Chapter 1385 - 1385 1360 The Netherworlds European Emperor_2

Chapter 1385: Chapter 1360: The Netherworld’s European Emperor_2 Chapter 1385: Chapter 1360: The Netherworld’s European Emperor_2 Dozens of low-level skeletons struggled to emerge from the Land of Skeletons, their Soul Fire dim and flickering, their bodies frail as if a slightly stronger gust of chilling wind could reduce them back to dry bones.

But as time passed, these newly-born undead instinctively absorbed the surrounding Death Qi, gradually stabilizing their skeletal bodies. Their Soul Fire no longer flickered, and as they moved, their bones no longer made clicking sounds.

Just as this group of low-level skeletons had stabilized their existence, a fleshless skull burst out of the mist and bit into a small skeleton.

With a “Click,” it crushed it completely, forcibly plundering the now-steady Soul Fire… The basic law of survival of the fittest was vividly displayed in this moment. The newly born low-level undead had no resistance against their predators; they could only run, but to no avail.

When only the last skeleton predated by the hunters remained, a hand wrapped in yellowish-white bandages descended from the sky, grabbing the skeleton beast that was hunting the low-level undead.

Boom!

A pile of shattered bones fell from the sky, landing in front of the lone remaining skeleton. During the hunt, the skeleton which had developed fear as an emotion, dazedly lifted its head to look at the giant wrapped in yellow bandages in the sky, fear emerging in its consciousness.

Then, this low-level skeleton wanted to submit to this powerful higher-level undead following its instincts, but before it could kneel, a bone spear from nowhere penetrated the mummy giant, completely bursting its body.

Next, a massive skull landed in front of the skeleton, its Soul Fire slowly dispersing within, having been shattered by the murderous intent in the bone spear. Part of that Soul Fire instinctively started converging towards the small skeleton.

Without resistance, the small skeleton instinctively began absorbing the Soul Fire converging towards it. Its aura grew noticeably stronger at a significant pace; even its bones, visible to the naked eye, became sturdier and more translucent.

But unfortunately, pies don’t just fall from the sky for free. As the small skeleton joyously absorbed the good fortune that fell before it, the entity that had killed the mummy giant appeared in the dark Sky Dome.

Then, he saw the small skeleton “freeloading” on his prey, “Low-level mindless undead, die!”

Just as the Dark Knight was about to erase the small skeleton that was plagiarizing his hunting results, pure white Divine Light descended from the sky, grazed his body, and then struck down on a nearby Skeleton Mountain.

Thus, the small skeleton that had just absorbed the actively converging Soul Fire blankly watched another fallen knight’s broken body appear before it, somewhat unable to understand what exactly this world was about, why it kept receiving benefits over and over again.

No time was given for the small skeleton to continue thinking, as the consciousness of the Dark Knight, already erased by the white Divine Light, shattered. Its pure Soul Fire mixed with pure Death Qi dispersed, once again actively converging towards the only undead still able to move in this area.

Then, the scene repeated itself, the only difference being that the small skeleton had now become stronger, and the Soul Fire it was absorbing was more abundant and purer than before.

When the small skeleton once again digested the celestial fortune, it was no longer a lowly undead of the Netherworld. It had developed its own consciousness, spawned its own intellect, and had even grown a thin layer of bone Armor.

Thus, the newly enlightened skeletal knight somewhat dazedly looked at the massive changes occurring in heaven and earth, pure white Divine Light, one beam after another, descending from the Sky Dome. All undead touched by the Divine Light disintegrated within it, without even a chance to wail or scream.

“ROAR!”

A roar filled with ultimate anger echoed in the sky. The newly enlightened skeletal knight fully felt this anger and could understand the strength of its owner because its body trembled with the roar, seemingly about to disintegrate at any moment.

Thus, while unable to resist kneeling, the newly advanced skeletal knight looked in the direction of the sound, observing a mountainous-sized giant corpse turtle.

This powerful undead was enveloped in thick earthy-yellow Light, commanding the Light to counteract the Divine Light falling like sharp swords from the Sky Dome.

“So strong!”

In the consciousness of the skeletal knight, this was the simple thought. It had seen the strength of the white Divine Light; it was a Heavenly Punishment capable of erasing high-level undead and destroying everything.

It was such a terrifying Heavenly Punishment, yet this Undead Turtle managed to withstand it time and again, and even seemed to challenge the beings above the Sky Dome. However, the Skeletal Knight could see that the power of this Undead Turtle was dropping at a noticeable rate, the earthy Divine Light around it becoming increasingly thin.

“I have remembered your auras; I will not let you go.”

Following what sounded to the Skeletal Knight like a meaningless threat, the powerful Undead Turtle was pierced by a white Divine Light, followed by a violent explosion.

Boom!

The familiar scene happened once again; the Skeletal Knight looked blankly at the shattered turtle shell smashed in front of it, feeling somewhat at a loss. But soon, instinct taught it what to do.

The Skeletal Knight carefully extended its palm, touching the shattered turtle shell in front of it, which was as large as a small mountain. Then, the dim spirit light on its body surged, spreading to the turtle shell.

Fortunately, the knight did not become stronger, but the Armor on its body thickened at an exaggerated rate, and its Qi at that moment became extremely solid, carrying a heaviness like the earth that bears all things.

“What are those?”

Even though it was replacing its skeletal body with the turtle shell, the Skeletal Knight couldn’t help but think as it observed the white Divine Lights continuously falling from the Sky Dome.

“Heavenly Punishment?”

The Skeletal Knight knew that these white Divine Lights would obliterate it with even the slightest touch, but it had no thoughts of running or hiding, as it realized there was nowhere to flee.

Facing these white Divine Lights that could fall anywhere, running was utterly meaningless and might even lead to its premature demise due to its reckless actions.

So instead of running around, it was better to stand still, leaving everything to luck. If it were doomed to fall through time, running anywhere was futile.

Unbeknownst to it, from some point on, the white Divine Lights falling from the Sky Dome had ceased, and the Skeletal Knight hadn’t yet “finished eating” the broken turtle shell in front of it. But it already felt its newfound strength.

Just as the Skeletal Knight was considering where to go after digesting the turtle shell, another roar came from deep within the distant mountains, shaking the entire Netherworld.

“I am the Undead Emperor, eternal and unkillable. What can you do to me?”

Hearing this declaration, filled with supreme authority, the Skeletal Knight once again submitted to the stirring deep within its soul, kneeling on the ground and then crawling toward the deep mountains.

The Skeletal Knight didn’t know why it acted this way; instinct drove it, and so it complied.

Then, the knight kneeling on the ground felt the earth trembling, and the sky growing more furious. An endless Hurricane swept in from the depths of the mountains, scouring the land of Skeletal Bones, which after being cleansed once, seemed even more desolate.

“My Undying Legion, heed my call, be my sword and slay the Evil God!”

That voice, which made the Skeletal Knight feel awe and involuntary Submission, echoed once more in the sky. A primordial instinct engraved within the essence made the knight stand up and then clumsily proceed towards the deep mountains.

But whether it was because it had devoured the turtle shell or not, the Skeletal Knight’s pace was sluggish, as slow as a crawling turtle.
