as he stood in front of Crystal who was grinning from ear to ear.

Crystal wanted a rematch and this was the big rematch she was waiting for, Ethan already had a handicap which was his sword and Freya’s sister was watching them closely so he had to do well.

"I’ll stop it if it gets too dangerous, so knock yourself out, are you ready?" She asked.

"Yes," both of them replied.

"Start"

Ethan took a deep breath as he watched Crystal’s movement, since he couldn’t use his sword Ethan just had to try his best and he knew his best wouldn’t be enough to beat Crystal.

"Aren’t you attacking, I guess your sword is your only...mud wall" Crystal shouted as a wall made out of earth formed in front of her.

Three wind blades struck her wall and vanished as they couldn’t break through, when Crystal was talking Ethan already cast his aero blades but she blocked it with her mud wall.

The wall fell and once again Crystal was covered completely by stone as she did when she and Ethan were fighting during the test.

’Shit that again, and this time I can’t run’ Ethan stretched his hands towards her.

(Instead of shooting a spell, infuse your fist with Mana and strike, I’m sure it’s more powerful than shooting spells right now)

’Infuse Mana, if I do that I’ll just go out of control and I’ll end up wasting all my Mana and forfeiting the fight’

(That’s better than her kicking your ass, when you are supposed to be banging her ass)

’I’m in danger and you still thinking about sex, here she comes, advance barrier’ Ethan cast a barrier in front of himself, put one of his legs forward, and took a deep breath.

Crystal had fought him and she knew none of his spells were capable of blowing her away so she charged forward as she was protected and since Ethan was standing still she threw a punch which landed on his barrier.

Crystal moved backwards and swung her fist covered in stone again and this time a cracking sound was heard.
