Before he could continue, one of the older shareholders immediately objected, "I disagree! If we shut down these companies, how will we pay severance to the employees? There aren’t just office workers but thousands of factory staff as well."

"It’s not like the company can use those. What’s the point of keeping such useless things?" he added with a snort.

The shareholders exchanged looks of disbelief. Although those properties were bought under the company’s name, they had long since been divided among themselves.
