King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 1384 - 1384 1360 The Netherworlds Lucky Emperor
Chapter 1384: Chapter 1360: The Netherworld’s Lucky Emperor Chapter 1384: Chapter 1360: The Netherworld’s Lucky Emperor “Muria, remember this,” the speaker said solemnly, “the only reason I’m helping you is because of my granddaughter. Your destiny is bound to hers, and if you become powerful, nothing will befall her.”
“I’m aware.” Muria was extremely clear about the situation. It was all about cost-effectiveness. Michaela’s strength was too feeble, resulting in her divine powers only being so effective, even upon magnification after becoming a deity. Therefore, the cost of cultivating Michaela far outweighed cultivating him.
Thus, rather than cultivating Michaela, it made more sense to invest in him, her partner from the Golden Dragon lineage. Even Aludiba was well aware that the only one who would truly be by his granddaughter’s side for the long haul was Muria. He could seek help from his kind, but while they might assist momentarily, they wouldn’t be a permanent solution.
“If you become the master of this world, you do know what to do, right?”
“You can be sure of that,” Muria immediately assured the elder, “On the day of my success, Mija will possess a power equal to mine.”
“It’s good that you have this intention, but you don’t have to do exactly that.” Hearing Muria’s promise filled Aludiba with satisfaction. It was the honesty and straightforwardness inherent in the Titan and Golden Dragon lineage that inclined him to make such a choice.
“If you become the master of this world, all you need to do is to ensure Mija’s power is second only to yours in this realm, nothing more.”
“It’s inevitable.”
After a meaningful conversation with his Blazing Sky godly grandfather, Aludiba, Muria led a group of allies once more to the entrance of the Primeval Deity’s Divine Kingdom—a ruin hidden deep underground, shrouded with dense Death Qi.
Upon hearing Muria’s description of how to enter the Death God’s Divine Domain, the Epics couldn’t help but express their surprise.
“I’ve never seen a Deity’s Divine Kingdom that can be so easily intruded upon before.”
“That’s true, but considering the state of this deity, it’s not difficult to understand.”
“Even though the entry is convenient, this convenience also means that other forces will find it just as accessible. And that’s problematic.”
“Does that mean many beings have extended their reach into this original deity’s Divine Kingdom?”
“It is certain. A falling Ancient God is a feast everyone wants a piece of.”
“When we enter then, we’ll have to be cautious about this issue.”
“Cautious about what? There’s no need. As soon as we get inside, we join forces to bombard his Divine Kingdom. Whatever is hidden inside will be revealed, and we can simply clean it up.”
Dimos commented nonchalantly upon the discussion of the Blazing Sky Gods, and his straightforward approach was unanimously endorsed by the other Dragon Kings, including Muria.
Compared to scheming, the Dragon Kings preferred to push through with overbearing strength without any rationale, and they certainly had the capacity to do so.
“That’s too barbaric, too brutal,” a Blazing Sky God commented bluntly.
“But it’s also very simple, direct, and effective,” retorted the Star Cluster Dragon King.
“By doing this, we might alarm those who have set their traps within the Death God’s Divine Domain.”
“Won’t killing the Death God alert them anyway?”
“So let’s just clear everything in advance to avoid complications.”
“If that’s so, then swift action is crucial. We can’t prolong the battle—it must be as brief as possible.”
“Then it all depends on Muria. Bringing down a deity quickly is no simple task.”
And so, the gaze of all eleven Epics fell upon Muria.
“What can I do?” inquired Muria.
“As a Deity, you must seize the divine powers of other gods,” Aludiba replied.
“Isn’t that something typically done only after the conflict ends?” Muria asked, puzzled.
From what he knew about deities, when one fell, the Divine Attribute that carried their divine duties would appear. If the vanquisher shared some compatibility with the deity, they could inherit the Divine Attribute. If there was no compatibility, the divine duties would be reabsorbed by the world, waiting for a new inheritor.
Muria presumed his act of seizing divine power would happen only after the Primeval Deity’s fall, when its Divine Attribute manifested, at which time he would inherit everything and become the true Death God.
“You can also take their divine powers while battling—didn’t you know?” Aludiba looked at his son-in-law with surprise, taken aback by Muria’s ignorance of such “common knowledge.”
“Aludiba, that’s enough. Besides your Blazing Sky God Race, who else would delve into such trivial matters? Titans and our Dragon Race wouldn’t bother with that kind of toy. It’s normal for Muria to be unaware. Stop wasting time and teach him how to do it!” Dimos immediately stood up for Muria, feeling kinship.
“Muria, come here, I will show you how to act during the battle.”
Aludiba couldn’t be bothered with Dimos and just beckoned Muria over.
…
Creak, crack!
Upon the ashen bones that formed the land, swaths of dark mists wafted through the air, pregnant with thick Death Qi. As they billowed, lesser undead creatures were spontaneously spawned.
