King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 1178 - 1178 1165 Believe It or Not Ill Tear It Down
Chapter 1178: Chapter 1165: Believe It or Not, I’ll Tear It Down For You Chapter 1178: Chapter 1165: Believe It or Not, I’ll Tear It Down For You “?” Muria’s mind filled with a great confusion. Did the giant fish in front of him really know what it was saying? What did it mean by having no impact? Was his bloodline such a cheap thing?
He could somewhat grasp the giant fish’s idea of wanting to combine his bloodline with its own to create a more superior, more perfect minion. And the fish’s next words confirmed that his guess was not wrong.
“I need an extremely perfect, extremely powerful child to rule my territory, my vassals,” the whale epic revealed the reason behind its astonishing declaration.
“Aren’t you enough on your own? What do you need my bloodline for?” Muria subdued the blood qi around him. His battle intent had been thoroughly exhausted by the fish’s astonishing declaration.
“No, the progeny produced by myself are not powerful enough, and do not meet my expectations. At most, they can only manage the further weakened power I wield. How can such power rule my territory?”
To some extent, an epic is an ultimate life form that has achieved perfection in all aspects, not to mention its ability to freely alter and reshape its life form while controlling source power.
Being hermaphroditic, reproducing alone, or what have you, are trivial for an epic. This epic-level giant fish could entirely produce offspring without depending on any male creature.
Of course, the progeny birthed this way inevitably cannot inherit the formidable power of the parents—a fundamental rule within the Void.
The children born of an epic, unless overly doted on by being granted source power at the moment of their birth—enabling them to comprehend the World Laws and be born an epic—are at most only considered legends, regardless of how powerful their parents might be.
Divine Beings are the same. The offspring of a god, at the moment of their birth, unless their father or mother splits their own divinity, no matter how powerful, are only demigods carrying the deity’s blood, categorized as legends.
However, legends vary, and some excessively mighty legends, under special circumstances, can achieve the extraordinary feat of God Killing.
“You can use source power,” Muria offered the fish a simple, crude but effective suggestion.
“I don’t have spare source power to waste,” the fish conveyed its meaning simply and openly, showing no hesitation in voicing its stinginess with source power.
In its view, using source power on its minions or progeny was a complete waste.
By contrast, finding a partner of equal:or greater strength, obtaining their bloodline, and reproducing through the means of sexes to produce the perfect offspring, appeared to be a very cost-effective option.
“That’s your problem, it has nothing to do with me.”
“So, God from an Exotic Realm, you do not wish to have children with me?”
“Of course.” Although from a dragon’s perspective this fish might be considered an exceedingly perfect being, one that could make dragons’ blood boil, Muria, as a Titan and a humanoid creature, suppressed this subtle thought with rationality.
“Why? I can sense that your bloodline has a very strong compatibility. You possess a dragon bloodline!” the whale epic inquired curiously. To this epic, undoubtedly, Muria was the most unique being it had encountered in its wanderings through the Void.
“I already have a spouse. I need to be responsible to my wife, maintaining loyalty to our sacred marriage,” Muria offered an answer that seemed quite ludicrous in the eyes of an epic transcending all beings.
However, contrary to Muria’s expectations, the fish, after hearing this, and oddly affirmed him, “Then, in that case, I withdraw my request.”
“??” Initially, Muria was confused, but then he quickly understood. The fish must have interpreted marriage as a type of contract, seeing Muria’s refusal to mate with it as adherence to the terms of this contract, thus earning his approval.
“Then, God from an Exotic Realm, since you have refused my request, please give me a reason to leave,” the fish that had just expressed appreciation for Muria’s behavior immediately changed its approach, now seeking favors from him.
Seeing the fish’s posture, Muria simply raised the Prison-suppression Halberd in his hand. He had realized that epics in the Void seemed to follow the principle of share and share alike, albeit only among epics of the same level.
So this fish, always trying different methods to extort favors from him, seeing this miracle in the Void, this place where divine artefacts from two world realms could be conceived, insisted on not leaving empty-handed, ensuring its trip was worthwhile.
“You insist on fighting with me? God from an Exotic Realm, you must understand that in this domain of the Void, I’m not the only deity. Your battle with me would attract the attention of more heavenly gods.”
Seeing Muria lift the weapon in his hand, ready to engage it in combat, the epic whale seemed to kindly remind him.
Upon hearing this, Muria gripped his battle halberd tighter, his desire for greater power reigniting within him. Once he ascended to the Pseudo-realm, this fish would dare not mutter in front of him or even come close.
In the face of such provocation and threat, the only thing he needed to consider was whether to catch this fish to use as a mount, or to chop it into pieces for soup, rather than being hesitant and full of concern as he was now.
But soon Muria no longer needed to struggle between deciding whether to fight the giant fish or to bribe it with something.
For there emerged two forces from two directions in the Void, and sensing these, Muria glanced at the seemingly gentle giant fish, then sheathed his weapon and sat down cross-legged.
If it were only one epic, he might have thought about clearing the area himself, but when the number of epics drawn in climbed to three, he could let go, there was no need to stubbornly resist.
Otherwise, he would be forcing these three epics to join forces and besiege him, getting him cleared from the scene prematurely.
“God from another realm, why do you no longer wish to fight?” Seeing Muria in such a laissez-faire state, the huge whale deity stirred its massive fins, bringing with it an immense amount of vapor, slowly swimming out from the Void. It had now abandoned the idea of mixing in for some easy benefits and leaving, with four epics present, it was enough for it to fish in troubled waters and gain more.
Muria glanced at the big fish making snide remarks, said nothing, but he had already noted all of this, and once he ascended to the Pseudo-realm, he would let this fish know what a barbecue grill was.
“Land of Conception!”
The shrill sound came from the distant Void, the wails and curses of billions of creatures facing death, the vast power of curses spreading, a being enveloped by the Curse Fog approached, its myriad of differently colored eyeballs surveying the two slowly merging worlds, its gaze filled with greed.
But it also saw Titan sitting cross-legged in the Void, and the whale beside him carrying the water of the ocean, so it made no rash moves, instead turning its gaze to the fourth epic arriving late.
“A technology civilization capable of navigating the Void? Or perhaps an extraordinary civilization elevated through the power of epics? Maybe it’s a combination of both!”
Muria looked toward the fourth epic drawn here, unable to discern its specific form, because this epic was steering a massive steel creation— a planet-level fortress.
Muria could feel the life force in this steel creation as vast as the stars, including a central force that only an epic could possess, but beyond that, he could not detect anything specific, though he was certain it was not strong.
“Who among you noticed this Land of Conception first?”
The indifferent Soul Sound of the epic steering the steel planet swept through the Void.
“I came alongside you, you saw it.” Dry and hoarse, mingled with a power that could instill fear in creatures, the bizarre Soul Sound sounded, the several hundred eyes of an Evil God obscured by the World Curse Fog looked towards Muria and the big fish.
“I was the second to arrive.” The whale deity’s Soul Sound, gentle like a whale song, rang out.
“Since that’s the case, then you were the first to arrive, how many curious items have you harvested? Bring them out, we three share them.”
The will as hard and cold as steel stared at Muria, the massive planet-level fortress rotated, uncountable weapons at this moment locked onto the not-so-large Titan Body of Muria.
“Keep threatening me with your big spherical toy, and I’ll dismantle it right now, believe it or not?”
Muria’s indifferent gaze fell upon the planet-level fortress, locking eyes with the being hidden at the center of the fortress, his domineering will transformed into a golden tide, sweeping fiercely across the steel fortress, causing waves in the Void.
Boom!
For mortal things, will can only act upon oneself, but for epics, it can serve as a regular mode of attack. The materialized will transformed into a golden tide crashing onto the planet fortress, countless steel machines twisted and burst, massive fireworks rose from the fortress, causing light tremors through the entire structure.
“Arrogant!” Seemingly stunned by Muria’s forceful direct attack, a Soul Sound with a hint of anger emerged from the partially cratered area of the fortress, “Do you really wish to confront all three of us simultaneously?”
“If necessary, why not?”
Muria stood up, his piercing and tangible gaze falling on the steel fortress, the Dense Rune Steel at the sites he observed began to melt…
