Chapter 1337 - 1337 1322 The Goddess Blocking the Way

Chapter 1337: Chapter 1322: The Goddess Blocking the Way Chapter 1337: Chapter 1322: The Goddess Blocking the Way “You’re insane!”

Seeing the world projection behind Muria become substantial, the Feathered Fire God lost his color in shock, for his Divine Kingdom had experienced an unprecedented assault, far more intense than the initial impacts of the God-splitting Seal.

The impacts from the God-splitting Seal were mainly on the physical level, whereas now they were clashing on the level of Laws, and this kind of collision was ongoing, not ending abruptly like the God-splitting Seal.

“In that case, you have no advantage against me,” Muria’s vast world unfolded behind him, adjoining the Feathered Fire God’s Divine Kingdom.

The interface where this world, biased toward the Material World, met the Divine Kingdom controlled by the Divine Being was continuously flashing with chaotic thunder due to the discrepancies between their Laws, unleashing a might that even dragons would find heart-stopping.

Fortunately, one of the Divine Beings used his power to bind these thunders born from the conflict between the Laws, allowing his minions to rush through this connected passage without much impact.

“No, no, this isn’t a Divine Kingdom!”

After his initial shock, the Feathered Fire God realized that the world behind Muria was fundamentally different from his own Divine Kingdom; it was a higher level of existence, with more perfected Laws.

“This is a world, how could you possibly possess such a world?”

“Once you become my subordinate god, I’ll tell you whatever you want to know, but for now, just quietly accept the conquest of my legion!”

As the world he controlled descended, Muria also enjoyed the blessing of the world’s Laws, a power uniquely his and far mightier than the support from a Divine Kingdom.

Watching the legion pouring out from behind Muria, the Feathered Fire God felt somewhat helpless. From the beginning of the battle to now, he had been intentionally controlling the scale of the battle. Otherwise, even gods can become overzealous in too fierce a battle.

Now, the battle had spread from the two Divine Beings to their minions and worshipers. The war had escalated further, much to the Feathered Fire God’s displeasure.

Unfortunately, the initiative in the war was not in his hands; he could only passively endure everything Muria inflicted on him, and then resist passively.

“Hahaha, feeling the pressure? You could summon your subordinate gods; unless I’m mistaken, you’re still a god master,” Muria laughed loudly, as with the descent of his world, the support from the Feathered Fire God’s Divine Kingdom was gradually being erased. He had gained the upper hand and even had spare capacity to look after his own minions.

“This is between us; there’s no need to involve them.”

At this point, the Feathered Fire God had some enlightenment; this Divine Being’s initial target was probably him, and everything he possessed and could potentially retaliate with was all within the calculations of this Divine Being.

This fearsome Divine Being had outmaneuvered him, considered all possibilities, and left him no chance of overturning the situation. But he still wanted to resist.

After all, easily obtained things aren’t cherished, a simple truth he well understood. Moreover, this was both resistance and showcase.

“Lord, may I ask your honored name? I am willing to become your subordinate god.”

The Divine Being who had been ‘exploded’ three times finally lowered his prideful head, causing Muria, who was wondering if this Divine Being planned to fight him to the end, to lower his Prison-suppression halberd.

“I am named Muria.”

Muria revealed his real name.

“Lord Muria, I wish to follow you and become your subordinate god.”

“Hmm, hand over your god position [fire] to me, I’ll give it back to you later,” Muria nodded and made his demand.

“What did you say?” The Feathered Fire God, who had already prepared to submit, did not catch up at once.

“Why do you think I targeted you? Isn’t it because your god position overlaps with mine? So, don’t be surprised.”

“But…” The Feathered Fire God was at a loss for words, he truly had not anticipated that becoming a subordinate to the presence before him would cost so much. Had he known this, he would never have submitted, but now, with the situation as it was…

“Lord, may I refuse?”

“What do you think?” Muria looked down at the Feathered Fire God beneath his feet. This Divine Being already had the intention to submit, so although he had resisted fiercely for a while, he ultimately lost his fighting spirit and was flattened by Muria, unable to even get up.

Now in an awkward position because he was ready to surrender, both the worshiper legions and the minion legions didn’t suffer much. However, the Worshiper Legion belonging to the Feathered Fire God was in a suppressed state.

“I think, not!” Looking around, the Feathered Fire God realized that although he hadn’t suffered much loss up to now, just some drained divine power, once he reneged, all his achievements might vanish into the Void.

“Hand over your [fire] god position to me, that’s something I’m determined to obtain. I don’t care about the method of obtaining [fire], whether I kill you or you willingly offer it up, either will do.”

“I understand.”

Even though he knew that he could resurrect and start over even if he fell, given the chaotic state of the world currently, he feared that if he fell, he would truly be erased, never to see the day of resurrection again.

“That is right.”

Some time later, Muria returned the separated Divine Position [fire] to her, but by then, the master-servant relationship between the two parties based on the god position [fire] was established and was inseparable.

“My Divine Majesty, you possess so many Supreme Divine Positions, and are involved in the current chaos, what do you want to do?”

Very aware of her current power, the Feathered Fire God, who was granted favors by this being, asked her doubts. Although currently subject to the deity, their relationship had thus moved closer.

“Of course, it’s to obtain a complete Supreme Divine Position and ascend to the true throne of dominion!” Muria answered the question of this Subordinate God she could now somewhat trust.

“The throne of dominion!”

When the sun dispersing darkness and spreading light rose again from the horizon, the avatars of gods roaming the domain ruled by the Feathered Fire God finally saw the figure of that irascible great god once more.

Covered in Radiant Divine Light, his face was indiscernible. One could only feel his majesty as the godly figure trod the Golden Light path in the sky. Even the sun that had just risen could not obscure his brilliance.

“It doesn’t look like anything wrong at all. This lord barged into the Divine Kingdom of the Feathered Fire God without a hitch?”

“It’s unclear, the strength of the Feathered Fire God is not weak, and being in the Divine Kingdom, even if this lord is strong, it would probably be hard to do much to the Feathered Fire God.”

“So, the Feathered Fire God had a battle with this lord, right? Since it was a battle, then who won, and who lost? Or was it a draw?”

“If you’re so curious, why don’t you go and ask?”

“Why don’t you go and ask?”

“I don’t know what the real situation is. What if this lord suffered a disadvantage in the Divine Kingdom of the Feathered Fire God? Asking that would just be intentionally offending him, right?”

… By virtue of his strong power, and more importantly, the Luo Tian Mirror, Muria captured quite a bit of information exchanged among deities and also saw the curiosity other gods had toward him.

But not all deities revered Muria; some were simply curious about him, not fearing him at all.

“Did you wage war against the Feathered Fire God?”

Covered in a layer of faint golden divine light, the divine and dignified goddess blocked Muria’s path, her eyes filled with golden light and unclear, seemingly trying to see through Muria’s protective Divine Light.

“Hmm.”

Muria looked at the goddess blocking his way, responding in a flat tone without surprise, as it was nothing unusual for deities to probe him directly.

“Then did you lose, or did you win?”

The goddess dressed in skirt-style battle armor asked directly, not caring in the slightest about Muria’s demeanor, only interested in satisfying her curiosity.

“Won.” Muria maintained his flat tone, confident from the unobscured powerful aura of divine energy from the goddess that her Divine Positions had indeed overlapped again.

That was a normal occurrence, the stronger the divine beings, the more likely the overlap of Divine Positions, because only those strong Divine Positions could create mighty Divine Beings. Divine beings need not rely on talent or effort; these do not matter.

Based on the aura of this goddess, Muria determined that her overlapping divine domain was [War], and she also possessed [Victory] related to it, further evolving into [Hope].

“You’re that strong?” hearing Muria’s words, the goddess of war and victory became interested.

“Hmm.”

“In that case, how about an alliance with me?”

“Hmm?” Muria looked at the goddess in front of him with some surprise. This proposal was indeed unexpected but also reasonable.

“What? You think I’m not suitable? Not strong enough? Don’t worry, I am very strong. If you don’t believe it, I can fight you!”

“There’s no need.” Muria shook his head, declining, and chose to tear apart space to leave. Just coming up and proposing an alliance after two questions, who would dare accept such an ally? Wasn’t that courting discomfort?

“Hey, wait, what do you mean?” Seeing Muria avoid her, the unknown goddess of war became unhappy. She grabbed her war spear, tore through space, and blocked Muria again,

“Are you looking down on me?”

“Move aside.” Muria stared at the self-righteous goddess, his trademark Solar Divine Power surging within him, creating the silhouette of a sun behind him, overlaying with his Luo Tian Mirror.

“You first clarify, why won’t you ally with me?”
