Chapter 1332 - 1332 1317 Domineering Protective

Chapter 1332: Chapter 1317: Domineering, Protective Chapter 1332: Chapter 1317: Domineering, Protective “The devouring maw, right!”

In the Imperial Palace of the Yuguang Civilization, the avatar that Muria had descended confirmed with the Empress once more the news about finding the True God, and then the fleet was entirely annihilated.

“Yes, in the last recorded images that were sent back, only a vast mouth could be seen.” The Empress confirmed, although she was slightly puzzled in her heart; she did not understand why this being was confirming such matters with her.

“Hmm, rest assured, you are the race I once promised to protect and shelter. Any being that infringes upon your interests, no matter who they are, I am responsible and obligated to crusade on your behalf.”

“This… is no longer necessary, your deity,” hearing Muria’s words, a warmth stirred in the Empress’s heart, realizing what a kindly and compassionate being he was.

“According to your organization, the entire loss of the fleet would mean that at least nearly ten thousand Yuguang people lost their lives. Are you planning to just let this hatred go?” Muria gently inquired.

“The other party is a deity, we do not have the power for vengeance. All we can do is temporarily record our hatred and suppress the fire of hatred to avoid it clouding our minds.”

“You may not have the power to seek vengeance against a deity, but I do.”

“But this might also cause some negative impact on you, right?” the Empress tentatively and worriedly asked.

In her eyes, the being that annihilated the fleet was a deity, and the being that promised to protect the Yuguang Civilization was also a deity. The two parties were beings of equivalence, and even if there were differences in strength, their essence wasn’t vastly different. If one were to act against the other, there would surely be a corresponding price to pay.

“No, not at all,” Muria smiled and shook his head gently, then he pointed at the Empress, “You must remember your current identities, you are my proteges. Being harmed by another deity can also be seen as a provocation against me; I must respond accordingly. Do you understand?”

“…I understand,” the Empress nodded slightly confused, while internally wondering if this issue was really that severe for a deity? This didn’t align with what they knew about gods.

“Good, just wait, and I’ll take care of this matter for you.” After he spoke, the avatar that Muria had descended in accordance with spatial coordinates immediately dissipated in front of the Empress, making her think that everything she had just experienced felt like a dream.

“A god proficient in devouring,” Muria barely needed to think. According to the description by the Yuguang woman, the deity attacking their fleet was too distinctive to miss.

So, having waited half a day and seeing no deity coming to cause trouble, Muria decided to take the initiative. After consulting with the Sand God, this newly risen deity set out.

A radiant golden light spread from the center of the temple in the Floating City, crossing over the Earth Star Domain that was entering the dusk in a very short time, and this astonishing spectacle immediately energized the settled deities.

When these divine beings saw the origin of the golden light path, they became even more spirited. It was clear that this newly joined great deity was gearing up to cause trouble!

“What does this deity intend to do with such a grand display?”

“It looks fierce, probably not anything good. Maybe someone has offended Him!”

“Offended Him? How could that be? Before He appeared, none of us knew Him; how could we possibly offend Him?”

“Exactly,” a group of weaker deities nodded in agreement, thinking that Muria had some other reason for such an impressive arrangement.

But reality soon slapped these divine beings in the face, shattering their conjectures, yet these deities, just insulted, paid no mind and instantly entered a state of watching the drama unfold.

“Why me?” At that moment, the Void Singing God, seeing the being that had descended in front of him, was utterly bewildered.

Like the other gods, he had watched this strong deity swaggering about and before he could come around, this deity had appeared before him.

Such an unprepared encounter had stunned him, but he quickly responded, “Respected deity, may I ask what brings you here?”

“…” Covered in golden divine light, the indistinct form of Muria watched the polite Divine Incarnation bowing before him, feeling an urge to laugh, simply because the deity’s form was somewhat comical.

This deity also had a human-like form, but its specific features were far from human aesthetics. Its head greatly resembled that of a frog, and overall, it somewhat looked like a bald kappa, of course without the ridiculous bird’s beak.

“Do you remember the fleet that you devoured not so long ago?” After reminding himself to maintain basic respect for deities, Muria began to charge the god with its crimes.

“What?” The kappa… Void Singing God’s oversized head produced an even larger question mark, but it quickly reacted, recalling the mechanical creation that had invaded its believers’ territory not long ago.

“I have some impression.” The Void Singing God replied hesitantly, feeling a sense of foreboding.

“Uh-huh, understood. To punish without teaching is called tyranny, now you understand the reason…”

“Wait, my lord, I do not understand.” The Void Singing God, upon hearing Muria’s words, grew so agitated that it started hopping.

“The fleet you devoured belongs to a race under my protection, their queen has pleaded with me. So, take responsibility for the sins you have committed!”

Muria raised his hand, and radiant divine light separated from his body, forming a large hand enveloped with Sun Flame, reaching towards the Divine Incarnation in front of him.

“Your Majesty, I can compensate…” Before it could finish speaking, the avatar of the Void Singing God collapsed under the scorching Sun Fire, and then all fell silent.

“Tsk tsk, truly worthy of being a god possessing the Solar Divine Power, this is too domineering. Not even letting him finish speaking, just erased this incarnation of the Void Singing God.”

“He has the capital to be domineering, do you have it?”

“No. But on the other hand, this god seems to be standing up for the race he protects!”

“Looking at the Void Singing God, he himself did not even realize when he had provoked such a great god, truly pitiful.”

“That guy’s own indiscriminate devouring was bound to cause trouble sooner or later.”

In response to Muria’s actions, the divine beings discussed heatedly, most feeling his actions were tyrannical, while also labeling him as protective, which was exactly what Muria wanted.

“Still not enough, infringing upon the interests of the race I protect, merely offering a mere peanut that time can easily reassemble is not nearly enough.”

Seeing that his actions had elicited the response he desired, a slight, ambiguous smile appeared on Muria’s face as he continued his relentless pursuit, directly diving into the domain where the main body of the Void Singing God resided.

“Uh, is it necessary to chase so fiercely? Is assembling avatars free of divine power consumption?” A deity remarked as they looked at the now tranquil Earth Star Domain with a sigh.

“Perhaps for such beings, the depletion of divine power is trivial!”

“So, this being wants the Void Singing God to suffer substantial damage before letting go?”

“Probably, who knows.”

“Hmm, the God of the Void only possesses Inferior Divine Power, hardly a match for such a great god, but behind him stands a god with Intermediate Divine Strength, this situation will definitely result in someone standing up for the Void Singing God. There’s going to be a good show, it’s just a shame we can’t see it.”

“That’s not necessarily true, let’s follow them and see, even if those two beings see us it won’t matter, he surely can’t act against so many of us, right?”

“Makes sense, let’s go and watch the excitement, but remember to disguise your appearance and leave no trace, that god possessing the Solar Divine Power doesn’t seem to be very magnanimous.”
