Chapter 68: Can You Stay Here? In My Heart

At midnight, Axel brought Daren back to the mansion. He carried the Omega’s body to his room. Daren kept his face buried in the Alpha’s broad chest, still terrified of what had just happened.

"We’re here, you can rest now," Axel said, sitting him on the bed.

He knelt down, removed Daren’s shoes and laid the man’s body down.

"Rest, you don’t have to worry about anything. I’m sure he won’t dare sue you for this. And I’ll make sure you don’t meet anyone like him again," he said as he rubbed Daren’s head.

Just as he was about to leave to sit on the chair where he usually waited by the door, Daren caught Axel’s wrist and asked him to sit next to him.

"Can you stay here with me? I don’t want to be alone," Daren pleaded as he took the man’s hand.

Seeing how scared and pleading Daren still looked, Axel couldn’t leave him alone. He then sat on the edge of the bed and rubbed the Omega’s head with his large, warm hands.

His eyes closed, feeling the touch of the Alpha’s hand so gently on his head. He felt much better and calmer now, hoping that the touch would never end.

"Hey Axel..."

"What’s wrong? Didn’t I tell you to sleep?"

"I was just curious... Why they want Omega’s body so badly. Why is Omega always victimized by people like them? Do you think... Omegas are so weak that they can’t even do anything but accept all these things for their future?"

"Honestly, Omega is indeed the weakest species. That’s why they put you in the lowest section after Beta. And no matter what you try to do, it won’t change anything at the species level," he replied.

Daren’s eyes dropped when he heard that, what Axel said was true. Omegas could do nothing, they were created only to fulfill the wishes of the Alphas. No matter how hard he tried, no matter how good he was at fighting, if the Alpha had already used their pheromones.

Everything was finished.

"But... You’re different, Daren..."

He looked back at Axel who was looking up at him.

"You’re a strong and stubborn Omega. Even though you know the Alpha is much stronger than you, you still try to fight them. You even did it to me when we first met, even though I threatened you, you still dared to fight me," explained the Alpha.

"You think I’m special?" asked Daren again.

"I think?"

Daren waited expectantly for Axel’s answer, hoping that Axel would consider himself more special than the other Omegas.

"You’re the most annoying Omega I’ve ever met. You slammed me to the ground when we first met, you wrecked my car, you even tested my patience with your annoying pranks. Do you want me to think of you as special?" Axel asked.

He turned his face away, looking the other way as he saw Daren’s expression that was hoping he would say that.

"Yeah, I think you’re a little special."

A smile appeared on the blond man’s face, his blue eyes twinkling as he heard the Alpha’s answer.

"Really? You think I am?" he asked excitedly.

"No, I don’t think so. I’m just sick of seeing your pitiable face like a stray puppy on the side of the road," Axel replied as he folded his arms.

"But... Aren’t they so cute? Do I... Look cute to you?"

Gasp

Instantly Axel gasped in shock and turned his slightly flushed face back with both eyebrows furrowed, trying to contain his embarrassment at Daren’s question.

"Hey, I asked you a question! So you think I’m cute?" he asked again while holding Axel’s arm.

"Shut up! You’re not cute at all, go to bed!" Axel pushed Daren’s face back onto the bed with his palm.

"Mmpphh!!!" The man tried to remove his bodyguard’s large hand until it covered his entire face.

Until finally Daren managed to remove Axel’s hand from his face.

"I can’t breathe, you know?!" he scolded Axel while catching her breath.

"If you can’t breathe, I just need to give you artificial breath."

Daren paused and turned his head, staring at Axel who suddenly said something like that.

"What did you say earlier?"

"Nothing, I won’t repeat myself twice," he replied.

"No no, I heard it earlier. But why did you suddenly..."

"What’s wrong with that? Don’t you want me to give you artificial respiration? No problem," the Alpha said, standing up from his seat.

However, Daren immediately tugged on the hem of his shirt to sit back on his bed.

"I said don’t go, I haven’t answered your question yet anyway. I... I want it if you want to give it to me," he replied with a flushed face.

It wasn’t actually artificial breath that Daren wanted, but a kiss from Axel that he was hoping for. But there was no way he could ask for that directly from the Alpha male because Axel would definitely find it strange.

’Why is he so insensitive? Am I not showing enough that I like him? Do I need to say it? But...’ Daren thought in confusion.

"Oh? Just tell me that you actually want me to kiss you, right? I know and it shows very clearly on that face of yours.

His face grew redder and his forehead wrinkled in annoyance.

"Hmph... Don’t make it up, I’m not like that! But... Axel I’m actually..."

Before he could say anything about his feelings, Axel pulled Daren’s head back and kissed him on the lips. He kissed him deeply and aggressively.

Even so, Daren found the kiss soft and also warm. He returns Axel’s kiss and even their tongues play with each other.

The Alpha opened his eyes, seeing how cute the Omega he was kissing was right now. A smirk on his lips, he bit Daren’s lower lip which made him flinch in surprise.

"Wait... I can’t breathe..." Daren said as he gently pushed Axel away from him.

Their saliva connected with each other until it was finally cut off. Axel grinned as he rubbed Daren’s lower lip with his thumb. Seeing the flushed face and gasping breath of the man he was kissing.

"That was... Our second kiss..." Daren was still trying to catch his ragged breath.

His heart was beating so fast, he couldn’t understand why Axel would suddenly kiss him so aggressively like that.

"It was the third kiss," he replied.

"Third? When was the second kiss?" asked Daren in confusion.

However, Axel answered him with another kiss. It was a short kiss but Daren could feel the man’s lips on his own.

"And this is the fourth kiss, you don’t need to count because I’m going to kiss you more times than you can count, you understand?"

He nodded his head with his sparkling blue eyes. Axel pulled the Omega into his arms and kissed his forehead.

"You’re so annoying."
