Chapter 1179 - 1179 1166 I am a Pacifist

Chapter 1179: Chapter 1166: I am a Pacifist Chapter 1179: Chapter 1166: I am a Pacifist Boom!

Epics, who believed his demands were extremely reasonable, was unfairly attacked. After the initial surprise, he retaliated on the spot. The massive Steel Planet shifted, as if it would engulf everything, and a burning, dazzling light shot out from it.

“Ha!”

Muria’s lips curved up in a smirk upon seeing Epics fight back defiantly. He reached out with his right hand, clenched his fist tight, drew it to his abdomen, and then struck out. The pure fist radiance, carrying the aura of destruction, surged forward mightily, colliding with the blow from Epics, who controlled the Steel Planet.

The golden fist radiance and the incandescent light stream collided. In the moment of contact, all was silent, then, like the beginning of the heavens and the earth, a thunderous roar erupted, followed by an assault that spread through the Void like a hurricane.

For the beings present, such an impact was akin to a gentle spring breeze, directly ignored. The God of Whales and the Evil God with its unknown visage watched the battle between two beings of the same level, especially the Evil God, whose nearly a hundred pupils of different colors and sizes glinted with deep greed and desire.

The Evil God, who reveled in the feeling of devouring all things and strengthening itself by consuming the remains of ruined worlds, longed to swallow anything that could make him even more powerful, including beings of his own caliber.

Although Muria had sensed the malicious gaze behind him, he chose to ignore it for the time being, focusing instead on the still-unseen Epics.

Before the aftershocks of their clash could settle, Muria took a step forward. Distances that spanned worlds shrank to mere inches beneath his feet, and he appeared in front of the Steel Planet.

While Titan’s true form, nearly three hundred meters tall, was impressively majestic compared to ordinary creatures, it seemed quite ordinary next to Epics.

And as he was confronted by a planet-level creation forged by the extraordinary and technology under the dominance of an Epic, his stature seemed even more insignificant.

But though Muria’s true form was minuscule compared to the Steel Planet, the aura radiating from his body had Epics, the controller of the entire Steel Planet, fully prepared for battle.

Muria lived up to this attention. He gripped the Spear of the Sun Chaser, which had been bathed in the blood of an Evil God, and the Titan Thunder Power most compatible with him and the Dragon King’s Dragon Flames merged into it, gathering upon it, transforming it into the most radiant and brilliant light in the Void.

This action wasted no time, and nearly in one breath, when the Spear of the Sun Chaser turned into a beam of light stretching thousands of meters, he hurled it at the core of the Steel Planet.

The beam of light hadn’t even fallen when the special spirit steel, engraved with densely packed runes as tiny as ants, couldn’t withstand the fierce temperature upon it and melted into crimson-gold molten metal.

Boom!

When the beam of light struck the Steel Planet, half-melted, shattered metal debris of different shapes and sizes splattered, turning into crimson-gold meteors in the dark Void, resplendent and spectacular.

Like a chasm in the Abyss, a massive crack spread from the point where the beam of light struck out in all directions of the Steel Planet. Golden flames surged within, threatening to burst forth and tear apart the surface of this giant metal-constructed celestial body, causing secondary damage to the Steel Planet.

However, the calamitous scene did not occur, for the being controlling the planet took action. Blue-golden arc light jumped across the planet, and with its emergence, the trembling planet stabilized, as if being imbued with life, no longer a vast inert object.

“The Law of Controlling Metal!”

Even though the outward manifestation seemed somewhat similar to the Thunder Power he controlled, Muria recognized the essence of this blue-golden arc light at a glance.

This was a kind of power inclined towards support, seemingly with no direct damaging effect on the target, but able to enhance metal materials.

“No wonder it’s like this.” Muria immediately understood some of the Epic’s power essence. He had been wondering why this Epic was so ostentatious, carrying such a huge planetary fortress with him.

This kind of auxiliary power wouldn’t be very notable in a civilization that hadn’t developed yet but in a Technology Civilization that had developed firearms, this nature of power could be quite terrifying.

Of course, this terror was only relative. At least Muria wasn’t intimidated. For a being that controlled such Laws, knowledge equated to power.

“Let’s see who’s stronger! O greedy one!” Muria’s grin widened, exuding an air of arrogance. He reached out, and the Spear of the Sun Chaser, deeply embedded in the planetary fortress, flew back to him, clasped in his hand.

“How was your weapon forged? Why can’t my power affect it?”

A voice full of doubt resonated within the Steel Planet. Despite being in battle, and having become enemies, it did not hinder him from asking, raising his unknowns.

“This is both my weapon and my body!”

“I see, so it was forged through the Blood Sacrifice Method? No wonder I couldn’t influence it, but if I can make you fall here, then I will be able to control it.”

“Who gave you the courage to speak to me in such a manner?” Titan’s gaze, amidst breaths where wind and thunder surged, fixed on the passage in front of him that he had struck, creating an unknowable depth filled with molten iron. Occasionally, amidst the dripping molten iron, half-melted metal scorched to a crimson gold color could be seen.

“An entity with an extreme thirst for battle. I was merely stating a simple fact.”

Even if the main weapon that it relied on for battle was destroyed, the being within the Steel Planet still carried arrogance in its words, for compared to the massive Steel Nova, Muria’s strike was no more than a superficial wound.

Of course, given the power Muria now displayed, which could control metallic beings, including Metal Creatures, it was believed that if he engaged in a protracted battle with Muria, there was a high chance his planet would be forcibly dismantled.

“However, before you continue battling with me, I would like you to consider carefully. What’s the reason for your battle with me? If it’s to demonstrate your strength through me, then you have already done so.”

“Huh? Are you trying to make me bow my head?” The being, whose words sounded conceited, had such a sudden shift in tone that Muria was caught off guard.

Is this giving in? He had just begun to fight, and now it was to end? Was this too restrained? What about the face of the Epics? After being smashed into such a huge hole, he actually didn’t want to fight anymore.

Of course, it could also be said that from the beginning, this being never had the desire or impulse to fight against him. Although his words were disrespectful, it was Muria who struck first.

“Not at all!” What was an admonition beneficial to both sides was perceived as submission, and the being controlling the massive mechanical planet immediately refused.

“Since it’s not, then let’s continue to fight.” The Dragon Snakes of Thunder swirling around Muria once again submerged into the Spear of the Sun Chaser in his hands, which he gripped as he aimed a thrust at the giant artificial celestial body. Simultaneously, thousands upon thousands of blazing light beams erupted from the surface of the planet, converging on Muria, seemingly determined to obliterate him on the spot.

In the core of the combat, shockwaves powerful enough to seriously injure an Epic or even leave incurable wounds spread out. Occasionally, beams of light capable of changing the world’s geography flew by.

Those were the attacks of the mechanical god. The vast majority of the residual waves spilling out in the battlefield came from him, whereas Muria’s attacks all precisely struck the mechanical planet.

With such a large target, it would be difficult not to hit. Muria’s strikes occasionally caused half-molten metal meteors, which were planet components that had been destroyed and scattered by his attacks….

Even though he was in combat with a peer, Muria still maintained considerable restraint. After all, there were two other Epics watching. If he appeared too strong, being ganged up on was not out of the question.

It’s also possible that these two Epics would join with him to surround this epic controlling the Steel Planet, beating a downed enemy, but Muria didn’t want to bet on these possibilities. Trusting the outcome of events to others is extremely foolish.

As a being of immense power, he was accustomed to controlling all changes within his grasp, rather than betting on the unknown.

“Alright, Dragon God of the Exotic Realm, and mechanical god, having clashed up to now, you should both understand each other. There’s no need to keep fighting.”

Just as Muria struck, creating another massive crater on the Steel Planet, taking advantage of Muria’s slight pause as he gathered strength for another strike, the god of whales intervened.

“Of course, no one likes to fight. I am a pacifist,” said Titan with a calm demeanor, surrounded by numerous weapons with an air of lingering menace. Beside him were chunks of metal wreckage, floating and revolving, a testament to the brutality of the recent brief battle.

“But it was he who initiated the conflict, heaping unwarranted criticism on me, making unreasonable demands, and then I retaliated accordingly.”

Muria pointed at the Epic that appeared terribly damaged and seemed to have fallen silent, indicating that his retaliation was based on a position of justice and reason.

Upon hearing Muria’s words, both the Evil God and the god of whales fell into silence, unsure how to comment. According to their rules, the demands recently made by the mechanical god were not excessive, even quite reasonable. However, his tone was indeed indifferent. To say that he deserved a beating for it could be justified, considering his strength wasn’t as great as the others’.
