Almost an hour later, Yan Yuling’s car drove into the Feng Group’s parking lot and parked beside Feng Zhexuan’s car. When the bodyguard opened the car door for her, she nodded at them and walked to the private elevator, followed by the bodyguards.

Not long after they entered the elevator, a man wearing a baseball hat and a mask walked out from behind the pillar. He looked at the closed elevator and glanced at the cars.

After hesitating for a moment, he looked around and checked the location of the surveillance cameras. When he found one that was recording Yan Yuling’s car, he pulled out the wire and quickly went to Yan Yuling’s car.

Using a knife, he tampered with the front brake. His movements were skilled, as if he had done this countless times. As soon as he finished cutting the brake hose, he left the parking lot after covering all his tracks.

Meanwhile, in the security guard’s office, they noticed that one of the CCTV cameras was broken and sent a technician to repair it.

At the same time, they also checked the recording of the footage and didn’t find anything suspicious. Thinking it might just be a normal issue, they didn’t report it to their supervisor, and the matter passed without further incident.

Inside the President’s office, Yan Yuling and Feng Zhexuan were having lunch when they heard a knock on the door. Looking toward the door, they saw Wei Zheming stride in.

Noticing his friend’s urgency, Feng Zhexuan asked, "What’s wrong?"

Wei Zheming handed over a document and said with a smile, "Boss, we finally found a donor for your father-in-law. I have finalized the procedures, and one of the doctors from our team is on her way to retrieve the heart. It will take at most two hours to transport it."

When Yan Yuling heard this, her chopsticks fell to the ground. She looked at him with wide eyes and asked, "Assistant Wei, is that true? My father found a matching heart?"

Wei Zheming nodded and replied, "Madam, the doctors are already preparing for the surgery. As soon as the heart arrives, they will begin the transplant."

Hearing this, Yan Yuling could no longer sit still. She looked at her husband and said, "Husband, I want to go to the capital."

Looking at his anxious wife, Feng Zhexuan frowned for a moment before saying, "Wife, I have an important meeting and can’t go with you today. Let Zheming go with you."

Although Yan Yuling was disappointed, she understood that her husband had a huge responsibility as the President of Feng Group. So, she nodded and reminded him, "Take care of yourself. I will call you when I arrive."

Feng Zhexuan put down his bowl, wiped his lips, and stood up. Ignoring Wei Zheming’s presence, he hugged his wife and kissed her lips before saying, "If you need anything, just inform Zheming or give me a call. Remember to miss me."

Yan Yuling, feeling shy with someone else around, still nodded and said, "Okay."

Checking his watch, Wei Zheming said, "Madam, I have prepared the helicopter. We can depart in fifteen minutes."

After finishing his sentence, he tactfully left the office to hand over some important documents to his subordinates.

Inside the office, Feng Zhexuan looked at the barely touched meal and said, "Wife, how about you eat a little more? You didn’t eat much."

Yan Yuling had no appetite at that moment, but when she thought that her husband wouldn’t eat if she didn’t, she forced herself to finish her meal. Not long after she finished brushing her teeth, Wei Zheming returned to inform them that the helicopter was ready.

Feng Zhexuan sent his wife to the helipad and watched reluctantly as she flew away in the helicopter. He stood there unmoving until the helicopter was no longer visible, then let out a long sigh.

Recalling that his wife didn’t bring her bodyguard with her, he sent a message to Wei Zheming, asking him to protect her well. As for himself, he was trained from a young age and could protect himself.

Meanwhile, in Canada, Jian Yuan sat across from Chairman Gu and smiled, "Dad, I heard that you are feeling unwell again. Do you need me to contact Doctor James for you?"

Chairman Gu rubbed his head in a daze and replied after a while, "No need. This headache will go away after I take the medicine. How is the company’s situation?"

"The project is almost finished, and we are preparing for the next collaboration project with the Feng Group," Jian Yuan said while drinking his coffee.

Hearing this, Chairman Gu nodded and said, "The collaboration project is important for our company. You must make sure it’s done."

Jian Yuan nodded and said, "Dad, I plan to go to Huaxia and discuss this matter personally with President Feng. It might take one or two weeks before I return."

Feeling the increasing pain in his head, Chairman Gu has no energy to think about the company’s matters any longer.

He waved his hand and said with a frown, "You can make the arrangements yourself. I will transfer the company’s shares owned by me and your mom to you in a few days. In the future, the company will be left to you."

"Dad, you can rest assured, I won’t let you and mom down," Jian Yuan said meaningfully.

Chairman Gu let out a soft grunt as he felt more pain. He reached for the bottle on the drawer, took the medicine, and said, "I’m tired and want to rest. You can go on with your things."

Seeing Chairman Gu in pain, Jian Yuan smiled and left the room. As he closed the door, the smile instantly disappeared from his face, replaced by a cold, viper-like gaze.

Taking out his phone, he looked at the pictures sent by his subordinates. Looking at Yan Yuling’s smile, his eyes darkened as he traced her face.

"Xiao Ling’er, you are mine. You shouldn’t smile at another man," he whispered softly, his voice full of obsession.

As he scrolled through the pictures, his eyes flashed with killing intent when he saw the photo of Feng Zhexuan kissing Yan Yuling.

Gripping his phone tightly, he clenched his teeth and muttered, "Feng Zhexuan, you must die!"
