King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 867 - 867 855 As if Creating a World
Chapter 867: Chapter 855: As if Creating a World Chapter 867: Chapter 855: As if Creating a World “What is this!” Solon stared blankly at the scene before him. Following the orders of Xena Pus, he had traced his way against the direction from which the tsunami had come, finding its source, and now beheld a creation-like scene before him.
Giant meteorites, dragging long tails of flames, fell from the sky. Once they reached a certain height, bolts of thunder appeared out of nowhere, striking these meteorites.
The meteorites, enveloped in thunder and flames, smashed into the sea, raising huge waves. The successive impacts of these meteorites were the culprits behind the tsunami, but Solon felt no joy of having completed the investigation mission.
As he saw these giant meteorites plunge into the sea, the sea itself began to shake tremendously. At first, small rocks and reefs emerged from where the meteorites had fallen, then they visibly grew at an astonishing rate.
What started as continuous reefs, expanded and elevated, and one by one, small islands began to arise, forming a miniature archipelago within this sea area.
Such bizarre changes unfolded before Solon’s eyes: islands growing at the very spots where meteorites had fallen, a spectacle he had never witnessed in his life.
Solon saw the growth and formation of an archipelago, and not only that, but moss also appeared on the previously rocky and jagged surfaces of these islands. The moss grew rapidly, followed by the emergence of more delicate plants.
As if time had accelerated, Solon watched with his own eyes as within a brief period, these barren rocky islands evolved a complete ecosystem.
“Commander Solon, can you hear me? If you can, quickly record what you are seeing now and report back in a timely manner.” Just when Solon was stunned by the creation-like miracle before him, a communication rang out in his ear.
“I’m here!” Hearing the voice beside his ear, Solon touched the badge on the captain’s hat on his head,
“May I ask, Lord Solon, what are you seeing right now? On Xena Pus’s monitoring magic array, your current area is just a brilliant display of rainbow lights, nothing is clear!”
“I am witnessing miracles as if at the beginning of creation!” Solon, already legendary, responded to the inquiries of Xena Pus headquarters.
“What did you say?” A slightly astonished voice sounded, obviously they couldn’t comprehend what Solon was describing!
“I saw meteorites, trailing flames, falling from the sky…” Solon described as briefly and in detail as possible to the Silapus headquarters what he had just seen. He felt that the master of Xena Pus, his benefactor, Prince Muria, should come here for a look.
“The World Rules are manifesting here!” Being legendary, Solon could see more. For instance, he could discern that, as the meteorites fell from the sky to the earth, the lightning and flames served to annihilate the different species laws they carried; laws that made Solon feel extremely uncomfortable even with a single glance.
These laws, as the meteorites descended into the sea, were eradicated by the manifest World Laws. The thunder and flames were the external manifestation of the World Laws. And when the meteorites hit the sea, more intricate laws emerged, acting on the transforming meteorite islands, assimilating these laws.
This was what the legendary Solon witnessed with his own eyes. In his mind, mysterious and profound insights surfaced. He felt he had gained much, yet was unable to articulate it.
“I suggest you notify Prince Muria immediately and urge him to come here for observation! I believe this will be greatly beneficial even for Prince Muria.”
“We understand! We will notify Prince Muria right away!”
…
“Indeed, it is a Law Revelation, human, you have done well!” After Solon reported back, it wasn’t long before a pale golden rainbow streaked rapidly towards him from the direction of Xena Pus. Though this location wasn’t too far from Xena Pus,
space around it was sealed, rendering all observation methods but the most basic physical ones useless here. The golden rainbow dissipated, revealing a somewhat peculiar and tall Golden Giant before Solon’s eyes.
This was a Golden Giant clad in armor, with gold-snake-like thunder coiling around his body and faint flames encircling him as well, giving him the semblance of a miniaturized Titan.
Of course, Solon knew he was not a Titan, but the Storm Giant Leader Terence of Xena Pus, who nominally controlled all the giants. His present strength was due to his fortunate acquisition of the blood gift from Prince Muria, supposedly the most precious essence blood.
To be honest, ever since arriving in Xena Pus and after exchanging thoughts with the Legendary-Level Eternal Life Beings, Solon increasingly felt a sense of helplessness towards the innate talents of humanity.
Those innately divine Eternal Life Beings possessed talents beyond human reach, while most humans relied on their own wisdom to craft extraordinary weapons and equipment to enhance and amplify their strengths, thus narrowing the gap with most Eternal Life Beings.
But this was useless in Xena Pus, where there lived a large number of Dwarven smiths who mastered craftsmanship far beyond that of humans, as well as Elves with superb enchantment skills.
Moreover, Xena Pus controlled abundant resources. Even the Giants Dragons, known for their large size, owned one or two pieces of tailor-made extraordinary equipment within Xena Pus.
So, in Xena Pus, attempting to bridge the gap between humans and Eternal Life Beings with equipment was simply wishful thinking, as the gap between humans and Eternal Life Beings even widened due to equipment enhancements since Eternal Life Beings could endure more external augmentation, while humans had their limits.
Therefore, Solon could only rely on another method to narrow the gap between himself and these Eternal Life Beings: to obtain their bloodline, integrate it into himself, continually refine and merge it until becoming one of them.
In fact, with Solon’s aptitude, achieving this wasn’t difficult. As an individual who had ascended to legend without any additional means, numerous Ancient Dragons in Xena Pus extended olive branches to him.
Many Ancient Dragons were willing to gift him their essence blood, enabling him to smoothly transition from human to high-tier Dragonkin, or even becoming one of the Dragon People, but Solon rejected all these overtures.
Once he accepted a gift from any Ancient Dragon, he would become somewhat subservient to them, though not quite a slave, he would still become a subordinate. Such constraints were unacceptable to the high-minded and proud Solon.
Though of humble origin, as plain as dust, the Titan Tribe’s swordsmanship techniques passed on to him by Muria had taken him to where he was today, and his pride was in no way inferior to those haughty Giants Dragons.
Thus, he had only two objectives. The first was to enter the Angel Reincarnation Pool hovering above Xena Pus, to completely shed his human identity and become a holy battle Angel. The second was to receive the essence blood baptism from Prince Muria, just like the Storm Giant Terence, to become one of his direct minions.
That path was the most challenging but also the one Solon favored the most, and indeed it offered the greatest benefits. Once he received the essence blood baptism from Muria, he could directly become a member of the Xena Pus management, gaining immense power – an aspect that Solon greatly coveted.
“Has Prince Muria not arrived yet? It’s almost over,” Solon said as he looked up at the sky. At that moment in the sky, only scattered meteors were falling, but the grand spectacle of hundreds of meteors plummeting together, as he had witnessed upon his arrival, had disappeared.
“He has been notified!” Terence responded, his eyes fixed on the scene before him. He too saw the Light of Law revealed in the world but found these laws too profound. For someone who had just touched upon the Law, it was too abstruse to comprehend.
Although Terence watched for a long time, he felt that he might have gained something, but at the same time, it seemed he had seen nothing.
Swish! Swish! Swish… Ribbons of rainbow light of various hues shot towards them from the direction of Xena Pus, and once Terence confirmed Solon’s discovery, all the legendary beings guarding Xena Pus were notified.
This opportunity to observe the physical manifestation of World Law had no limit on the number of observers, so after deliberation, the Xena Pus management directly notified all the legendary beings under their command.
They were not worried about the legends who served Xena Pus causing any mischief, as with Muria’s strength and identity, he could suppress everything. Therefore, for those legends who served Xena Pus, the stronger their power, the better.
Glancing over, Solon saw the Metallic Dragons, Five Colored Dragons, Gemstone Dragons, all sorts of Ancient Dragons accounted for, while the giants seemed somewhat scarce, mainly Frost Giants and giants from different worlds. In addition, more than a dozen six-winged legendary Angels, along with a few Elves, Dwarven, Naga, Dragonkin, and legendary mages of other less numerous species.
After these legends appeared, only a small part nodded to Solon, briefly greeting him, while the majority ignored him, being just an ordinary human skilled in swordsmanship, not worth giving much regard.
Seeing this, Solon wasn’t upset; it was normal. He didn’t have the means to make these Eternal Life Beings take note of him, and there was nothing to be angry about.
“This space is hard to tear open!” A somewhat resigned sigh echoed. As Solon watched in horror, right behind him, less than a hundred meters away, a Space Rift was slowly pried apart by a pair of hands…
