Chapter 1281 - 1281 1267 You Have No Idea What Youre Facing

Chapter 1281: Chapter 1267: You Have No Idea What You’re Facing Chapter 1281: Chapter 1267: You Have No Idea What You’re Facing Boom!!!

The vibration, so intense that it nearly stopped the heart and caused the blood to freeze, suddenly rippled across the sky, and the moment this wave spread, three beings within a towering communication tower sensed it immediately.

“Seems like something interesting has appeared!” The golden-haired girl looked toward the source of the disturbance, her eyes narrowed slightly before returning to normal, and then she appeared utterly bored, without the slightest hint of interest.

“Since we’ve all felt it, there’s no need to play dumb. Which of you two, mother and son, will go check it out? Surely you wouldn’t expect me, an old man who has just gone through a great battle, to exert myself further!”

Dimos looked at his daughter and grandson. Now that he had hired hands, there was no need for him to deal with trivial matters himself, considering his senior place in the family hierarchy was established.

“Don’t look at me. Little Muria, it’s your turn.” The golden-haired girl’s gaze naturally fell upon the young boy beside her who was staring at her.

“Aren’t you coming with me?”

“What for? Feel it carefully. I’m now a weak and powerless girl with little strength. Going with you would only interfere and hold you back. It’s unnecessary.”

The girl standing atop the crystal sealing an Insect Queen spoke unconsciously, seemingly having forgotten who had just boasted to her father about her ability to suppress an Empress who could break free at any moment.

“Alright, I’ll go,” Muria ceased to argue. As the saying goes, being one rank higher can crush someone, but more oppressive than rank is seniority. Rank can change, but seniority remains immutable.

“Let’s go, to the point where the spatial fluctuation originated.” Muria arrived at the summit of the tower, leaped onto the head of the mountainous Red Dragon beneath him, and then gave orders to the Ancient Dragon who had just been staring eye to eye with a group of different-species Dragon People.

Roar!

The Ancient Dragon with brilliant red scales spread its wings wide enough to cover half the sky from the creatures below, rose into the blue heavens, and then transformed into an indistinct blur.

Ellis Kale flew silently through the sky with deceptive speed, the desolation below, a land void of any life, reflected into his vision.

In his perception, the land below had become a true wasteland, devoid of any useful resources, where the inheritance of life would end on this piece of earth.

He was acutely aware of the cause behind this devastation: any land the Insect Army controlled by the Queen had razed appeared just like this. No matter how fertile it once had been, after the swarms had passed, nothing was left but a desolate wasteland.

But such devastation was not enough to disturb him. What he truly focused on were the large and small craters dotting the land below. Around the edges of these craters, he could see the remaining fragments of limbs of the Battle Insect Race.

From these fragments, he could ascertain that they were the last traces left by one faction of the Insect Army under Queen Altis that had been completely annihilated.

“Just one person!”

The towering insectoid creature, after nearly surveying the entire land, came to a conclusion, then its eyes—which from a distance looked no different from those of a humanoid creature but were actually the compound eyes of the Insect Race—revealed a serious expression.

From the remaining traces on this land, he could confirm that the destruction of the Insect Army was not the work of any species or power, but of a single individual with unimaginably formidable power.

“Such power is very close to that of a ruler, no, it’s enough to contend with a ruler. But, unfortunately, it is not quite a ruler’s yet. The Queen’s attention has already been drawn here, and this being will ultimately become an existence just like me.”

Ellis sighed for the enemy he was about to face, well aware of how the Queen of the Insect Race would deal with a being so infinitely close to being a master of her domain.

“But where is he? Having vanquished Queen Altis, it’s impossible that he has fallen.”

Quickly, the bug person who descended from the Void found the spatial tunnel connecting to another domain, still oblivious to how special the world he was in really was.

He still thought he was in nothing more than an extremely unlucky medium-sized world that had been selected by the Queen of the Insect Race and then thoroughly plundered.

“Is this his attempt at hiding? Such a careless, prideful creature.”

Standing in the sky that seemed no different from the surroundings, Ellis, clad in a layer of heavy insect armor, stretched out his hand and pressed forward. Space rippled like the surface of water and then completely shattered, revealing the scenery on the other side before his eyes.

“I see, the world chosen by Her Majesty from the Dream Palace for Queen Altis had no danger at all. The real danger comes from this other world that, unbeknownst to us, connected to this one. Everything makes sense now.”

Ellis, feeling he had understood everything, then stepped into the opposing world, brimming with vibrant life.

“It was you who just caused the spatial disturbance, wasn’t it? But why are you alone?”

The young man mounted on the Red Dragon looked at the towering bug person with some surprise. He had already prepared himself to emulate his grandfather, to wipe out an entire Insect Army single-handedly, yet only one insect had come over from the other side, even though this insect seemed quite powerful.

“Are you the one who took Queen Altis? Here’s some honest advice, return the Queen as soon as possible, then take your tribe and run for your lives!”

“Hm?”

Startled by this seemingly somewhat benevolent warning, Muria couldn’t help but look back before sizing up the exceptionally tall bug person again, “Were you just talking to me?”

“Is there any other creature here worthy of communicating with me?”

“Oh, since that’s the case, let me give you one piece of advice as well. Inform your Queen behind you to run away fast, or she might end up dead.”

“Such ignorant remarks, you have no idea what you’re about to face.”

“Tsk, what’s with you? How come you keep saying what I want to say before I do? Do you have the Talent of foreseeing the future?”

“Ah, it seems that mere words are not enough to convince you of my sincerity; it looks like I’ll have to resort to force.”

In that moment, the bug person Ellis’s presence began to change, with a visible black and red aura radiating from his body.

“Under the Dream Palace Empress, the second-in-command, Broken Space Blade, Ellis Kale.”

“Introducing yourself, huh!” Seeing the bug person already taking up a combat stance, Muria tapped the Red Dragon beneath him and then instantly retreated ten thousand meters. In this fight, he did not plan to engage.

“Lord Muria of the Dragon Legion, ranked second, Auston Igneel.”
