Chapter 1362 - 1362 1346 Deity Knight

Chapter 1362: Chapter 1346: Deity Knight Chapter 1362: Chapter 1346: Deity Knight “Idol!”

Facing the bronze statue that suddenly erupted with an ancient and vast Divine Might, Muria remained unmoved, even taking the leisure to survey it in detail, conducting a deep observation through the Luo Tian Mirror.

It could basically be ascertained that this was an idol that stood in a temple, worshipped by people countless years ago. Even after the passage of extensive time, the Power of Faith that did not fade with age still maintained the divinity of the idol.

It was precisely because of this intense Power of Faith that when Muria’s power touched it, the statue instinctively fought back, a protocol that had been set long ago.

Because Muria detected that the ancient will erupting from it, though belonging to the rank of a deity, seemed exceedingly chaotic. This was not a clear and coherent will.

This indicated that the state of the being behind the idol might not be too good, nor too bad, for the mere act of the idol being disturbed was enough to connect to the power of this entity and retaliate, which spoke volumes.

“An encountered problem with an ancient Divine Spirit? And it just happens to have the attribute of death.”

Upon realizing the magnitude of the entity he might face, Muria let out a sardonic chuckle.

A grand opportunity? A divine-level gift pack? Fool’s talk! As if such good things could happen, to this great world, he was an outsider—even if he had acquired a local residency, expecting the world to treat him with the same fairness was a dream!

If he wanted to gain benefits, he could only rely on his own strength, fighting for them punch by punch. The protagonist treatment of randomly stumbling upon gains with no effort was out of the question.

Scheming? Of course, Muria began to recall and ponder the process of his Domain allocation. Upon confirming the result that he had been schemed against, deducing the process of the scheme wasn’t difficult.

“Sun God!”

Muria also thought of the ancient Divine Spirit that had existed since before the world shattered, targeting his being. Only such an entity would be capable of scheming against him in this way.

The Sun God knew what might exist within the shattered Domain, and then, by leading the division of the world, aimed to trap him. The inequality of information meant that Muria nearly stepped into the pit before realizing it.

More crucially, it was a naked conspiracy. The Sun God did not fear Muria detecting it, always because the Sun God’s own strength was substantial, unafraid of Muria troubling him over it.

Secondly, it was because Muria, who had realized he might step halfway into a trap, now wanted to plunge his entire foot in.

Faced with an Ancient Divine Spirit controlling the power of death and possibly a bit off in the head, Muria could not help but feel tempted, but he also knew well that there was definitely a catch.

After all, the Sun God who was scheming against him already knew the level of his strength, and would definitely send an existence with a Powerful Divine Force to trap him.

Anything below that level, even if controlling the power of death, would essentially be delivering benefits to him. Thus, a conservative guess would be that he was about to face a Primordial Death God of equal standing to the Sun God, and furthermore, its state might be off.

Venturing further with a bold guess, such an abnormal state would not only fail to impact the combat strength of this Primordial Death God but would likely enhance it greatly.

“Sigh, I am of the same ilk as those guys, greed!” Muria introspectively derided himself, clearly seeing the greed in his heart.

Although he felt this sentiment, Muria did not cast aside this greedy thought. Greed, an eternal dissatisfaction with one’s current state, is one of the drivers for creatures to constantly grow stronger and chase after something better.

If there ever came a day when Muria felt satisfied with his strength, that would be the sign he was content with his lot, signaling a halt in the progress of his power. But now, his greed and ambition were the foundations for his growth in strength.

Among the turning of the years for Muria, within the relics ruins underground, the pervasive aura of death finally peaked. Thus, a passage to the Undead Kingdom silently split open.

The air was filled with a deadly, silent gloom; black-purple haze spread throughout, plunging everything it touched into absolute darkness, devoid of even a sliver of light.

More interestingly, Muria realized that his perception of the outside world was suddenly almost entirely blocked. Fortunately, with the assistance of the Luo Tian Mirror, the haze that simply shielded the senses had little effect on him; he could “see” the bony claws hidden within the mist, stretching out towards him.

So, Muria raised his palm towards the bone claw and then… grasped it together.

???

Muria could distinctly sense a moment of bewilderment from the presence in the black fog, seemingly caught off guard. But in the next instant, the bone claw began to constrict, its finger bones like sharp blades intending to sever Muria’s palm.

But Muria, fully aware of his surroundings, reacted faster. Maintaining his humanoid form, his palm tightened slightly; immediately, the sound of cracking bones resounded through the quiet underground ruins.

At the same time, Muria pulled hard, dragging the monster, which seemed to be in a special dimension, into the normal plane; then, a bizarrely-shaped Great Skeleton appeared before him.

This was a humanoid Undead with arms that extended beyond its knees. Its spine was hunched, with arms almost reaching the ground, seemingly devoid of any dignity. But Muria did not underestimate such Undead monsters.

With the pervasive fog, these monsters were invisible to most creatures; combined with their lethal bone claws, they were essentially Undead Assassins.

But just like a regular assassin exposed to sunlight doesn’t live long, a murder specialist dragged into the open likewise has no value in continuing to exist.

After Muria took one glance to understand its structure, a golden-jade Fixed Star Bead appeared, then whimsically spun above the monster’s head.

A massive force acted upon the beast, its ashen bones revealing fine cracks, then further shattered, ultimately turning into fine dust absorbed into the Fixed Star Bead… This easily reaped Legends in special environments, the Undead Assassin, thus perished.

But attacks had only just begun. Within the increasingly thick purple-black fog, even more powerful Undead monsters loomed, eyeing Muria with malevolent intent, who exuded life force like a boundless ocean.

“If it’s just this, then it’s too uninteresting.”

The deity who had reached this place raised his hand lightly; another Fixed Star Bead emerged, forming a Magic Array with the previous bead. Enigmatic Array Patterns spread uncontrollably across the ruin, starting from the twelve Fixed Star Beads.

Before the Undead monsters could organize a second wave of attack, the resplendent Magic Array was already Covering every inch of the underground ruins, even encompassing the mist emanating from the Netherworld. In the next instant, the killing array activated.

Light expelled the darkness, Flames and Thunder swept across the whole relic, purging all evil spirits; the Undead monsters hidden in the fog vanished in that moment.

But things were far from over. Muria, witnessing the space rift that remained intact despite the Magic Array’s sweep, stepped forward. Not only to find the culprit behind his God Dragon’s demise, but also to ascend to higher realms, it was necessary for him to take a look inside.

Naturally, accompanied by the “clatter” of hooves hitting the void, there appeared a knight, mounted on a Ferocious Beast, clad in Black Armor, with not an inch of skin exposed, wielding a Long spear, an oppressive aura devoid of any emotion bearing down on Muria.

Under this oppressive force, the surroundings transformed; what used to be ruins filled with Shattered buildings became a Wasteland strewn with bones, the Sky infinitely dark, stretching to unknown limits.

“Oh Deity!”

Muria faced the knight blocking his path, his eyes becoming more profound, noting that on the tip of the knight’s Weapon was flowing Dragon Blood…
