King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 794 - 794 783 A Biased Grandfather
Chapter 794: Chapter 783: A Biased Grandfather? Chapter 794: Chapter 783: A Biased Grandfather? “What is that?” Muria looked down, surprisingly, there was a lava pool in the middle of the underground palace. Because he saw a pair of crimson eggs floating in the crimson-gold magma, revealing a surprised expression in his eyes.
They were absorbing the power of the magma, and the power of Fire Element was visibly swirling around them, forming a fire cloud. Muria could feel it, the power of these two eggs was far exceeding that of any other eggs in the palace.
“Dragon eggs!” Ansol said in a flat tone.
“These are not Red Dragon eggs, nor are they Ancestral Red Dragon’s, they feel a bit like Dragon King’s, but these two eggs don’t have the domineering sense of the Dragon King.”
Hearing it was dragon eggs, the Golden Dragon Mother refined her senses, but soon, a confused expression crossed her face. She had once seen a Dragon King that had achieved Epics in the form of a Red Dragon, and she didn’t feel that way about these eggs.
“These are dragons from another world, not those from the Erathia World.” Seeing Golden Dragon Mother entirely guessing in the wrong direction, Ansol reminded her and in return, the Golden Dragon Mother angrily hit Ansol on his back, making a muffled sound.
“Muria, I mentioned these foreign dragons before, can you guess what kind of dragon eggs these are?” Ansol’s gaze turned to his son.
“Foreign dragons that devour flames?” Muria appeared contemplative, then he quickly recalled a pair of foreign dragons that had left a deep impression in his mind, “Flame King Dragon? Flame Queen Dragon?”
“You’re right.” Ansol confirmed with a nod as he heard Muria’s guess.
“I’ve heard of these dragons.” Hearing the names mentioned by Muria, the Golden Dragon Mother expressed shock in her eyes. If she was not mistaken, these two dragons seemed to have fought alongside the Overlord Akmonde in the Divine Kingdom. They were powerful foreign dragons that could battle against gods.
“Your father can even give you this level of dragon eggs. That’s too much, isn’t it? Your father helped you so much and yet you don’t help Muria?”
“To exert their combat power, I need to hatch these eggs and then raise them to a certain level. You calculate for yourself, how many resources will I need to provide them before they can exert their combat power for me?”
“If you are so annoyed, you can give all these to Muria.” The Golden Dragon Mother immediately responded.
“That’s not necessary.” Seeing his mother taking advantage of his father’s words to squeeze him, although Muria was a bit tempted, he quickly declined. This was not something he could currently handle. “I have enough dragons to raise already. I don’t need to add two more.”
“Father, what do these eggs need to hatch?” Muria looked at his father, trying to change the subject.
“They are monsters born for slaughter, naturally, they need to be fed with flesh and blood, even when they are still in the egg.” Ansol looked down at the countless eggs below, his eyes a little wistful. His gaze fell on the orb of snakes, “Release your chains!”
“Alright.” Muria pulled back the Star Cloud Chain, and the giant snake, now released from its bindings, had its recovery power greatly increased. It began to devour the surrounding Elements crazily, its head flesh began to move quickly, growing. But Ansol did not make any extra moves, he just walked to the side of the giant snake, picking it up.
Then he dragged it to a high platform, drew his Exclusive Weapon—Destruction, and slashed open the body of the snake with the blade of the Long spear made entirely of Legendary Metal. The blood spilling from the snake’s body, with a strong smell of blood, poured into the closely arranged giant eggs below.
“These eggs are absorbing blood.” Muria observed an egg that was closer to the blood flowing out of the eight-headed giant snake. In the moment the egg made contact with the blood, it quickly devoured it.
Then a pale crimson glow appeared on its surface, and then, this egg began to wobble, as if the creature inside had the ability to break out of its shell.
And as the blood of this giant snake continued to spread, an even more amazing sight appeared. The giant eggs that came in contact with the blood one after another absorbed it, and then followed the wobble, showing signs of wanting to break out of the shell.
“Crackle!” Under Muria’s gaze, the first giant egg was broken open by a clutched claw flashing with chill, a ferocious creature tore through the eggshell. It had just crawled out of the eggshell, wobbled a few times, then steadied itself, and let out a roar. Muria could clearly see its size, it had nearly seven meters tall in a standing position, and from head to tail it was nearly fifteen meters long.
The just-born ferocious beast, which had such an enormous size, its scales looked exceptionally hard, shimmering with a metallic luster. Its claws, and the blade on its tail were not the slightest bit soft, even its head carried a half-moon-shaped unicorn, shining with chill, undoubtedly, they all have a great lethality.
Even with a mere look, it was clear that the newly born ferocious beast possessed mighty killing ability. When it was born, it looked around with vigilance. When it noticed Ansol standing nearby, the vigilance in its eyes decreased considerably. Obviously, it was rather intelligent, knowing that with Ansol standing by, there was no need to worry about danger.
And so, this ferocious beast, which looked quite terrifying on the outside, lowered its head and began to nibble on its own eggshell. After finishing the eggshell, it ballooned, with the expansion clearly visible to the naked eye, and muscular lines becoming very obvious.
Having just finished its first meal, the Battle Beast was not satisfied, and it lowered its head, licking the blood left over from the high platform, and even walked towards the platform, catching the serpent’s blood flowing from above in its mouth.
As it drank more and more blood, the beast continued to grow larger and larger, becoming increasingly ruthless. The sight astonished Muria, who watched from the side.
When Ansol saw the beast coming closer and casting greedy eyes on the eight-headed giant snake beneath his feet, which was trying to recover, he didn’t care. Instead, he used the long spear in his hand, cut a piece of flesh from the snake, and threw it to the beast, whose size was similar to the Overlord Dragon.
The giant beast let out an excited roar, grabbed the snake meat, that was about the size of its head, in its mouth, and gobbled it down. After consuming this high-energy flesh and blood, the giant beast’s body underwent drastic changes.
Various shocking protrusions began to appear on its body, and its muscles were torn apart, only to regrow rapidly. In the blink of an eye, its body size underwent a crazy expansion, doubling in size.
As the first newly born Battle Beast began to grow rapidly, the rest of the ferocious beasts, soaked in fresh blood, also began to hatch out one after another. They finished their first meal and then, mimicking the first, roared at Ansol, asking him for more food.
As for these hungry beasts, Ansol treated them all equally. He cut pieces of flesh from the giant snake and tossed them down from the high platform.
“Are these really living creatures?” Muria watched the Battle Beasts that seemed to be utterly devoid of reason, and were frenziedly devouring the snake’s flesh and growing at a rapid pace. Shock filled her eyes.
“Are these my grandfather’s battle beasts? They shouldn’t be normal creatures.” Muria observed these beasts the way she would ordinary creatures. Even she, at birth, had been weak and helpless, without much combat power, while these beasts could join the battlefield right after birth.
“These are slaughter creatures created by your grandfather specifically for war. Their sole purpose is to fight, so they have an extremely short growth cycle.
They have faster speeds, stronger defenses, and greater lethality than creatures of the same level. But as a trade-off, their lifespan is only one-tenth of that of other creatures.
However, they usually don’t live to their full lifespan, because they often die in intense battles before that time comes.”
Seeing Muria staring at these Battle Beasts, which he was feeding with the flesh of Legendary Creatures, Ansol spoke and clarified her doubts in detail.
“Ansol, do you plan to hatch all these eggs before setting off?” When she heard the roaring of these monsters, which were now all fully grown, the Golden Dragon Mother’s expression remained unchanged as she calmly asked. She had lived a long time and had seen pretty much everything.
“No way. After hatching all these eggs, I still need to raise and breed them to form a second generation. These are merely the seedlings of my legion; they can’t be sent to the battlefield just yet.”
Upon hearing Ansol’s plan, Golden Dragon Mother was immediately interested. “If you manage to breed a second generation, remember to share some with Little Muria. Your father is too stingy, giving Muria nothing to aid his conquest of the world, unlike you who has World Tree leaves and branches and so many battle beast eggs, as well as Otherworld Ancient Dragon eggs.”
“You’re overthinking it. My father consumed too much energy in the previous intense battles and fallen into a deep sleep. My share was prepared in advance by my father so I could get it, but the case is different for Muria.
His promotion speed is too fast now. My father probably didn’t expect Muria’s rate of advancement to be so rapid, which is why he didn’t receive his share.
But that’s no problem. Once my father wakes up, what belongs to him will be his. Rest assured, it can’t be lost.”
“By the time your father wakes up, Little Muria might have already moved on to the Void.”, said Golden Dragon Mother, rolling her eyes.
“Then I’ll give half of the battle beasts I breed to Muria.”
“You must keep this promise; I’ve recorded this conversation. You can’t back out later.”
“It’s unnecessary, I can carry out what I promise.”
