Chapter 1336 - 1336 1321 If you can defeat me I will let you
Chapter 1336: Chapter 1321: If you can defeat me, I will let you… Chapter 1336: Chapter 1321: If you can defeat me, I will let you… As the battle continued, Muria gradually felt the pressure mounting, so he stealthily used some subtle Divine Power to strengthen himself. Indeed, as He could see now, the bird Deity before Him was a very perceptive Divine Being.
It didn’t take long for the Feathered Fire God to notice the new fluctuations of Divine Power emanating from Muria and become aware of them. Thus, Muria couldn’t help but begin to transform himself, aiming to achieve the goal of this action,
“Don’t you think you know too much?”
Muria, who had initially been contemplating how to end this operation in a relatively peaceful manner, now couldn’t suppress the murderous intent growing in his heart.
As Muria willed it, red as blood Divine Power covered the weapons in His hands, spreading an aura of killing intent that made even Deities shudder. At the same time, the Divine Wheel that had been slowly turning behind Muria began to shine with the Nine-Colored Divine Brilliance, colors magnificent in the eyes of Deities because they represented nine different types of Divine Power.
“How is this possible?”
When the Nine-colored Divine Light began shining, even the Feathered Fire God, who had maintained a calm demeanor and strived not to let Her Divine Power drive Her into a rage, could no longer control Her emotions. She looked at the Deity She was fighting with shock-filled eyes, full of incomprehension and disbelief,
“Why would there be a God like you?”
“Why can’t there be a God like me?” Muria retorted. As He spoke, He was already preparing to silence the existence before Him—His Divine Power was almost boiling over.
Within the Domain of the thirty-three Fixed Star Beads that revolved around Him, a vast and prosperous world projection descended, becoming increasingly real. The roaring of giants and the shrieking of God Dragons echoed, and an orderly array of war Legions appeared within the world projection, further weighing down the Feathered Fire God’s spirits.
“You actually plan to engage me in a God battle? Why? Just because I recognized your Divine Power?”
The Feathered Fire God simply couldn’t understand. What had She done to deserve an all-out divine battle with Him, when She was totally unprepared?
“Yes, that’s right. You know too much, and that is the root of your downfall.”
The weapon in his hand, now enshrouded with red Divine Power, struck down, and at that moment, the Feathered Fire God didn’t dare touch its edge with Her divine body. The various Divine Powers coating it were each powerful enough to easily overpower Her alone.
“You’re not of Powerful Divine Force, so why are you so confident that you can kill me?”
After the peak of Her anger came calm. The Feathered Fire God was somewhat baffled as to where Muria’s confidence stemmed from. Yes, He held many Divine positions, all of them top-tier, but while He had quality, the quantity was too little. Such an amount could trouble Her but was nowhere near enough to threaten Her.
“Yes. Today you are doomed,” Muria affirmed, willing to exert His full effort to cause a God with an Intermediate Divine Strength to fall, which wasn’t a difficult task at all.
“Of course, it’s not without a way out. If you’re willing to become my Subordinate God, then we can let bygones be bygones!”
“Subordinate God? I have the same Intermediate Divine Strength as you. What makes you think you have the right to make me your Subordinate God?”
Upon hearing Muria’s words, the Feathered Fire God, having gradually adapted to Muria’s attacks—sharp as a whirlwind and infiltrating even the smallest gaps—or rather, being able to withstand the damage thanks to the protection of the Divine Kingdom, asked somewhat mockingly.
“Same as me? Who gave you the courage to utter such words? If it weren’t for the protection of the Divine Kingdom, I would have already blasted you to pieces eight hundred times over.”
Muria snorted coldly, casting an unfavorable glance at the Divine Kingdom governed by Flames. When a Deity battled within their own kingdom, the rate of power depletion would become terrifyingly negligible in a short span of time.
“Arrogant fellow…”
“What’s so bad about becoming my Subordinate God? You’ve seen my divine office. Just give me the right opportunity and becoming a being of Powerful Divine Force is but an instant’s affair for me.”
“So what? With my current strength, no matter which powerful Divine Being I wish to serve as the main god, no one would refuse me.”
“Think farther ahead, bird god. Look clearly at the divine office I control. Do I not possess greater potential than those with Powerful Divine Forces?”
“…Potential and strength are two different matters. If potential can’t be transformed into strength, then it will always remain just potential. I’ve seen too many fallen geniuses.
Today, you are merely a supreme genius among Deities. If you can’t convert this potential into strength in a short time, once it’s exposed, you will inevitably attract the besiegement of numerous beings with Powerful Divine Forces.”
“Is that clear to you? And so what if it is? Just a besiegement. I have long been prepared for the worst-case scenario.”
In the midst of battle, Muria seized the chance to pick up the God-splitting Seal and recompressed it, sending down a shock larger than before, capable of refining Deities.
“Stop smashing!”
With the blessing of Earth Power, the God-splitting Seal, already as heavy as tens of thousands of mountains merged together, possessed the might to shake the foundation of a Divine Kingdom.
After being smashed only twice, the Feathered Fire God, feeling extremely uncomfortable, shouted for a halt. Though the Divine Kingdom could be demolished without causing any harm to Him, if it were damaged too severely, He would also be in extreme danger.
“Call me ‘Dad’… pah, call me ‘Divine Master,’ and I’ll stop,” Muria said, one hand supporting the Seal, the other grasping the Prison-suppression halberd, with thirty-three Fixed Star Beads revolving around Him, and the Luo Tian Mirror slowly turning behind His back, His body covered in golden Divine Light, appearing majestic yet solemn.
“Do you think this way of collecting Subordinate Gods is appropriate?”
“Of course it’s appropriate! There are essentially only two ways to collect Subordinate Gods. One is to willingly seek refuge and the other is to be subdued by force. And you have only two choices: first, resist to the very end and then be beaten to death by me alive; the other is to surrender obediently and become my Subordinate God.”
“I still don’t understand; where do you get the confidence to kill me?” The Feathered Fire God was utterly baffled.
“State your choice first. If you choose to resist until the end, then I’ll let you witness it,” Muria remained unmoved.
“But if I agree to become your Subordinate God, then I wouldn’t have the chance to see these methods you claim are even more formidable than Powerful Divine Force. In that case, I am willing to become your Subordinate God, on the condition that you can defeat me on your own strength in my Divine Kingdom.”
“Is that so?” Muria voiced in puzzlement, “I thought you would rather die than submit.”
“Defeat me first!”
“Simple.” No sooner had Muria’s words fallen than the world projection suspended behind Him thoroughly materialized, …
