King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 843 - 843 831 You Have the Right to Live

Chapter 843: Chapter 831: You Have the Right to Live Chapter 843: Chapter 831: You Have the Right to Live “What is that?” A demon with a bald head covered with thorny protrusions looked up into the sky and saw what seemed like creatures flying toward the city.

But as he saw the creatures more clearly, his gaze gradually turned to one of stupor, and within those dazed eyes, disbelief surfaced.

“How can there be so many dragons?” The demon rubbed his eyes in disbelief. He thought he might be hallucinating, for he had never seen so many Giant Dragons in his life. These beings, perched at the top of the food chain, how could they gather in such numbers?

“Ah!” The demon’s eyes widened at a scene not far away. He saw a hunting party venturing out of the city being targeted by the unexpected swarm of dragons. A green dragon, entwined with bright elemental light, descended from the sky and heavily crashed into the center of the hunting party.

Ordinary creatures, when encountering apex predators outdoors, have only two choices, to grovel and beg for mercy, hoping to be spared, or to stand tall and die with some dignity.

However, it was evident that within this hunting party, targeted by the powerful green dragon, there weren’t any dignified figures. They immediately knelt on the ground, begging for mercy, to be spared or taken as slaves.

Unfortunately for them, the green dragon had no intention of taking them as slaves, nor did it spare them for their respectful postures. It simply opened its mouth and exhaled a pure white breath.

This breath, clearly imbued with holy attributes, submerged the group of hunters, who were no longer ordinary humans. They screamed in agony within the sacred breath as dark smoke rose from their bodies, and they were purified.

“What the hell is this?” The demon, standing on the city wall, watched the distant scene in a daze. Thanks to his awakened abnormal bloodline, he had exceptional vision, allowing him to see the scene clearly from afar.

“Why does the green dragon exhale holy breath? Shouldn’t it be acid? What kind of dragons are these?”

These were the last thoughts of the demon before he was enveloped by the dense Dragon Flames exhaled by a Red Dragon, which solidified almost like a liquid and left no trace of him.

This demon had never dreamed he would die from a sneak attack by a Red Dragon. Yes, he was killed by the Red Dragon, and it wasn’t even a direct overpowering; the dragon had used Space Magic to assassinate him.

“Are you insane? To ambush such a weak creature with Space Magic!” A Blue Dragon landed beside the Red Dragon that had killed the demon through a space magic ambush, looking at it as if it were an idiot.

“You don’t understand the pleasure of assassination!” The Red Dragon, reveling in the thrill of being able to kill a creature unsuspectingly, retorted disdainfully.

This was a Red Dragon that had gone astray in its education at the Dragon Clan Academy. It had developed a liking for assassination!

“Idiot, look below, all those ants have already spotted you. What kind of assassination is this?” The Blue Dragon replied with contempt, unable to comprehend the thought process of the Red Dragon, which, despite being a pure brute, fell in love with the delicate profession of assassination.

“Right, an assassination shouldn’t be discovered by the enemy.” Upon hearing the Blue Dragon’s words, the assassination-inclined dragon nodded thoughtfully, then focused its gaze onto the city from its perch atop the wall. By now, many creatures stirred by its commotion were shocked, staring at it with their mouths agape.

“In that case, I’ll just have to kill all the enemies who have spotted me. If I eliminate all these ants who have discovered me, then my assassination is still legitimate.”

After a moment’s contemplation, the Red Dragon dived towards the city. As it moved, the air around it turned faintly red, and blazing Flames erupted from its body, scorching everything in the vicinity.

When it landed, a scorching pillar of fire burst forth, destroying all nearby buildings and creatures. It agreed with the Blue Dragon; a true assassination should go unnoticed by the enemies.

The demon fortunate enough to be slain by the Red Dragon’s surprise attack didn’t witness what happened next in the city─dragon after dragon, spiraling over this city with a population of less than a hundred thousand, wantonly spewing Flames. Some even descended, using their Dragon Wings, Dragon Claws, and tails to demolish everything. They were able to unleash all their innate tendencies here.

“Great black dragon, I offer my child to you, please spare me, I am willing to follow you.” In a house, one of its walls casually shattered by a black dragon, a fierce-looking man knelt on the ground with an obsequious expression. He held his hands high, within them a loudly wailing female infant.

“Don’t!” Beside him was a woman curling up on the ground in anguish, her stomach noticeably caved in by a punch, blood mixed with fragments of her insides spilling from the corners of her mouth. It was clear she didn’t have much time left.

“Interesting!” The brawny black dragon, with a size beyond the comprehension of the man before it, cackled with amusement. Its original orders were to kill every living thing in the place, sparing only newborns.

But it was a Mage Dragon. Sure, it enjoyed close combat and battled wielding a Greatsword, but it was still a mage. And as a mage, it should have its own judgment.

The premise for Muria to issue this extinction order was because all self-aware beings here held worldviews entirely incompatible with universal values, so they were deemed unworthy of life.

“Why did you attack her?” the woman before him seemed somewhat different.

“Great Black Dragon, this foolish woman wanted to prevent me from offering sacrifices to you!” The fiercely-looking man now explained with a humble face.

“So, she was trying to protect her child?”

“Um,” the burly man paused slightly, then nodded. He didn’t understand why this Black Dragon would care about what seemed to him an utterly trivial matter, “Yes.”

“Then, this child is the one you fathered with this woman, correct?”

“Yes!”

“Oh, in that case, you have no right to live!” Having obtained the information he wanted, the Black Dragon extended its claw and lightly touched him. Seventh Circle, Death Finger, and the burly man instantly fell dead to the ground.

“Wah!” As the man fell, the infant he had been holding in his hands dropped as well. Just as she was about to hit the ground, a gentle breeze lifted her up and carried her to the struggling mother trying to protect her child.

“Congratulations, you insignificant ant, you and your child have earned the right to live.” The Black Dragon said with a split-grinned smile to the bewildered woman.

“Hey, summon a Cloud Giant!” The Black Dragon called out to a giant who was arriving belatedly in the distance, “There’s an infant here, and a capable mother, take them away quickly!”

“A mother protecting her child, this instinct… even the Evil Gods cannot twist it!” Muria watched the screen before him with a sigh, as everything happening on the front line was simultaneously transmitted to his sight. He had seen the judgment that Black Dragon passed on those parents clearly.

“Issue the order; all natives of Senapus who possess virtues like kindness, honesty, tolerance, and justice, other than infants, may live.”

Muria once again added an order, one which allowed some of Senapus’s residents, who still retained a sliver of humanity, to survive. It was already a very low standard—insofar as one had a shred of humanity in their heart, they could live.

However, the prerequisite for their survival was their ability to show that hidden humanity when facing Muria’s expeditionary Legion; otherwise, they were as good as dead.

Just after he issued this command, a Storm Giant entered, kneeling on one knee, “Your Majesty, we have discovered the nest of a Legendary.”

“Good, tell me the coordinates.” Muria immediately stood up upon hearing a Legendary had been found, his expression indifferent, as he was the one who had given the order.

In Senapus’s first Legendary battle, Muria had decided to take the lead himself, because, besides him, his Legendaries were unlikely to have a full guarantee of executing a Legendary on the spot. A Legendary’s survival skills were simply too formidable. He had rich experience in killing Legendaries without allowing them any chance to escape.

After all, it would be too embarrassing to let the enemy escape in the very first battle.

“A Legendary Warlock with a Demonic Bloodline!” Muria tore through the space and arrived at the location of the first native Legendary detected by the Storm Giant, looking down at the dark and gloomy castle shrouded by dark clouds with an indifferent smile.

“Come out! If you can withstand three of my moves without dying, I will show mercy and allow you to live.”

As Muria’s voice, thunderous like a storm, echoed through the darkened sky, even dispersing the dark clouds covering the gloomy castle, a middle-aged man with a gloomy face flew out of the castle.

“Titan!” The Legendary Demon Warlock looked up at Muria with an ugly expression on his face. He had just received the Divine Oracle from the Deity he worshipped, and to his dismay, he had encountered the being that even his revered Deity raged against so quickly.
