Chapter 1180 - 1180 1167 Set Aside Disputes Joint
Chapter 1180: Chapter 1167: Set Aside Disputes, Joint Development Chapter 1180: Chapter 1167: Set Aside Disputes, Joint Development “Of course, a cease-fire is acceptable, but as compensation for the offense to me, he must offer restitution,” declared the being who had gained the upper hand in a brief skirmish, making an outrageously presumptuous demand with brazen arrogance.
“What do you want me to use as compensation?” after detecting that Muria had accessed a higher tier of power during their brief skirmish, the God of Mechanized Warfare conceded.
He still wanted to reap benefits from this wondrous land where two realms merged. He did not wish to leave, but now it seemed that unless he offered something, this being would not permit him to stay.
“What do you have? Bring out the items you’ve collected, those you think are valuable, and let me have a look,” Muria continued his uncompromising demands.
Yet, to his surprise, the being known as the God of Mechanized Warfare conceded again, far more than Muria had anticipated.
After all, his title sounded highly aggressive, and it wouldn’t have been surprising if they had fought again over his unreasonable demands.
“It’s possible.”
Fluctuations in the airspace emerged, one after the other, items shrouded in radiant divine light or plain and unornamented, resembling objects randomly picked up from the gutter, appeared before Muria.
Muria, of course, wouldn’t underestimate these seemingly mundane items. The principle that divine objects are often unremarkable was something he understood, and similar objects were plentiful in his treasury.
“Choose one as compensation for my offense to you,” the thoroughly submissive God of Mechanized Warfare said after displaying his collection. It was clear without thinking that he definitely had some hidden treasures he hadn’t brought out.
Muria did not push too hard, considering the situation from the other’s perspective, and before making his choice, he glanced at the recently intervening God of Whales and the quietly observing Evil God of Hundred Eyes.
He strongly suspected that one or both of them had covertly communicated with the God of Mechanized Warfare, proposing that he back down; otherwise, such inexplicable concessions would be too strange.
After speculating about the reasons, Muria began selecting from the treasures collected by an epic collector in front of him. Although he wanted to declare that he wanted all, Muria knew that wasn’t realistic.
He was stronger than the God of Mechanized Warfare, beyond any doubt, but also not strong enough to kill or seal him on the spot. Frankly, his power was in a very awkward position right now.
He didn’t fear any epic of the same level, but an epic of his level, even if unable to gain an advantage in a fight, also shouldn’t fear him. If he can’t beat them, couldn’t he just run? Unless it was some newly promoted epic rookie.
…
“Now that you have reconciled, let’s discuss how we shall divide the output of this domain,” suggested the God of Whales, with the sound of tides surging around him, as that was his current primary concern.
The arrival of the God of Mechanized Warfare and the Evil God of Hundred Eyes meant he didn’t need to clash with Muria yet could naturally divide the benefits due to his strength.
“Before discussing, we should reach a basic agreement,” proposed the Evil God, surrounded by the lament of ten thousand spirits, “This space is already filled with enough celestial beings; we don’t need any more.”
“That goes without saying. This miraculous land doesn’t need a fifth celestial being,” the God of Whales agreed, after all, it was merely the output of two medium-sized worlds merging; four epics were already a lot!
Upon hearing the proposal from the Evil God, whom he disliked, Muria also nodded slightly. The intent of the Evil God of Hundred Eyes was clear: the four epics should unite to repel any other epic drawn here by the fluctuations of the Law.
“If that’s the case, then the four of us have reached the most fundamental collaboration. Whoever the fifth might be, we will unite to turn them away.”
“Exotic Realm’s Dragon God, as the first celestial being to arrive here, you must have explored this land of miracles. Though it seems unlikely, I must still inquire, are you willing to share the intelligence you’ve gathered with us?”
“Knowing it’s unlikely, why do you still harbor such unrealistic expectations?” Muria looked at the azure giant fish with a perplexed gaze,
“As much as I hate to say it, none of the three of you is a match for me; none of you possesses the strength to make me yield.”
“Insufferably arrogant one, if it weren’t for this miraculous land, do you think the God of Mechanized Warfare would have conceded to you just now?” the Evil God, responsible for wreaking havoc in countless worlds, glared at Muria with a myriad of eyes filled with deep malice.
“Don’t get too smug,” we indeed cannot suppress you individually, but when we join forces, can you still stand here?”
“Three together do not necessarily equal three. If you think you can suppress or even defeat me by joining forces, then you are welcome to try.”
Muria stood tall, staring at the Eye Monster whom he despised the most among those present; if not for the special circumstances, he would have already attacked this Evil God.
World-destroying Evil Gods naturally incited his disgust and hatred. Were he to travel through the Void and encounter one, he wouldn’t need to talk; drawing his sword to strike would be his first choice.
“Cough, if you don’t want to, let it be. There is no need for conflict over this,” seeing that Muria, who called himself a pacifist, hardly spoke a sentence that wasn’t about battle, the mild and naive Spirit of the Whale once again played the peacemaker.
Really, it was somewhat hard for it to understand how someone as belligerent as Muria had ascended to the Epics. It must be an immense background that allowed him to survive growing up without being killed.
“You see, I don’t want this, I am a pacifist at heart, it’s this deformed monster that’s been provoking me.”
As for the Spirit of the Whale, who had never conflicted with him and had shown no intent to fight, Muria’s attitude softened slightly. After all, whether it was the God of Armed Combat or the Eye Monster, he had already successfully made enemies of them.
No matter what he did next, the three Epics he first encountered upon his travel through the Void had been turned against him. While he naturally opposed the Eye Monster’s faction, the Eye Monster didn’t see it that way.
World-destroying Evil Gods never thought there was anything wrong with using destruction as a means of advancement, so it would never expect a being it encountered in the Void, with whom it had no prior connection or cause, to see it as a mortal enemy.
“Deformed monster?” Upon hearing Muria’s description of him, the Evil God, synonymous with fear, calamity, and destruction in the eyes of ordinary people, exploded with rage.
The Evil God, roaming through the Void, had never considered itself ugly. In its own aesthetic, its true form was perfect.
“Don’t you realize how ugly you are? Don’t you know you look disgusting?”
Muria feigned surprise as he observed the Evil God. Watching it grow more grotesquely misshapen amid its anger and the swirling Black Mist, he remarked, “Merely by appearances, you inspire a compulsion to erase you.”
“Enough is enough,” seeing Muria taunt the Eye Monster relentlessly, the Spirit of the Whale was somewhat speechless. This was hardly the behavior of a pacifist.
“Hmph, your race is completely different from mine. Naturally, our perceptions of beauty are worlds apart. You find me deformed and ugly, and I see you the same way.”
The world-destroying Evil God beheld the three beings, uncontaminated by the Curse Black Mist, and suppressed the rage in its heart. None of its kind were here, so it must remain calm and restrained.
“I’ll say this last thing,” Muria said, his frustration evident as he turned to look at the Spirit of the Whale before turning his gaze back to the Eye Monster,
“Didn’t you hear how the Spirit of the Whale just addressed me? Dragon God. Half of my bloodline belongs to dragons. If you don’t know what a dragon is, let me explain briefly: dragons possess a cross-racial aesthetic sense.
Simply put, when I find you ugly, basically no normal creature would find you attractive. So, do you understand? Disgusting monster!”
“I…” Just as the Evil God, utterly enraged and ready to take on Muria, was about to start a battle, he heard the voice of the God of Armed Combat advising calmness, largely repeating what he just had admonished the God of Armed Combat about himself.
“Meaningless disputes and battles, I won’t engage in them with you. Let’s discuss how to divide now,”
After glancing at Muria, the Eye Monster’s nearly a hundred large eyes shifted away, too weary to look at him any longer. The God of Armed Combat had shared a very plausible theory with him: this being, whose origin was unknown, likely possessed a capacity to grow stronger through battle, which would explain his recent behavior.
“The simplest, most fair way to distribute would be each according to their abilities. Let’s not talk about other methods, for none of us would hand over the divine items we find to others,”
Seeing that peace was finally restored at the scene, the Spirit of the Whale quickly shared the thought it had been considering for a while.
“Collecting divine items according to each one’s ability is fine by me. My only question is, is the Dragon God too far ahead of us?”
“I’m luckier than you, do you have a problem with that?” Muria asked the God of Armed Combat, his confidence buoyed by being the strongest present, “Even if you do, keep it to yourself.”
