King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 842 - 842 830 The Dragon Empresss Dilemma

Chapter 842: Chapter 830: The Dragon Empress’s Dilemma Chapter 842: Chapter 830: The Dragon Empress’s Dilemma “Damn hybrids!” Tiamat’s eyes reflected a scene she had pursued all her life: a group of elite Five Colored Dragons arranged in formations ready to deal with any emergencies, their bodies wrapped in thick elemental light, diving towards Senapus.

Tiamat’s lifelong pursuit was to establish a realm in the Material World ruled by the Five Colored Dragons, with the Dragon King, naturally, being Herself.

And a nation must have a well-disciplined army, ready to follow the Dragon King’s commands and defend against external enemies. But the Five-Color Dragon Empress had spent tens of thousands of years without fulfilling this pursuit of hers.

The Five Colored Dragons She created, particularly the Red Dragons, to which She devoted the most energy, largely ignored Her after several generations of propagation. She wanted the Five Colored Dragons to work for Her yet had to pay them, an utterly preposterous situation! Did these damned creatures not realize She was their Mother? To demand a reward for helping their own creator?

The Blue Dragons and Green Dragons were slightly better, but as for the Black Dragons, they were a product of Her caprice, while the White Dragons existed purely to antagonize the Metallic Dragon Clan, a spur-of-the-moment creation to complete the assortment of the five major dragon types, hence making their kind notorious far and wide.

What did the Five-Color Dragon Empress see now? The scene She had never managed to realize in her lifetime was unfolding before Her very eyes, and it was a hybrid of Titan and Golden Dragon – a descendant of Her brother and rival – who accomplished this. Of course, strictly speaking, only a half-descendant, but even so, it was a humiliation for the Dragon Empress.

In fact, She was well aware of a similar existence, a kind of Giant Dragon that was more like Metallic Dragons in essence but only wore the skin of the Five Colored Dragons, because when Muria first emerged, these dragons spread across the continent.

At that time, their numbers barely exceeded a hundred. Tiamat coveted these Giant Dragons but refrained from acting due to the deterrent power of the Titan Tribe. She even expended a considerable amount of Divine Power to enhance their bloodlines to avoid disaster.

However, later on, when Muria established the Dragon Clan Academy and more excellent, rational Five Colored Dragons emerged, the Five-Color Dragon Empress became restless. She also wanted such Five Colored Dragons, those who would heed Her command.

Hence, the Five-Color Dragon Empress descended in an Avatar, surreptitiously infiltrated the Dragon Clan Academy, and, as a Dragon God, it was not difficult to blend in where Her own offspring gathered in large numbers.

But what was difficult was achieving the goal She sought within the Academy: to spread Her faith, to recruit devout Dragonkin believers. The Dragon Empress found recruiting even a single Dragonkin follower to be as hard as ascending to heaven.

First of all, the very purpose of the founding of the Dragon Clan Academy was to train every dragon in the art of magic, to become elite Giant Dragons capable of handling extreme situations, rather than the simple talent-reliant, do-nothing wastes of before.

Put simply, every dragon was being groomed to become a Mage Dragon. And what are real mages like? True mages are a bunch that doesn’t put Deities in their eyes at all; given the chance, they wouldn’t hesitate to kill a God and take their place.

This situation was caused by Muria’s intentional and unintentional guidance; dragons in the Academy held no mortal reverence for Deities. The only thing they revered was the power held by the Deities.

It wasn’t the lack of reverence for Deities in the Academy and the difficulty of developing believers that most angered Her; after all, not only Five Color Dragons attended the Academy. Similar clans like the Metallic Dragon Clan, Gem Dragon Clan, and Sub-iron Dragon Clan, along with original dragon species, were many, and She wasn’t the only Dragon God affected.

What really enraged the Five-Color Dragon Empress was the Academy’s headmaster, that damned hybrid of Titan and dragon, Muria, who had boldly labeled Her an Evil God. Okay, fair enough, She indeed was one. But what followed was extraordinarily excessive.

Using the pretext that the Five-Color Dragon Empress was an Evil God, Muria blatantly forbade any dragon in the Dragon Clan Academy from worshipping the Five-Color Dragon Empress. Among the nine Dragon Gods, only She was accorded such special treatment.

To enforce this decree, Muria even established a series of severe reward and punishment rules. For instance, those who reported dragons worshiping the Five-Color Dragon Empress would be rewarded.

And if a dragon was discovered worshiping the Five-Color Dragon Empress, not only would all their personal dragon property be confiscated, but they would also be subjected to Six Elements Punishment after de-scaling, skinning, and tendon removal.

The Five-Color Dragons the Dragon Empress created were a very practical breed, so even though She personally sent an avatar into the Dragon Clan Academy, She achieved no effective results and almost got exposed.

“These trash!” The Dragon Empress, residing within her Divine Kingdom, glanced at the Termination Dragonkin she had recreated based on Her original Five Colored Dragons and angrily slapped Her claws.

Her once-prided minions paled in comparison to the group of Five Colored Dragons she now witnessed.

Termination Dragonkin were a new creation by the Dragon Empress after the Five-Color Dragon Clan slipped from Her control, characterized by their brutality, short life span, lack of reproductive ability, lost intelligence – in short, a group of living Weapon designed for slaughter.

“Have I reached the time when I need to change?” The Dragon Empress, sunk in contemplation, quietly pondered. She could see that the dragons of the present were evolving.

And as the Dragon God of the Dragon Race, if He does not change along with them, He might lose His current position, though of course, it wouldn’t matter much.

After all, He was deified in the body of the Dragon King; faith to Him is just the icing on the cake. Without faith, His strength would drop one level than before, but it wouldn’t make much difference, as He is not purely a god of faith.

Even so, the Dragon Empress does not allow such a situation to happen. What was the purpose of becoming the Dragon King if not to integrate into the world, become one of the world rules’ managers, and then gain the power and authority that came with it?

“But for me to change from an evil deity into a good deity like Bahamut, that’s just ridiculous! Moreover, the divine roles I currently control simply don’t allow for such a transformation.”

Evil dragon, conquest, greed; these are the domains Tiamat controls. Tiamat has no idea how to transform into a good deity while controlling these domains. That is simply an impossible task.

Unless He can find a way to obtain a brand new deity and use it as a medium, not to mention transforming into a good deity, becoming an orderly neutral deity wouldn’t be a problem, and this seems to align more with the preferences of that Titan and Son of Dragons.

“No, how can I, a mighty Dragon God, stoop to cater to the tastes of a mere mortal?” Tiamat suddenly came to His senses and felt a sense of shame for the thought that had just arisen. But soon, faced with the future of being downgraded in power, He became entangled in conflicted emotions.

While the Dragon Empress was pondering and doubting Herself, some of the deities in the Temple of All Gods also looked displeased. As deities, they do not hide their emotions, because there’s simply no need.

Regarding Muria dispatching legions to begin attacking the Senapus Subcontinent, gods like the Dawn God Lorshanda, the God of Justice Tyr, the chief god of Elves, and the god of Dwarves didn’t react much; some even considered sending their believers to join the fray.

As deities, they have a much longer vision. It’s clear that this commotion caused by the Titan and Son of Dragons is intended to level the entire Senapus Subcontinent, and with his style, after he levels it, he’s bound to rule it. However, being a hybrid of outsiders, his subjects will surely consist mainly of dragons and giants.

It is well-known that the Eternal Life Beings are scarce in numbers and have very high requirements for their living environment. Even if they were given thousands of years to reproduce, how much land could they occupy?

In the end, on the land that has been swept clean, it will be humans who reoccupy and multiply, and if humans are left without outside interference, their nature is to yearn for the light. And this is a huge cake of faith.

But now the problem is, this huge cake of faith has not yet taken shape. In the meantime, within the Temple of All Gods, all deities not from the Evil Camp were looking at the Evil Gods nearby with various inexplicable gazes.

“Titan!” A deity in the Temple of All Gods muttered the Titan’s name quietly, but not one god could detect his location. Still, without thinking, all the gods knew who this whispering deity was—Shirek, the God of Murder.

A lucky one who became a deity by chance, controlling almost all the domains of murder, a true God of Murder. Only he possesses such sinister divine attributes.

“If you want war, then I shall give you war,” a voice laden with the intent of tyranny rose within the temple, and as the gods looked in the direction of the voice, they immediately understood. This was Bane, the God of Tyranny, also a powerful Evil God.

“Muria, huh? I wonder how much fear my power will arouse in your army after they experience it?” The Demon God of Fear sneered in the temple.

The source of the Demon God of Fear’s power is quite special; His strength comes not from the prayers of His followers, but from the fear He instills in those living beings. When creatures feel fear due to His power, His strength increases.

This is a god in the temple that gods and demons alike despise. No sane god likes Him because the Demon God, in pursuit of the power of fear, often stirs up disasters and massacres.

“Do you want to take action? Don’t blame me for not warning you, but the Epic Titan has already placed His weapon over Senapus. What do you say, could this outsider’s actions have been hinted by the Titan Tribe? If it really is the Epic Titan deciding to flatten your Evil God’s Paradise, do you think you can stop Him?” A goddess looked at the many angry Evil Gods ready to take action and chuckled lightly in the temple.

“So what if we can’t hold out? Do you think we would just sit back and be captured? The Evil God’s Paradise is the main source of my power. If it’s flattened, I would surely be demoted. Once I deteriorate to intermediate divine strength, how many of you would want to attack me? Huh? Do you think I would survive then? Or rather, would you let me go?”

The Demon God of Fear glared at Suren, the Goddess of the Moon, and spoke with a face full of brutality.
