Chapter 793 - 793 782 The Gap between Father and Son

Chapter 793: Chapter 782: The Gap between Father and Son Chapter 793: Chapter 782: The Gap between Father and Son Ansol stared emotionlessly at the ferocious beast lying in front of him, its last head had just been exploded. At the moment, this giant serpent, whose body stretched for miles, was writhing in pain in the dried-up swamp, from which large amounts of dirty water had been evaporated due to the battle.

However, even with all its heads shattered, this giant serpent was not dead. Compared to when it first engaged in combat, this serpent’s life force had only slightly weakened, and it was still incredibly robust. To Ansol’s perception, the life force of this vicious beast was as vigorous as an erupting volcano.

Ansol could clearly see the severed neck of the serpent, where the broken flesh and bone fragments were still twitching, trying to regenerate a head, but because all eight heads had been blown away, its growth was sluggish. The serpent was now in a vulnerable situation, ripe for the slaughter.

Ansol did not need to worry about this eight-headed creature for now. The serpent had temporarily lost its fighting power, so his focus shifted to the weapon that had exploded the last head of the giant serpent. From this golden long spear, shimmering with thunder and flames, he sensed a very familiar aura.

Thus, this towering figure standing in the nearly dried-up swamp looked in the direction where the spear had just fallen. He saw a black hole suddenly appearing in the sky and slowly expanding.

He knew that such a formation of a black hole was due to a powerful creature tearing through the barrier of the world from outside and trying to enter, causing this phenomenon. The speed of the black hole’s expansion was unprecedentedly rapid, and under Ansol’s gaze, metal warships were flying out of it one after another, quickly forming a protective ring around the entrance of the black hole.

Then, an even larger warship flew out of the black hole, which had expanded to its limit. The warship carried an aura that Ansol was very familiar with—two of them, in fact.

“Why have you come?” asked Ansol, his face calm after a bitter battle, and whose kill had been stolen by his son. He didn’t expect that his partner would return so soon after leaving and even brought his son along.

“I heard from Mother that you’re having some trouble with the war in this world, so I came to help,” explained Muria, who felt somewhat embarrassed for having taken his father’s kill.

He had already seen the giant serpent writhing on the ground with seven of its heads decapitated. He had been observing the battle from beyond the world and, in his haste, shot the eighth head.

Undoubtedly, by that point, the serpent had nearly exhausted its strength and had little combat power left. Fortunately, slaying this serpent did not grant any special rewards, nor did it yield anything, and there was no particular honor associated with it.

Thus, Ansol did not comment further, and after Muria felt embarrassed, he didn’t think much of it either. Instead, he took out his Star Cloud Chain and skillfully bound the healing serpent.

Once the serpent, with its eight heads chopped off, was tied into a ball, the pace of its wounds healing slowed even further, nearly to a halt.

Muria was aware of the general process of Titan’s world conquest, which prioritized subjugation over slaughter. As long as there was a sliver of hope of making the victim submit, it was best not to kill. After all, potential subordinates were valuable resources.

“There’s no need; my war is progressing very smoothly,” Ansol retorted casually to Golden Dragon Mother’s words, glancing at her, “I don’t need your help. I can handle this place on my own.”

“Really? You truly don’t need Little Muria’s help? In that case, you have some spare capacity, right?” Golden Dragon Mother asked, grinning at her husband’s words.

“No need,” Ansol replied, shaking his head emphatically.

“Little Muria encountered some significant difficulties during his world conquest. He has a gaping need for resources. He needs to conquer a few new worlds to fill this gap. Since you are still lightly handling things here, why don’t you help Little Muria conquer new worlds?”

“Hmm?” Upon hearing Golden Dragon Mother’s words, Ansol studied Muria more carefully. He hadn’t noticed before, but now he finally realized that something was off about Muria, “Release your full aura, don’t hold back.”

“Sure.” At his father’s command, Muria rubbed his nose and revealed his aura, eagerly watching his father’s reaction. To his great pleasure, his normally impassive father seemed surprised. It was an unexpected sight.

“You’ve been promoted to Legendary 4th Rank. How did that happen so quickly?” The surprise on Ansol’s face was fleeting, but he soon returned to his original emotionless state. As a warrior, he knew that only by maintaining the coolest state of emotion could he bring out the strongest fighting power.

“It was a series of coincidences, causing me to break through. Of course, the main reason for such quick advancement was the Divinity given to me by grandfather Akmonde. Without that Divinity, I might still be stuck at the legendary barrier,” Muria gave full credit for his advancement to the Divinity bestowed by his grandfather, Akmonde, the Master of the Wilderness. This was a plausible explanation, and Ansol accepted it.

“So you’ve started conquering worlds too?”

“Yes.” Seeing the calm expression on his father’s face, Muria also maintained a stoic expression and nodded.

“How is the conquest progressing?”

“Not bad!”

“Don’t learn from your father’s ways. Such a nice face, yet always devoid of expression. It’s better to smile.” After Muria finished answering, the Golden Dragon Mother slapped him impatiently on the back of his head. She was very annoyed with Ansol because he was always expressionless, no matter when or where he was. It irritated her.

“Oh!” Muria pulled up the corners of his mouth, revealing a helpless smile.

“And also, he is your father. If you have any difficulties, discuss it directly with him. Why are you hiding things? He wouldn’t refuse to help you.” The Golden Dragon Mother looked at Muria’s expression, rolled her eyes and said, “Ansol, please help Muria! His problem is severe.”

“Not possible, you must conquer the world independently. It’s an invaluable challenge for you.” As soon as the Golden Dragon Mother finished speaking, Ansol shook his head and denied right away, then kept a solemn face, addressing Muria.

“Spare me your preaching. Do you know the sort of world your son has been assigned to?” Before Muria could respond, the Golden Dragon Mother intervened, “The world he’s been sent to has been unified by the local aborigines. If I didn’t help him, he would still be hiding by the wayside. I suspect he wouldn’t progress further until he reaches High-level Legendary.”

“A unified world?” When Ansol heard about Muria’s situation, his brow furrowed slightly, “I can provide him with resources, but I won’t directly assist him. He needs to conquer it by himself.”

“You don’t need to assist him. Just help him secure a few small worlds that can provide resources.”

“Okay.” After considering the Golden Dragon Mother’s words, Ansol nodded in agreement, “But you will have to wait for a while.”

“What do you need to wait for?”When the Golden Dragon Mother heard Ansol’s words, a trace of confusion flickered in her eyes.

“You’ll know when you come with me.” After that, Ansol called for the Power-Ability Dragon crouched obediently by his side not to interrupt their conversation. He then stepped onto it.

“Che!” Seeing the Power-Ability Dragon, which his father used as a mount, Muria couldn’t help but smack his lips. He then honestly followed, carrying the Giant Serpent that he had bundled into a ball.

The Void Fleet that Muria brought followed in an orderly manner, casting a large shadow on the ground, and scaring the local creatures of this world into frantic running.

Soon, Ansol brought Muria and the Golden Dragon Mother back to his residence. After instructing Muria to have the Void Fleet stop nearby, he took Muria and the Golden Dragon Mother on a winding route into the depths of a mountain, entering a massive underground palace that had been hollowed out.

“This is…” Seeing the giant eggs placed close together, in a terrifyingly dense pattern enough to scare those suffering from a fear of clustered holes, Muria couldn’t help but gape in astonishment.

“These belong to my legion. They are currently incubating, so I need to wait for a while.” Ansol glanced down at an enormous flat land full of giant eggs, his eyes revealing a hint of emotions.

“Where did you get these eggs?” Looking at tens of thousands of giant eggs in the underground palace, the Golden Dragon Mother expressed her surprise too.

“My father gave them to me before I arrived in this world.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Because you didn’t ask.”

“The aura of these eggs…It feels very familiar.” Watching his mother, who was annoyed and decided not to speak, Muria didn’t pay her any attention and instead stared at the white giant eggs that were about ten meters high and had faint scales on the surface.

“Do you remember the Battle Beasts you saw when you first entered your grandfather’s semi plane? Some of these eggs belong to those creatures.”

When he heard his father’s words, Muria immediately remembered those creatures with razor-sharp tails, strong hind legs like a Tyrannosaurus, sharp front claws, bred for slaughter.

“And the rest are the eggs of other Battle Beasts under grandfather’s command?”

“Yes.”
