Chapter 1434: Chapter 1434: How Well Done

“Who goes there!”

Gabriel Young’s face changed dramatically upon hearing a blood-curdling scream.

Someone had infiltrated the Young Family estate without a sound, and she hadn’t noticed a thing!

If not for the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance Inspector behind her alerting her, who knows what kind of calamity would have unfolded!

The death of her brother back then was a shadow she could never erase from her heart!

Whoosh!

Without hesitation, Gabriel Young launched herself into the air!

She darted toward the source of the sound.

Julius Reed stood motionless, silently waiting.

The infiltrator’s skills were mediocre, relying only on a strong talent for concealment.

For someone like Gabriel Young, dealing with such a person would be a trivial matter.

Bang! Bang!

With two muffled thuds, Gabriel dragged the lurking figure from the shadows as if hauling a dead dog.

Thud!

“Talk! Who sent you?” Gabriel Young hurled the black-clad figure onto the ground and stomped on their chest, her tone icy to the extreme!

Back then!

Someone had infiltrated the Young Family, taking advantage of her brother’s weakened defenses to strike in an instant!

She would never forget the look of despair in her brother’s eyes as he fell in a pool of blood!

“Talk!”

She roared, her foot pressing down harder.

Crack!

A bone snapped audibly, and the black-clad figure groaned in pain.

Yet even so, the infiltrator remained resolutely silent.

“Let me handle this.” Julius Reed waved his hand, signaling Gabriel Young to step back.

If the man chose to die silently, they’d gain nothing but a corpse.

After a brief hesitation, Gabriel slowly lifted her foot, her eyes filled with hatred!

“Give it up. I won’t say a word!” The black-clad figure suddenly spoke as Julius bent down.

It was the first time he had spoken.

His voice was strange—cold and hoarse.

“Who told you I wanted to interrogate you?” Julius chuckled lightly, pulling the man’s mask off his face. “You’re overthinking it.”

Beneath the mask was a young face.

He seemed only in his twenties.

His features were regular, but his eyes were peculiar—almost animalistic.

“You’re not going to interrogate me?” The man seemed surprised for a moment before asking, “Then you’re going to kill me?”

“Why would I kill you?” Julius countered. “Give me one good reason.”

“I infiltrated the Young Family.” The man pondered before offering his first reason.

“The Young Family estate isn’t a forbidden zone. You came, so what? As the saying goes, a guest is a guest. The Young Family, being local nobles, aren’t so narrow-minded.” After speaking, Julius turned to Gabriel Young and asked, “Am I wrong?”

Gabriel wanted to argue, but all she could do was nod and reply, “You’re not wrong.”

“I harbored ill intentions against you.” Though the black-clad man was slightly baffled, he pressed firmly, “Will you let an enemy go?”

“Enemy? Within the four seas, all men are brothers.” Julius grabbed the man’s shoulder and hauled him up. “I said I wouldn’t kill you. I didn’t say I’d let you go.”

After speaking, he glanced at Gabriel. “Lead the way. Take me to Micah Will’s quarters.”

“Micah Will?” The black-clad man froze before quickly masking his shock.

But that slip-up did not escape Julius Reed’s sharp eyes.

Knowing Micah Will meant this assassin had ties to Pendleton, maybe even the Seven Veins.

Not a word was spoken along the way.

Ten minutes later.

The group arrived at a spacious warehouse within the Young Family estate.

Outside the warehouse, three Grandmasters and dozens of Martial Artists stood guard.

This was the estate’s central zone. Anyone wanting to enter or leave had to traverse the entire complex.

In other words—

They’d have to contend with the entirety of the Young Family’s martial force.

“Madam!”

Seeing Gabriel Young, everyone saluted respectfully.

“Open the door,” Gabriel said icily.

“Yes!”

A Grandmaster raised his hand, and the Martial Artists behind him quickly rushed to the warehouse door, pushing it open forcefully!

Crack!

A row of floodlights instantly illuminated the warehouse.

On the ground lay five people.

Their bodies were bound with hemp rope, their mouths stuffed with rags.

“Remove them,” Gabriel Young commanded coldly.

The night’s events had struck a nerve, provoking her deepest anguish.

Quickly, the rags were removed from the mouths of the five Micah Will disciples.

“Release us! Gabriel Young, you’ll regret crossing Micah Will! Your doom is imminent!”

“The age of the Two Kings and Four Ministers is over! The Cook Family will replace you sooner or later! If you’re wise, send us back. When the Cook Family crushes the Young Family, we might just spare your life!”

Freed to speak, the Micah Will disciples wasted no time delivering blunt threats.

Hearing these words, Gabriel’s face grew darker and darker.

Admittedly, there was truth to their claims.

But the Cook Family was far too audacious!

“Micah Will?” Julius tossed the captured man to the floor and turned his gaze to the boastful disciples. “So impressive, are you?”

“It’s you?” Recognizing Julius, the Micah Will Martial Artists were momentarily startled before regaining their composure.

“Your skills may be great, but to oppose Pendleton is sheer folly. Release us, renounce your darkness, and join Pendleton!”

One of them spoke haughtily.

To him, joining Pendleton was the greatest privilege Julius could hope for.

“I’m asking, is Micah Will truly so formidable?” Julius ignored the man’s words, repeating his question. “Nobody dares harm Micah Will disciples?”

“Whoever harms a Micah Will disciple will face relentless vengeance, even through hell and high water!”

Filled with menace, the man’s voice thundered.

Whoosh!

Julius opened his palm, and Evil Qi ignited, forming a flickering ghostly flame.

“Shall we test that?”

With that, he lightly pushed forward.

Whoosh!

The ghostly flame landed directly on the man who had spoken.

“Ah… save me…”

In mere moments, the man screamed in agony, his previous arrogance obliterated.

Boom!

Julius surged forward, extinguishing the flame with a single powerful strike.

“The pain… Ah! Please, kill me!”

The brief burn left the disciple horrifically scarred.

His features were unrecognizable, his body charred and leaking fluids.

Living was already impossible.

Yet, even death required a bit more time to come.

“Ah…”

Inside the warehouse—

Only strained breathing and the wails of tormented souls remained.

Everyone, even Gabriel Young, felt an icy chill run down their spines!

The sight of the Micah Will disciple’s fate made everyone’s scalp tingle!

“Next. Your turn.” Julius extended his hand.

Whoosh!

In the reflections of the remaining four Micah Will disciples’ eyes, the ghostly blue flame danced wildly.

“I’ll talk! I’ll talk!”

Thud!

All four dropped to their knees in unison. Even as they glimpsed their screaming, writhing comrade, their brains felt numb from the chill!

Cold sweat dripped!

Was this man the **Devil**?

“Speak? About what?” Julius asked with a bemused expression.

“Whatever you want to know, we’ll tell you all!”

The four kowtowed desperately.

They weren’t afraid of death, but this kind of death—no one could face it without terror!

It was a living hell!

“Good. Let me deal with something first.” Julius turned toward the courtyard, where the black-clad man was held firm, and smiled faintly. “How would you like it cooked?”

“I’m an Eagle! I’m an Eagle!” the man stammered, his legs trembling violently.
