The door opened and Hannah walked in, the first place she looked was Ethan’s bed and he was staring at her.

"You’re awake, how’s your body?" She quickly asked.

"I’m fine, I just didn’t get enough sleep and I was tired, it’s nothing to be worried about" Ethan muttered.

"Okay, I was really worried, you should rest till tomorrow, have you eaten, should I get you food" Hannah asked.

"No I’ve eaten, but there’s something I want you to do for me"

"Anything"

"Can you open a portal to the forest, I want to hunt beasts" Ethan muttered.

"Hunt...you collapsed this morning, you can’t hunt in your condition" Hannah spoke.

"I’m fine," Ethan said as he jumped down from his bed waking Isabella up from her sleep as she turned towards them.

"I’m not going to open a portal in the forest, first they are really dangerous creatures in the forest, second I can open a portal to the forest without getting caught, but if I open a portal back, I’ll be caught immediately, you can’t sneak into the city" Hannah spoke.

"She’s right," Isabella said from her bed, "There’s a barrier surrounding the city, and once someone gets in through a portal without authorization, the person would be caught and imprisoned for some days, if not months, and as a student, you’ll be punished"

"Lots of rules, I just need somewhere to test my skills" Ethan muttered.

"That’s right, we never finished our match, we were stopped, let’s go to the large training and continue, I also want to test the new ice sword I’m working on, and since you use a sword, it’ll be perfect" Isabella muttered.

"That’s true, and last time you had all the advantage, let’s see how you’ll do against me" Ethan muttered and Isabella quickly jumped out of bed.

Hannah followed them since she hadn’t actually seen Ethan fighting, she wanted to see him and on their way, they came across Crystal who was going back to the dorm, and since all her roommates were here, she joined them.

Only the four of them were in the large training so they took the far corner of the training ground. Crystal and Hannah sat on the chairs as they watched both of them.

Ethan knew he had to be careful using his sword since a single slash could literally split Isabella into two so he was going to be on the defensive while she tested her new sword.

Isabella took a deep breath and created a large amount of water, Ethan and the other two girls were shocked and she compressed the water till it formed a single ice sword which she held with both of her hands.

It wasn’t a great sword but she had to hold it with both of her hands, Ethan knew as he saw the sword, it didn’t look heavy or anything, it looked even lighter than her former swords and the sword was transparent like glass.

"Ready?" Isabella asked.

"Ready" Ethan muttered and she dashed forward.

Ethan could tell she was faster than when they fought the wolf as she closed the distance between them and struck but he could still keep up as he raised his sword to defend.

*BOOM*

Ethan was sent flying as both of their swords collided, Isabella was on the offensive and as she struck the shockwave of her attack pushed him backward.

Ethan fell to the ground, he quickly stood up after regaining his balance and was surprised, what kind of attack was that he wondered as he looked at Isabella was who panting even more than him.

It was obviously taking its toll on her but she raised the sword again, "Why aren’t you attacking, don’t tell me you are holding back" Isabella spoke.

"Your attack was really powerful, if you were me would you charge in" Ethan shouted back.

"Fair point" Isabella spoke, "This is going to be the last, at least I can strike twice, I need to improve my Mana control, my Mana is enough but I can’t control it and use it efficiently that’s why I’m getting tired after one strike" Isabella raised her head and saw Ethan dashing towards her.
