Loving The Temperamental Adonis
Chapter 108: "Stay still, little one."

Chapter 108: "Stay still, little one."

"I never asked you to leave. Stay with me for a little while," he breathed softly.

Mia’s heart skipped a beat at his whispered words behind her ears. Though she was angry at him for causing her to make a fool of herself today in his house, she couldn’t find it in her heart to jerk her wrist away from his hold and leave the house. She didn’t know what his relationship with that woman was and if they were really engaged or not, but she found herself standing still in place with him hovering closer behind her.

She felt his strong arm encircle her waist from behind and he hugged her to his hard body. Her breath cut short in her lungs when she felt her rear end pressed tight to his hardened thighs. Mia didn’t know what to do as he leaned his chin on her shoulder while still hugging her.

"I like your dress, querida. Did you wear this for me?" He whispered huskily in her ears, with his fingers making lazy, erotic circles against her tummy making her toes curl up and her face warm up in delight. And she found herself relaxing into his hold instead of pushing away like a sane person with brains was supposed to do and tell him she would be leaving. But no, she was always weak when it came to this man who she knew nothing about.

"You...you like the dress? It’s not my favorite." She muttered breathlessly as his hand around her and his chin on her shoulder were distracting her. She didn’t even know what to do or say. And when she heard his deep smooth chuckle, and the rumbling sounds that emitted from his chest, her heart beat quickened.

"Then why did you wear it if it’s not your favorite?" He asked softly as he moved away and turned her around to face him properly. And when his eyes fell on her reddened cheek, a murderous glint flashed in his silver eyes and his expression hardened into stone cold ice, causing Mia, who noticed it to shiver in fear at the look in his eyes.

As if just realizing the fact that she was alone in this huge mansion with a man she barely even knew, she moved away from him and tried to look everywhere but his face while saying, "I...I have to leave. It’s late." She clutched her bag and turned to leave, however he grabbed her hand and pulled her back towards him again.

"Didn’t you hear what I said earlier? I never asked you to leave. Stay for awhile." He said with a deep displeased frown.

"But I don’t want to stay. You are engaged to someone else and yet you make it seem as if you like me. You confuse me more than the unpredictable weather in Zen!" She said, furious with how easily he could make her turn jelly soft in his arms and make her forget her place.

Mia didn’t know why her mother had warned her to stay away from him but now she was starting to wonder why she couldn’t just listen to her mother and stay away from him? Thinking of her mother, she looked up at him and said with a firm calm voice, "Let go of my arm, I need to go." She said while trying to move away from him but his hold around her arm was strong and he only pulled her close to him and wrapped an arm around her. But she looked up and glared angrily at him.

Neil was completely caught off guard by her boldness. But instead of him getting annoyed that she was using such firm tone on him and glaring, he felt the opposite reaction that stunned him. Every feminine tactics in existence had been used on him by several women to seduce him but without success, unless he wanted to be seduced. However, Mia’s boldness, combined with her beautiful, upturned face and the sensation of her alluring body pressing against him, acted on him like a powerful aphrodisiac.

Desire surged through him, heating his blood, sending it singing through his veins, forcing his hands to pull her even closer.

Mia saw something primitive and terrifying flare in his silver eyes as his hands tightened around her. She jerked back, a scream of protest rising in her throat, but his lips covered hers, stifling her voice with a demanding insistence that stunned her into immobility. Like an alarmed rabbit captured in a painless trap, she struggled against his hold until she felt his hands soothingly caressing her back and shoulders, while his lips skillfully moved on hers, intensifying her arousal, and numbing her protest and her desire to get away from him and go back home to begin packing her clothes like her mother had instructed.

Feeling lightheaded and disoriented, Mia slid her hands up Neil’s chest, desperately trying to find stability in the very person who was causing her to lose her balance.

A low groan tore from Neil’s chest, and he deepened the kiss smothering her mouth with his. Devouring her lips with the insatiable hunger that had been torturing him for weeks, he crushed her soft, yielding form against his own rigid, deprived figure. He kissed her fiercely, tempestuously, tenderly, and still he could not get enough of her.

Finally, he reluctantly withdrew his mouth from hers, suppressing the overpowering urges of his body, and embraced her tightly, with her head pressed against his racing heartbeat.

Neil knew he should be sending the girl back and away from him after his uncle’s warning, but he couldn’t for some reason. One thing was for certain, even if Mia Harrison hadn’t been his childhood sweetheart, he would still be drawn to her. Even though he was at the point in life where his career as a soldier was hanging on a thin thread, he wanted to forget about that for a moment.

He gently pushed her away from his chest so he could see her face, but he regretted doing so immediately he saw her flushed face and swollen tempting lips. Her brown eyes sparkled with innocence, and Neil suddenly had a strong urge to protect that, but at the same time he wanted to be the one to taint it.

"Look at me, little one." He whispered thickly when she shyly tried to avoid his gaze by looking away. And when she looked up at him, he leaned down and captured her swollen lips for another kiss. But this time, the kiss was slow and gently.

Mia used her hand to clutch at the front of his shirt, crinkling it. He slowly began to deepen the kiss with his knee pressing between her legs lightly, and coaxingly. His subtle action drove her senses to the edge, causing a muffled moan to escape her mouth. Not knowing what to do, she clung to him desperately.

"You are so damn beautiful," he whispered against her lips, every word of his bouncing on her lips, and making her desperate for more of him.

Mia was so lost in his kiss that she didn’t realize he had taken off the jacket she’d worn over her dress until she felt his wet, warm lips trail down to her neck and slowly trailed down to the swell of her breasts that were revealed due to the dress’s lower neckline.

She quickly tried to break free from the kiss, but he warned huskily, "Stay still, little one."

She stood still as he warned and didn’t try to move even when he leaned down towards the swell of her bosom. She felt his wet lips kiss the top of her breast, nibbling and sucking it like the most delicious thing in the world. A moan escaped her lips and she raised her hands and grabbed his shoulders for support. When she felt him suck at her skin and nibble it again, she drew in a sharp breath and her nails dug into his shoulders.

What he was doing to her made her breath turn laboured, blood rushing up to her neck and rushed down to settle between her legs, where she tried to press together but his knee kept her from doing so. With what was happening between them, Mia didn’t realize that her phone which she had put in silence was now ringing repeatedly inside the bag she had tossed to the ground.

Neil, on the other hand was so immersed in what he was doing to the girl in his arms. He didn’t need to push the dress away from her chest, because he had access to her bosom due to her dress’s low neckline. He raised his hand and cupped one of her breasts while he nibbled on the other one with his mouth. Because she wasn’t wearing a bra, he grabbed her hardened nipple through the dress fabric and sucked on it, causing another moan to slip from her beautiful lips.

"L-Leo..." She called him by his disguise name while digging her fingers into his hair and gently trying to pull him away from her bosom. He wanted to tell her to call him by his real name, but he dared not expose himself.

"Hmm," he hummed against her skin without moving away but when he felt her tug tighter on his hair, he reluctantly pulled away from her bosom where the fabric around her breast looked wet with her nipples standing at an attention from his handy work.

Even though his head had moved away from it, his hand went up to settle against her hardened nipple that were bulging against the fabric of her dress, feeling it against his fingers. He then used his other hand to pull her towards him. Leaning down towards her ear, he said, "You have no idea how much you are torturing me right now, little one."

His voice sounded slightly raspy, and his words fell on the shell of her ear, making her knees go jelly. If it weren’t for the fact that she was leaning against the wall and he was holding her, she would have lost her balance.

"I...I didn’t do anything to torture you..." She whispered shyly.

"You never know." He replied huskily while carressing her back, "Can you promise me something, querida?" He asked softly. Mia couldn’t see his expression, but she nodded her head.

"Promise me you will never come to hate me when you hear some news about me in two days."

Mia’s eyebrows furrowed, and she felt him tighten his hold around her when she tried to push away to gauge his expression. "What news? And why would I hate you?" She asked in confusion, his words not making any sense to her.

"It’s something I can not tell you now, but you will come to hear of it in the news sooner or later." He said in a calm serious voice. He had gone against his uncle by breaking things off with Davina, and he knew General David wasn’t joking when he gave out his warning today. He then added, "I don’t think I will take it well if you come to hate me like I know most people in the country will do. I will feel betrayed, and when I feel that emotion, I won’t hesitate to kill, Harrison. I can be dangerous when angered."

Mia suddenly felt an ominous chill down her spine at the tone of his dark, emotionless voice that fell on her ears. But then she smiled, "I won’t hate you, and I don’t believe you can kill anyone when angered because I have seen you in one of your bad moods."
