King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 869 - 869 857 Little brother what are you looking at
Chapter 869: Chapter 857: Little brother, what are you looking at? Chapter 869: Chapter 857: Little brother, what are you looking at? Thus, the Cataclysm, bursting forth within its world, endless wails and screams emanated from these colliding worlds. As worlds crumbled and all things perished within these shattered realms, individuals capable of surviving apart from their world were seen trying to break free, only to quickly realize their efforts were utterly meaningless.
“So noisy!” The devouring force that suddenly emerged in these colliding worlds on the brink of collapse bound everything. The shattered worlds, the wailing creatures, and those mighty beings attempting to flee, were all dragged into the Void Vortex, into an opening abyssal giant mouth. All sounds, all images of destruction, vanished.”
“Speak, what business have you to disturb me?” The sound of chewing food rang in the ears of those demon lords as the awakened Demon King inquired leisurely, tasting his “little dessert” after being roused from slumber by his descendants who had shaken him awake.
If these little ones who had awakened him couldn’t provide a satisfactory reason, he wouldn’t mind having an extra meal.
“Your Majesty, Demon King, the matter is thus…” Seeing the Demon King who started devouring worlds upon awakening, some demon lords witnessing him for the first time were terrified, but soon, those who had once worked with the Demon King stepped forward to explain why they had awoken him.
“Twenty-seven of our children have already fallen? What a pity!” The Seventh Demon King slowly exhaled upon hearing the report from the demon lords, causing the entire Void to stir ceaselessly with clear ripples of space-time emerging.
“Your Majesty, Demon King, please strike down those three ignorant races along with their worlds!”
“Races capable of inflicting such severe wounds on you might give rise to beings that could rival me. Do not underestimate them. Give me their coordinates, and I shall investigate before making a decision.”
After hearing the report, the Seventh Demon King showed no sign of anger or rage but contemplated seriously whether he might encounter adversaries of equal standing were he to act.
Despite possessing power seen as supremely exalted in the eyes of ordinary demon lords, he remained exceedingly cautious. The higher one stands, the further one sees, and he knew well that the Void was vast, so vast that any entity must maintain reverence toward it.
“Your Majesty, Demon King, they are but a race that hasn’t even unified the world community they inhabit. It is impossible for them to give birth to a great eternal being like yourself!”
After informing the Seventh Demon King of the coordinates of the Erathia world community, the Ghost Hell Demon Lord spoke doubtfully, feeling an increasing awe of the Demon King’s power.
Having received the coordinates, the Demon King paid no heed to the ignorant demon lord. A pair of shadowy eyes opened in the void of the black hole, gazing in the direction of the Erathia world community. The endless Void passed by his gaze, his eyesight spanning across world communities until it finally rested upon a prosperous and flourishing one.
He saw, at the edge of this world community, a group of powerful Epics battling with their successors. Despite their progeny outnumbering the enemy twofold, the battle was inconclusive and they even appeared to be at a slight disadvantage.
Such a disgraceful scene didn’t enrage the Seventh Demon King, for he had witnessed similar sights during his long life. In the Void, there always arise races with exceptional Talent, possessing combat strength far surpassing their peers at any level.
They are generally the cherished races of a grand world, the elite of that world. Compared to the combat prowess displayed by these divine beings, the Demon King was more curious about what kind of world had birthed them.
Thus, his gaze moved past the battlefield and fell upon the center of this world community, a massive orb radiating dazzling light. This was the Erathia Great World, and above this world was another orb, glowing milky white and of comparable size: the Boundless Heavenly Realm.
Below the Erathia world, there lay a Bottomless Abyss formed of numerous shattered worlds, its scale also rivaling that of Erathia and the Boundless Heavenly Realm above.
“An interesting world structure!” Observing these three unique grand worlds, the Seventh Demon King’s interest was further piqued; it was his first encounter with such an unusual world structure.
“Hmm, strange.” In a moment of thought, the Demon King’s gaze captured the entirety of the Erathia world community and soon after discovered a very peculiar sight.
A world community so prosperous, yet aside from the central three grand worlds, there seemed to be no other grand worlds. It was as if all the essence of this world was supplied solely to those central three.
“This is not normal; something must have happened in this world community in the past!” This was the Seventh Demon King’s judgment at the moment; he found traces of other grand worlds that indicated this community, in ancient times, must have included more than what he now saw, with even more grand worlds that had seemingly been destroyed.
“Let me see what lies within the central grand worlds of the world community!” Ultimately, the Demon King’s gaze fell back onto the Erathia world. While the Boundless Heavenly Realm and the Bottomless Abyss below both served as derivative worlds that protected the central one, the true focus was still on the Erathia Great World.
As the Demon King continued to use his immense power to observe the Erathia Great World, the world barriers Elasia used to protect itself gradually faded from his view, revealing a prosperous and vast world before his eyes.
At the center of this world lay a vast continent home to ten different nations flourishing in development, surrounded by an expansive sea with twelve slightly smaller continental plates scattered atop.
“Interesting!” To the native inhabitants of the world, these twelve subcontinents might be just that, but through the eyes of the Seventh Demon King, these continents elicited a different sensation.
As if time were flowing backward, the Erathia world reflected in the Seventh Demon King’s vision rapidly unfolded. The entire world slowly shrank in his sight, and as the size of the world diminished, the twelve subcontinents underwent corresponding transformations.
Their landmass shrank, and then, drop by drop, blood began to seep out from them, endless white bones and shattered weapons revealed themselves… Finally, in the Seventh Demon King’s view, the Erathia world shrank to a world with only the Main Continent surrounded by the sea.
Where the twelve subcontinents originally were, now lay twelve heaps of corpses—twelve piles built from the remains of Ancient Gods and Epics. Inexhaustible Thunder and lightning struck these piles repeatedly, and some of the epic remnants turned to earth and stone under the force of the Thunder.
“A great world that ascended by devouring Epics!” Upon witnessing the scene as it evolved through his own extensions, the Seventh Demon King couldn’t help but express his amazement. A world that had devoured so many Ancient Gods and Epics was indeed a first for him.
…
While the Seventh Demon King was scrutinizing the Erathia World, a corresponding reaction emerged from within it. On the highest mountain range in the center of the Main Continent, a slight tremble began, rocks rolled down, and an earthquake that affected three empires occurred…
In the boundless ocean, a chain of underwater mountains stretching for countless miles also began to quake. One after another, the submarine peaks collapsed and crumbled, clouding the seawater, yet amidst the increasingly murky waters, beams of azure light shone through.
In the high skies, Gale, converging from all over the world, formed an unprecedented super Hurricane, and within the Hurricane, the phantom of a majestic flying beast took shape.
“Roar!” A deep and powerful roar echoed, and as it sounded, endless darkness began to spread; even in broad daylight, three of the subcontinents were engulfed by the darkness.
…
As significant anomalies occurred around the world, in the skies above the Titan Clan Lands, a pair of massive eyes opened once again, marking the reappearance of the spectacle of three suns in the sky.
However, unlike the previous occurrence, which appeared and vanished swiftly like the flash of a summer flower—leaving one to wonder if it was all an illusion—this time the phenomenon did not dissipate as quickly.
…
“This great world is truly interesting; it has even nurtured many powerful creatures to defend itself!” The Seventh Demon King watched with a bemused smile as the guardians of the world reacted to his observation, causing these strange anomalies.
After all, the beings nurtured by the world relied on it to exhibit their strongest fighting power and could not pose any threat to him, billions of light-years away in the Void.
But soon, the Demon King could no longer smile, for in a certain part of that world, a pair of golden eyes slowly opened and met his gaze.
Consequently, everything the Demon King had been investigating disappeared from his vision. All he saw was an endless sea of Golden Thunder, nothing else.
And at the moment when the Demon King’s gaze met that of an Epic Titan, the Demon Lords guarding him fell into a stupor. They only saw the Demon King opening his eyes as if he wanted to scout something.
But then, bolts of Golden Thunderbolt as thick as mountain ranges appeared from nowhere, striking towards the Black Hole where the Demon King resided. In the interweaving of Thunder, a vast world of Thunder gradually took form, enveloping the Seventh Demon King!
“Your Majesty, the Demon King!”
