Chapter 1214 - 1214 1201 Demigod Son of the Golden Eagle

Chapter 1214: Chapter 1201: Demigod, Son of the Golden Eagle Chapter 1214: Chapter 1201: Demigod, Son of the Golden Eagle “True God?”

Muria, who originally felt indifferent, almost burst out laughing when he heard this presumptuous creature speak. It took immense confidence to believe one could deify oneself with the lives of just a few hundred mortals.

What were True Gods in his mind, anyway? At the very least, they were beings equipped with eternal life as standard. And yet here someone was, believing they could ascend to the Divine Throne with such a setup.

This, Muria thought, made a mockery of those legends in Elasia who had fought tooth and nail under the True God Church to develop faith and aspire to elevate to the Divine Throne.

“What are you laughing at?”

The originally expressionless, youthful face of Muria suddenly revealed a mocking smile, which immediately pricked the being hidden in the great hall.

In his eyes, he was only one step away from ultimate success, and this final step was about to be completed. At this moment, he wanted to find a sufficiently powerful being to share his joy and to witness his might.

“I’m laughing at you!” Muria’s smile grew even more unrestrained.

“What is there about me to laugh at?”

“I thought I would encounter a deity who was desperately hoping to return, or at the very least, a madman with extraordinary talent who scorned divinities. Instead, what I find is an idiot attempting to steal the majestic power of a deity.”

“Since you know I am stealing the power of divinities, dare you still scorn me and witness the wrath of the first True God since the dawn of the New World!”

The raspy, dry voice grew deeper and more authoritative. A seven-meter long bone spear with a helical pattern condensed in the great hall, thrusting straight at Muria.

“Such power, are you joking?” Muria, who was originally prepared to let his true self take advantage of this opportunity for some exercise, could only sigh in resignation. Under the gaze of the god-thief conducting the blood sacrifice, a fair-skinned, slender-fingered hand transformed into a dragon claw, which then shattered the bone spear with a swipe.

“What kind of monster are you, that you can withstand my divine power?”

The voice echoed in the hall, shock giving way to frustration. An aged figure appeared, hunched over, holding a skull staff, surrounded by dense blood mist that wouldn’t dissipate, and with a faint, overpowering aura that one could not look at directly.

“Hahahaha, you are going to make me die of laughter, you barbaric native. To boldly claim such power as divine power.”

Without waiting for Muria’s response, a raucous laugh sounded. Then, under Muria’s indifferent gaze, a being with the head of an eagle and the body of a man, winged with gold, stepped forth holding a Divine Spear, piercing through space. And so, the commanding pressure that made all things submit spread throughout.

“And what are you?”

Seeing his domain torn apart in such a domineering fashion by this non-human who barged into his “Deification Land,” the old man who was stealing divine power panicked completely, for he could feel the terrible power contained within the body of this bird-man.

“Ants who dare defile the deities, you should address me as His Majesty.”

The winged being, covered in a layer of golden light, reached out to grab the old man, towering above, and said with extreme pride, “I am the Son of the Golden Eagle, Giovanni!”

“I have never heard of you!” The old man, gripped in the nearly five-meter tall bird-man’s hand, tried to struggle, but sadly found that as soon as his power left his body, it was erased by the being before him. He couldn’t cast any spells, and yet he retained his last bit of defiance.

“A barbaric native of a Different World, of course, wouldn’t have heard my name.”

“You are a True God from a Different World!” The god-thief old man’s eyes widened as he suddenly realized that his own act of stealing godhood must have attracted this being.

“No, I am a demigod. The power of a true god is beyond your imagination, and I still have a long way to go,” the prideful demigod now displayed extreme humility.

“How is that possible? You clearly possess divine power, how can you not be a true god?” the old man said, unable to comprehend.

“Of course not, who told you that possessing divine power makes you a deity? Idiot.” The demigod, the son of Golden Eagle, Giovanni, asked with disdain, “Only beings like my father, who exist for eternity with boundless strength, are true gods.”

“True god…” The old man sighed deeply, but before he could express his lament, the sound of bones shattering rang out. The demigod from a different world clenched his hand, brutally crushing the life out of the old man who had been plotting for who knows how long to steal divine powers.

Golden light burst forth from the palms of the son of the Golden Eagle, and the impure flesh was vaporized by the light, leaving nothing behind. Then, the demigod turned his head to look at Muria, who was quietly watching everything unfold.

“Your turn, peculiar mortal. In the presence of the great son of the Golden Eagle, will you still continue your clumsy facade? Why not reveal your true form?”

“Let me release my true form?” Muria observed the rampaging child of the divine being with amusement and couldn’t help but laugh.

Just then, a piercing wail came through, followed by violent explosions and flames that swept through with the blast wave, eager to tear and destroy everything.

“A world without deities turns out to be like this, where mortals have developed their killing techniques to such an extent that they can even pose a threat to the bravest warriors under my command. Not bad.”

Amidst the bombardment of dozens of bombs, the unmoved demigod expressed praise for the destructive power of the human army’s attack, but in a blink, he displayed the arrogance befitting a child of a god,

“And that’s as far as it goes. Ants of a different world, prepare to suffer the consequences of attacking a great demigod. You should learn how to respect the noble beings with the bloodline of a true god flowing inside them!”

The half-eagle, half-man demigod, with wings on his back, swept his long spear, instantly eradicating the remaining waves of explosions around him. His body, which was perfect to some degree, was suddenly exposed at the top of the blasted skyscraper.

Thus, the demigod from another world made an undisguised appearance in this world dominated by technology, facing the emergency forces of a metropolis.

And by his side, sharing the panicked gaze of the humans, was a black dragon, sitting elegantly in a crouch.

Compared to the dozen armed helicopters surrounding him, the majority of the demigod Giovanni’s attention fell on the black dragon with its scales adorned with radiant golden patterns.

In his eyes, those steel contraptions of mortals were utterly insignificant, posing no threat to him.

“So this is your true form? It looks well suited for warfare. Lucky native of a different world, the great son of the Golden Eagle grants you an opportunity. Submit to me, become my battle beast to drive, and this will be the glory of your life!”

The black dragon body that Muria remodeled caught the eye of the demigod from another world with just a glance. Thus, the not-so-discerning demigod naturally came up with an unsuitable idea.

“You, are dead!” Hearing such arrogant words from the birdman opposite, the black dragon cocked its head, and its more than ten-meter-long dragon body vanished on the spot. After leaving an afterimage, it appeared in front of the birdman, its slender dragon tail whipping out like a divine whip, striking the demigod’s chest.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The demigod, cloaked in golden radiance, was immediately sent flying by the strike, slamming diagonally into the ground. On his way, he pierced through skyscraper after skyscraper, as fragile as blocks of tofu.

“Hahahaha, such a wild force, I like it. Only such a beast is worthy of becoming the war pet for me, the son of the Golden Eagle, to seize endless glory for me.”

Radiant golden light rose from where demigod Giovanni had fallen, thousands of meters away from Muria, soaring into the sky. The majesty of the demigod spread throughout the metropolis of millions, and the sky churned with clouds, forming an enormous, terrifying vortex.
