Chapter 1344 - 1344 1329 Divine Court and Conference
Chapter 1344: Chapter 1329 Divine Court and Conference Chapter 1344: Chapter 1329 Divine Court and Conference “So, what was that arrogant guy bringing to you, Father?” Tiffany poked her head around curiously towards what was in Muria’s hands, intrigued mostly because she felt that the item in her father’s hand, apart from the information recorded, the attached aura, and even just the material itself seemed quite valuable.
“An invitation to the Pantheon Meeting,” Muria examined the precious material of the invitation in his hand whose content was sparse, his expression inexplicable.
“Though it’s said like that, it seems it should be a gathering held by three gods with powerful divine force.”
“A gathering by three gods with powerful divine force dares to be called a Pantheon Meeting? Ha, they even have to go around notifying other deities beforehand; calling such an outdated method a Pantheon Meeting is quite bold.”
Tiffany’s face showed disdain, as the system in Elasia’s Temple of All Gods regarding information utterly eclipsed that of the Cluster World, not even on the same level.
In Elasia, just by successfully ascending to become a deity, one would have a place in the Temple of All Gods, capable of communicating with any deity in the world, although whether the other party responds or not is another matter.
“Do not speak rashly.” Seeing his daughter displaying a prideful demeanor akin to looking down on rural gods, Muria scolded her, “The composition of worlds is different, thus leading to such differences; there’s nothing to be proud of.”
“Oh, then Father, what are these three powerful forces trying to accomplish by holding a meeting?” curiosity sparked in Tiffany’s eyes.
“To gain a say among the gods and then to divide the interests,” Michaela explained, looking at the invitation in Muria’s hand, her expression grave, “For us, this situation is very unfavorable.”
“That’s right, the strongest gods have already started to unite. They might likely want to use this meeting to establish an order dominated by them, ending the current chaos.”
Gladys also joined the analysis, her expression just as solemn as her mother’s.
“If this order really becomes established, then Father will have to face the hostility of all the powerful divine forces to achieve his goals.”
“Why make the atmosphere so serious? Being the enemy of all deities, isn’t that just natural? The path I have chosen is to suppress all deities and become the most powerful deity controlling the world. Before I succeed, all the gods are my sworn enemies.”
Muria looked at the four deities before him with grave expressions and smiled, “And you don’t actually think that a mere meeting could establish an unbreakable order, do you? Such a thought is too naive.”
“Indeed, this world doesn’t even have a Temple of All Gods. Communication between deities is far more complex than we imagine. Just trying to establish an order with one meeting is too challenging, nearly impossible,” agreed Gladys, understanding the point her father made, evident from a look at Elasia, where numerous gods stand and none could hold absolute sway.
Of course, the world of Elasia was more complex compared to that of the Cluster World, with epics and empires easy to intercede and influence the existence and collectiveness of deities.
But the Cluster World, although simpler, wasn’t significantly so; this place, after all, was a world, with a unique existence form but still home to numerous deities.
“So Father, what are you planning to do?”
“First, I’ll attend this so-called Pantheon Meeting and see what those powerful divine forces are up to.”
“One year’s time, it’s like the blink of an eye,” Tiffany said lazily.
“We can’t afford to waste time,” Muria murmured softly.
A year’s time, for deities, truly passed in a blink of an eye, but Muria had no intentions of wasting this time idly.
He asked the Feathered Fire God to ostentatiously bring his two subordinate gods into his Divine Palace, and instructed the Yellow Stone God and the Charming God among three other gods with inferior divine power not to conceal their tracks as they entered the Divine Palace.
Sometime later, Muria publicly declared the establishment of his divine system he ruled, the Nine Heavens Divine Court, embracing the Ten Major Domains under the rule of the Divine Court, which stirred considerable attention and discussion in the Earth Star Domain.
The focus of the gods, first and foremost, was naturally because the world saw again a divine system with two intermediate divine strength gods at the helm, the exposed members numbering eight, already a significant power that even powerful divine forces had to acknowledge.
Secondly, why the Feathered Fire God, previously in conflict with Muria, suddenly announced joining the Divine Court? What exactly was the reason behind it?
Was it possible that during the previous conflict, the master of the Nine Heavens Divine Court had forcibly subdued this intermediate divine strength deity in his own Divine Kingdom? If so, that would be truly unbelievable.
However, because such speculations were beyond the common knowledge of the gods, they naturally dismissed them, believing there was a hidden reason behind it. The mainstream view was that these two deities had formed a cooperative relationship to prepare for the upcoming Pantheon Meeting.
As for the peculiar name of this divine system, no deity paid much attention to it; it was just a name after all.
However, only Muria himself knew that the publicly announced name of the divine system he had established contained his ambitions, a pity that only he understood.
…
Pure white clouds drifted leisurely under the azure sky, carrying a sense of relaxation and content and a touch of sanctity. Below the blue sky, amongst the clouds, ten Floating Cities hung, where one could intermittently see angels with wings and massive divine beasts roaming, creating a harmonious and natural atmosphere.
At this time, in the largest city’s central area, an expansive Divine Palace stood majestically, with radiant divine light bursting forth, piercing through the heavens.
Within the Divine Palace, heroic giants clad in armor and wielding weapons stood guard, adding a degree of solemnity to this palace which actually wasn’t that huge.
“Divine Lord, the time has come,” said the Fire Feathered God, who had transformed into a human form with a pair of crimson wings at Muria’s suggestion, speaking to the master of the Divine Court seated at the highest position.
“Mmm,” Muria nodded, but his gaze fell on the deity of the Yellow Sand, “How is the oasis transformation project in the Yellow Sand Domain progressing?”
“The report to the Divine Lord, it’s almost at the end phase.”
The deity, who had always worried about the survival and development of his tribe, now reported cheerfully to Muria, truly appreciating the advantages of having a powerful backer. Although subjugated, the exchange was indeed quite good.
“Not bad.”
For deities, a year was indeed too short, but for ordinary creatures, a year was not short and could be used to accomplish many things.
Muria used this time to organize the domains under His rule, using divine power to intervene in each area’s terrain and climate, transforming harsh and dangerous areas unsuitable for ordinary life into habitable plains.
And among them, the most resource-draining project under Muria’s subordinates naturally involved the homeland of the Yellow Sand God’s tribe, a resource-scarce domain dominated by deserts and sandstorms.
Before the domains were interconnected, even though a deity could emerge from a resource-poor domain due to the faith of low-level commoners, bound by its own domain structure, a deity couldn’t transform the environment out of nothing, He couldn’t create water out of nothing.
But now with interconnected domains, the deity protecting the Yellow Stone Tribe had joined a much more powerful deity, a god who was incredibly benevolent to His own people, who ordered His legions to transform the world.
Now, connecting to other domains with abundant water resources, turning the original barren land into a plain was entirely achievable, especially when the deity was willing to lower His pride and extend a helping hand.
Although a year’s time had brought little change to this world and many plans were just getting started, Muria wasn’t in a hurry; He had many more years ahead to slowly realize His ideas.
Now Muria looked up, gazing outside the grand hall, an action that was merely superficial, as everything he needed to see had already been revealed in his heart by the Luo Tian Mirror rotating behind him.
“Let’s go, it’s time to depart for the meeting hosted by those three deities with powerful divine forces.”
The radiant golden light pathway crossed the sky at dawn, its brilliance making the sun, which had just begun to peek over the horizon, seem dim, leading the humans under the floating cities, who had resumed a peaceful life, to kneel fervently and offer their faith.
The two beings on the golden pathway paid no mind to the worshipping humans as they sped towards a famous mountain in the Earth Star Domain, where the meeting of the three powerful deities was to be held.
When Muria, along with the Fire Feathered God, traveled through a clearly temporarily created spatial tunnel and arrived at the meeting site, he found that the number of deities present was not large, even sparse, totaling less than twenty, including his group.
Although the number of deities was small, each one was formidable, with the weakest among them being of intermediate divine strength, which was the level Muria currently possessed. There were five with powerful divine forces, besides the three hosting the meeting, two more powerful deities had been invited.
Regarding the Great Divine Power, there were none, and Muria even doubted whether such powers existed in this world at all, given how scattered the various domains were.
In the following time, Muria watched as eight more deities of intermediate strength arrived at this temporary semi-plane, the chosen site for the Pantheon Meeting, all without exception.
In other words, only the deities who had reached this level were qualified to participate in this meeting that could influence the entire world’s course.
