King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 841 - 841 829 Maternal Brilliance
Chapter 841: Chapter 829: Maternal Brilliance Chapter 841: Chapter 829: Maternal Brilliance Such a scene, which defied human nature, was met with no opposition; the other hunters went on dissecting the body of the Demon Shark while they watched, grinning, and some even voiced their admiration for him.
“Shadow, not bad—I hadn’t noticed before, but your execution is so clean, just like mine was at first. I also took my father’s life after he was wounded on a hunt,” said one with a nod of approval.
“Tch, your fathers really were pathetic, letting themselves become worthless to you. They got what they deserved in death, but those bastards in my family wouldn’t dare lay a hand on me even if I were seriously injured and immobilized. They know I would never teach them my Breathing Methods unless I was on my deathbed,” another hunter scornfully added.
This group of hunters laughed boisterously as they steered their ships back to port with the fruits of their sea hunt, unaware that the scene was being monitored from an airspace above and seen by millions of onlookers.
“This continent really is the same as before, virtually unchanged,” Prince Muria said, watching the monitor with a detached expression. He had steeled himself for this before his arrival, so he felt no anger now—the sight was all too common in the Evil God’s Paradise.
“Your Majesty, I request that you wipe these scum from the world,” said Mia, Prince Muria’s personal maid, stepping forward.
The scene they had just witnessed had shattered Mia’s worldview, making her feel nauseated. At this moment, having initially thought to dissuade Prince Muria from waging war, she found herself wholeheartedly supporting it.
If the Senapus Subcontinent’s inhabitants were all such scum, then even if every creature on this land were eradicated, she would not object—it was a waste of air to keep such beings alive.
“There’s no need for anger, Mia. Such sights are all too common on this continent,” Muria said with a smile, calming his visibly upset maid.
“Therefore, I will wage a war of extermination on this land. Everywhere my army passes, not a single native of the Evil God’s Paradise shall survive.”
“You can’t wage a war of extermination!” But as soon as Muria declared his war intentions, Michaela raised an objection, “This continent may be the paradise of the Evil God, but there are innocents here too—children who have just been born, who have no inherited memories; they are innocent.”
“Hmm!” Muria paused at Michaela’s words, then turned and nodded to her as she stood with the intense glow of maternality, hand on her belly. “True, the children are innocent, and we must discern carefully before drawing our swords.”
“But let’s just erase these,” Michaela said, her eyes displaying undisguised disgust as she looked at the hunter ship sailing toward the shore on the monitor.
Boom!
Above the hunting ship, a thick, incandescent beam of light descended from the sky, enveloping the entire vessel. There were no struggles, no screams, or wails; in just a breath or two, the ship was reduced to ash under the light beam, sprinkling over the sea area.
As the hunting ship was obliterated by the bombardment, the formerly empty and dark-cloud-covered sky above the sullied sea area began to reveal an immense airspace.
It was a series of majestic cities floating above in the sky, their elemental brilliance shimmering with an alluring luster that also contained a fatal threat.
From within the nearest floating city below, a huge cannon that had extended from its bottom slowly retracted.
Following the retraction of this massive cannon, a series of ring-shaped space gates opened up between the cities, and one after another, beguiling yet ferocious Naga, with human torsos and serpentine tails, slipped through these gates and plunged into the sea below.
As more Naga entered the water, blossoms of blood unfurled in the sea, filling what was once a dead sea surface with a bizarre, bloody atmosphere.
As these Naga embarked on long-distance, cross-domain warfare, one after another blue-skinned Tidal Giant, armed with immense battle halberds or anchors, leaped down from the floating cities.
“Your task, Naga, is to complete the extermination of all the demonic sea beasts living in these sea areas within ten days. My Tidal Giant Legion will assist you,” came the command.
As the distant Naga began to fight through the space gates, entering the warfare of the coastal region of the Senapus Subcontinent alongside the Tidal Giants, in Wind King Castle,
seven Legendary Naga overlords within Prince Muria’s presence obediently abided by his commands, having been subjugated by his personal military might over the seas.
These seven Legendary Naga overlords were the first reinforcements sent by Landis Ocean Kingdom to support Prince Muria’s campaign, with the second and third waves to follow.
The Landis realm of Naga was a colossal kingdom. They couldn’t possibly deploy all their high-end combat forces at Muria’s call—they too had to shuffle personnel and couldn’t afford to destabilize their kingdom for the sake of his war, even though they would undoubtedly share in the spoils should the war be won.
“The Cloud Giant Legion, the Five-Colored Dragon Army, the Dragonborn Army… prepare to commence the landing operation. Within three days, use Sinapus as the base point to cleanse all Senapus abominations within a hundred-kilometer radius. Aside from newborns that have yet to form a consciousness, annihilate all other creatures, leaving not one alive.”
The majestic and grand voice echoed within the newly constructed Cloud City of Sinapus, and following this command, one after another, the snow-skinned Cloud Giants took to the sky with their domesticated Griffins from the Floating City, flying toward the nearby continental shore. In the blink of an eye, hundreds of thousands of Cloud Giants covered the skies.
After the giants departed, one after another, agile Five Colored Dragons roared and flew toward the distant lands under the leadership of the Ancient Dragons, eager to engage in their innate passion—slaughter and destruction.
Under Muria’s control, they had suppressed their true natures for centuries, but this time, they were free to unleash them to their hearts’ content.
At the same time, one after another, the fleets of Floating Ships rose from the Floating City and descended upon the nearby land, carrying the Dragonkin that Muria had been nurturing over time, including various creatures not adept at flight.
“What a bloodbath!”
On the edge of a Floating City, an Ancient Golden Dragon in dragon-man form watched the scene before him with a look of shock. Below, in the ocean, as far as the eye could see, Naga and Tidal Giants were slaughtering sea beasts, while in the sky, there were flying giants, Five Colored Dragons, and Floating Ships transporting soldiers.
“Such a scale of war must have attracted the attention of quite a few eternal beings!” Another Ancient Dragon arrived and watched together the scene of the Sinapus Army setting out.
“Definitely, those deities would find it difficult not to take notice of this place.”
“I don’t care how those divine beings view this war; they wouldn’t dare to intervene anyway. I’m only concerned with how we can join in on this war.”
Upon hearing this Ancient Dragon’s words, the other Ancient Dragons gathered at the edge of the city to watch the battle looked at each other; they were not under Muria’s command, their sole connection with Muria being that of principal and professors.
Muria could assign them various teaching tasks, but they were not obliged to fight on her behalf… In other words, Muria didn’t have the right to command them unconditionally. If they were to help in the war, there had to be compensation.
But so far, Muria had not shown the slightest intention of inviting them to join this war, which was quite frustrating for the group of Ancient Dragons looking to profit from the conflict.
“The King of Sinapus is truly too stingy. Despite his immense wealth, he’s not willing to invite us. With our participation, the casualties of his legions would drastically decrease.”
“Don’t overthink it; he still has many unused forces. Look at the Angel Legion controlled by his wife; they haven’t even made a move yet,” said one Ancient Dragon, gesturing toward the Cloud City in the skies above.
“In this war, Prince Muria’s main adversaries are actually those avatars sent by the Evil Gods. Conventional forces on this continent are simply unable to withstand the armies he sends out.”
“So, only Ancient Dragons capable of contending with the avatars of the Evil Gods might be invited by Prince Muria?”
“I think that’s the case!”
…
While the Ancient Dragon professors of Sinapus were pondering how to make war profits off Muria, above the heavens, the beings divine were stirred one after another and turned their gazes into the Senapus Subcontinent.
“After only two hundred years of peace, you’ve stirred up such a commotion. Titan, Child of the Dragon, Muria, why can’t you quietly ascend to the Legendary Peak and then honestly enter the Void?”
Inside the Temple of All Gods, a deity whispered softly, yet her voice was not concealed. In that grand temple, all divine beings with avatars placed there heard her.
“What is the fellow planning to do?”
“Probably seeking revenge, I suppose! After all, he faced a terrible pursuit three hundred years ago.”
“A bunch of children with grand futures ahead!” As the divine beings discussed, a five-headed, two-tailed Dragon God did not join in; His gaze intensely focused on the battlefield in the Material World below, “Yet none of them acknowledge me!”
