Chapter 1213 - 1213 1200 The Idiot Who Stole the God

Chapter 1213: Chapter 1200: The Idiot Who Stole the God Chapter 1213: Chapter 1200: The Idiot Who Stole the God The divine beings who lifted up the Divine Throne, even if they fell, as long as Their name continues to be exalted within the world and there are believers who exist, then They possess the possibility of resurrecting from the long river of time.

“I can understand resurrection through a Blood Sacrifice,” but on such a small scale it seems rather petty.”

Muria gazed at the skyscraper that had become an altar under the covering of the Blood Array; for a human civilization that had developed to a sufficient level, the appearance of several hundred casualties at once was an extremely severe incident.

But to divine beings, a blood sacrifice of a few hundred mortals was laughable, even an Evil God who did not shy away from blood and gore would not accept a sacrifice on such a scale.

A deity that had fallen and desired resurrection would not accept it either, as a sacrifice of this scale would hardly be enough for even their consciousness to awaken once more.

“It’s probably the act of a believer trying to obtain the power of the spirits, or rather, a speculative individual.”

Muria touched his chin, making a judgement. Fanatics who crave the power of the spirits and believe themselves to be more intelligent than the deities, although rare, have never ceased to exist.

And there are more nonbelievers who wish to steal the power of the spirits than fanatics who desire it and seek to replace it.

Of course, these are the actions of geniuses and madmen, but for average people who long for the power of spirits, the most orthodox and least difficult method is faith.

“Let’s see if it’s a brain-dead believer or a mad fanatic!”

Muria looked at the skyscraper that had caused chaos in the city and took a step forward. When he reappeared, he saw people lying on the ground in pain and moaning.”

Red light spread in the space, and everyone who came into contact with this light collapsed weakly onto the ground. Through Muria’s eyes, one could see wisps of Qi being forcibly extracted from these people.

This was a horrifying scene, yet Muria remained indifferent, for he had seen too many such sights, even more brutal ones, and this was nothing to him.

“Save me!”

At Muria’s feet, a man dressed in a suit struggled to lift his head, looking up at the suddenly appearing handsome young boy as if he were a drowning man seeing a lifeline, pleading for help.

“Please take me away from here, I can give you everything I have.”

“Who? Is someone here to rescue us? I’m here! Take me away from this damned place.”

“Merciful Father God, have You heard my prayers? Thank you for Your protection!”

The man’s cry for help immediately drew the attention of the other victims in the office. In the face of life and death, they cast aside all concerns and also started calling for help.

In the face of these pleas, Muria’s expression did not change, yet a golden light burst forth from his form, the light spreading and dispelling the blood-colored light within the office, followed by moans and cries of surprise.

“What is this?”

“Father God above, have You sent Your saints to save us?”

“This is a miracle!”

Those mortals who were no longer having their vitality extracted and had better physical conditions managed to stand up and saw Muria floating in mid-air.

Even if the scene before them challenged their worldview, they had to accept the fact—for the pain suffered earlier and their current relief felt like the difference between hell and heaven.

“You are…” Just as someone plucked up the courage to ask about Muria’s identity, a black and red mist spread through the air, and with it, spiders as large as fists and as small as ants appeared.

These spiders suddenly surfaced on the walls and floor, with some attached to the ceiling even spitting out webs and descending, attempting to crawl onto Muria.

And as these insects approached within a certain range of Muria, flames would ignite upon them, reducing them to dust. In an instant, a circle of dust had accumulated around Muria.

“Giggle, what tyrannical power, not even able to get close. May I ask who this young sir might be? And why are you interfering with the ritual held by us Dark Believers?”

The black mist converged in front of Muria, accompanied by the distinctive ‘clack clack clack…’ sound of high heels approaching. Then, a seductive woman wearing a black, tight-fitting dress, a veil hiding most of her face leaving only her voluptuous lips visible, appeared.

The woman’s golden hair fell down from her head, most of it gathered by a black octopus-shaped hair clip, while a small strand curled around her fair neck and rested on her chest.

“Dark Believers? Sounds like the name of an organization, but why would you let someone like you, a small fry, deal with me?” Muria asked politely, wearing a smile.

This comment immediately caused the woman’s forehead to vein with anger. Being treated as a small fry upon her arrival—how could anyone endure that? “Small fry? Heh, seems you are quite strong, young sir. Let’s see what you can do!”

A dense black mist surged forth from the woman, spreading towards Muria. As the mist passed, the bodies of the spiders on the ground and walls swelled visibly to the naked eye with incredible speed.

“How dull!”

Muria stretched out his palm and pressed down lightly, and a surge of flames swept through like a storm. The spiders, no longer normal creatures, screamed shrilly from the burning and then turned to ashes.

“Such powerful strength you possess, young sir. I am no match for you, hehehe. More formidable foes will come to deal with you. I wish you luck. Farewell.”

Seeing her ploy to delay and surround him instantly destroyed by the raging flames, Lady Spider’s expression changed. After uttering some pleasantries, she prepared to leave.

“Farewell? You wish to face me a second time?” Muria chuckled softly, shaking his head.

Boom!

Using the power contained within his dragon body, a tangerine blaze filled the floor Muria was on in an instant and then exploded.

Clink!

Windows from the entire floor shattered, and the crisp sound of breaking glass rang out as shards fell below, causing another wave of terrified screams.

At this moment, Muria casually approached the charred human body lying on the ground, twitching. Her shapely curves would have been a potent temptation to any male before the destruction.

But now, no one would be interested in her. And the black spider headdress fused with flesh and blood on her head revealed her identity.

“You…”

Lady Spider struggled to open her mouth to speak, but a blast of flames that surged forth silenced her. Her charred body cracked open and then turned to nothing more than ash.

“I’ve always found that woman’s coquettish demeanor repulsive, yet I must admit her strength. To kill her in such a short time is quite impressive. But, how much power did you expend to do so, young man?”

Heavy footsteps approached as a towering man in armor, his bare skin a vibrant red and with bone protrusions that were not human, appeared before Muria.

“Buying time?” Muria glanced at the red giant and then looked upward. His recent maneuver was intended to take him directly to the rooftop, but it brought him to this level because space had been slightly shifted.

“What are you looking at, boy?”

An explosive sound of air tearing erupted as a massive hand axe whistled through the air towards Muria. But what happened next was unbelievable to the red giant.

“Not interested in playing anymore.”

A mere child of seven or eight gripped the blade of the axe with one hand. The snowy white blade turned red-hot in his grasp and then melted into molten iron, dripping from his fingertips.

“Kid, you’ve got some skill, and that makes me more interested,” the red giant sneered with a vicious smile. “I hope you last a while longer under my hand, let me savor it. I really like little kids like you.”

“Refining copper?” Muria’s eyelids drooped, and in the next instant, he was in front of the red giant, patting his forehead gently.

Bang!

The giant’s helmeted head split open instantly, the red and white substances splattered only to be enveloped and consumed by flames. Then, the giant’s headless body slowly fell.

“Let’s see whether it’s the revival of deities or the greed of mortals!”

Ignoring the panicked civilians behind him, Muria punched the ceiling above him, and his black fist’s pressure instantly destroyed all the concrete layers above.

Then Muria followed the path he had created, leaping upward. Any entity that dared to stop him was instantly blasted aside. This local supernatural organization known as “Dark Believers” had members of average strength at best, with the strongest barely reaching the Silver Tier.

Finally, he arrived at the highest level of the building, which had been converted into an altar. The level was a vast hall with walls knocked down, covering thousands of square meters.

Numerous charred skulls spewed out towering black flames, making up an endless landscape of skeletal bones. Above this land, fierce hurricanes circled, with twisted faces occasionally visible within, resembling the spirits of those who had met a tragic end.

This was the scene depicted in the hall, as if one were standing amidst the land of the dead. Muria, however, was unfazed. Although he found the Blood Array hidden within the mural somewhat agreeable, the arranger’s skills were terrible, not even capable of imitation.

“So, you broke through the blockade of my useless minions and made it here, being that conceals their face. I really don’t know what to say about this act of yours. Should I consider you lucky or unfortunate?”

A dry, harsh voice rang out, unable to hide its smugness. “To witness the birth of a True God is the greatest glory of your life. Sadly, you have offended this soon-to-be-born True God.”
