King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1386 - 1386 1361 The Falling Sun

Chapter 1386: Chapter 1361: The Falling Sun Chapter 1386: Chapter 1361: The Falling Sun Gloomy thunderclouds smothered the obscure sky, and the golden Thunder Snake Spirit darted amongst the clouds. These creatures, fully born from the power of some being, roared along, following their master’s will, spitting out bolts of Thunder that struck the Ancient Gods standing erect upon the earth.

But these bolts, capable of easily leveling mountains and evaporating rivers, did not even truly hit the Ancient Divine Spirit. Instead, they were extinguished by a layer of majestic Divine Light around Him.

“Is this the true power of the Ancient Gods?”

Having exhausted all his strength, Muria revealed his original form—the Titan Body with distinct Dragon characteristics.

In one hand he held the Prison-suppression halberd, in the other the Damo Sword, adorned in the Saintly Imperial Abyss armor, with the Luo Tian Mirror slowly rotating behind him, and thirty-two Fixed Star Beads suspended around him, harnessing the world’s power Muria controlled to counteract the death realm’s blessings upon the Nether Sovereign.

Even so, Muria was in a rather embarrassing position in this battle, completely at a disadvantage. The God-splitting Seal floating beside Him was proof of that—the seal, created specifically for Deities, bore a prominent handprint, nearly causing it to lose its shape.

Yet, such deformation did not affect the use of the God-splitting Seal; such equipment, as seals, did not need to be intricate; the weight alone was sufficient.

However, this advantage couldn’t give Muria the upper hand in the confrontation with the Nether Sovereign. Furthermore, the battle between him and the Nether Sovereign wasn’t a fair duel but a group fight.

Upon realizing that Muria truly couldn’t suppress this Ancient Divine Spirit who held the power of death, the Blazing Sky Gods and the Dragon King entered the fray. These beings, whose existences were measured in tens of thousands of years, did not possess any sense of spiritual purity. They certainly wouldn’t adhere to something like the knightly virtue of one-on-one combat.

Why duel when you can gang up on someone?

Thus, the battle, which had nothing to do with fairness, began to tilt in Muria’s favor.

Six Divine Beings combined their might to suppress the Divine Kingdom of the Undead Emperor, using their own power to seal the entire kingdom’s blessing forces, while the Dragon Kings weakened the Nether Sovereign’s defenses, allowing each of Muria’s strikes to deal significant damage to the god of death.

The Ancient Divine Spirit roared repeatedly as His Divine Will began to recover slightly in this battle that threatened His very existence. He took the initiative to summon His servants:

“My Undying Legion, heed my call…”

At the Nether Sovereign’s summons, all the Undead living in the Netherworld began to respond to the call of their ruler, their own will insignificant before their creator.

Thus, one after another, presences that could draw the serious attention of the Blazing Sky Gods and the Dragon Kings emerged from different corners of the Netherworld. These were Undead Puppets that could contend with Divine Spirits, and because Muria had fought similar beings, he recognized them the moment they appeared.

“Truly worthy of being a primordial deity!”

When Muria sensed at least ten divine presences of the Undead, he couldn’t help but utter his sincere admiration.

When an Ancient God born alongside the world chose to become its steward, the primordial deities emerged. These spirits, who traded freedom for power, stood at the peak of divine power upon their arrival.

Compared to the Ancient Gods who chose to explore the unknown Void, those who became deities cannot be said to have made the wrong choice. It’s merely two different paths.

After all, the achievements of those Ancient Gods that ventured into the Void are not necessarily greater than those who chose to bind themselves by their origins. Most Ancient Gods fare well in the Void, provided they can survive there.

But those who chose to become the original deities essentially lost the desire to grow stronger, for they had lost such potential, reaching the pinnacle as soon as they appeared.

However, not being able to ascend doesn’t mean they couldn’t focus on other aspects. For example, the Undead Puppets that answered the Nether Sovereign’s call, these battle puppets created from the poems of Divine Beings, represent the wealth of experiences the original deities accumulated over long eons.

Young Deities, no matter how talented, could not possess such depth—it’s no longer about talent or flair, but pure strength and longevity, which is why they could collect these divine corpses.

“Muria, focus on your battle; we’ll handle these,” Aludiba reminded when he noticed that Muria’s attention was partly drawn by the Undead Puppets.

“Before we fall, no matter how many strange and bizarre Undead this god of death summons, we will block them for you and not interfere with what you are doing.”

“I understand.”

Empowered by the weak divine power of the earth he held, Muria could feel a horrifying number of Undead converging beneath the Skeletal Bones Earth.

Even with the Luo Tian Mirror at his back, Muria had already observed the boundless Undead tide—a catastrophe that could drive any nation or power to despair.

But to the Epics, this was merely dust that could easily be erased with a bit more time. The only noteworthy things were the Legendary Undead and divine corpse puppets hidden within. Beyond those, numbers had long since lost their meaning to the Epics.
