Chapter 67: Being Famous Isn’t Free

Daren sat together with Hans in the karaoke room to talk about Daren’s career that could have been famous if he had played in Hans’ movie.

"I see from your acting, you play very well. You can portray a very animated and extraordinary role. I really like it," Hans praised Daren.

"Thank you very much! I practiced very well for it. I want to be in the movies you produce, they’re all so cool and amazing!" Daren said happily when he heard the praise.

Hans nodded in understanding, saying that it took a lot of hard work and he was looking for an actor like Daren for his latest movie.

"Imagine if you were to play in a feature film, a movie full of drama, fantasy and everything else. A movie that could make you a famous actor in Zondalian and even internationally?"

The Omega imagined his name everywhere, everyone recognizing his work and liking it.

’That would be amazing!" he thought at the time.

"Of course I want to! I will train to the best of my ability for the role you will offer me, Mr. Hans. You can trust me with that!"

He took Hans’ hand and looked at him expectantly. The Beta man laughed and tapped Daren on the shoulder.

"Are you sure you can follow the requirements I’m going to give you? Are you capable of it?" asked Hans trying to ask Daren once again.

"Yes, I’m sure I can! I can do it and I’ll do my best!" he replied reassuringly to the famous producer.

"Good, good... Now you have to do what I tell you."

He nodded his head, saying he would follow what Hans said.

"Take off your clothes."

"Ehh?" Daren gasped in shock at the man’s words to him.

Undress? He had to take off his clothes in front of the producer? But for what?

"I’m sorry, but why do I have to take off my clothes?" Daren asked cautiously not wanting to offend Hans.

"For what? To serve me, of course, Omega. You have to make love to me if you want to get the role in the movie," he replied.

Daren’s eyes widened in shock at that. He had to mating with the producer in order to get the role?

"B-but that’s not good, that’s not the right thing to do," he replied.

"Ahahaha... You’re so innocent. This kind of thing is a common thing for actors and actresses to do to get their roles. Didn’t you know that?"

Of course he didn’t, Daren only knew that they were famous because of their excellent skills. But he was wrong, he had to do more to get the fame he wanted.

"Heh, welcome to the dark side of entertainment, Daren. This phase is what you need to do for your career. Now take off your shirt and take off my pants, make me satisfied with your tongue play!" Hans ordered.

He still refused and shook his head, Daren intended to leave the room but Hans held him back.

"No way! Axel! Axel help me!" Daren shouted to his bodyguard.

But he just remembered that karaoke rooms are designed to be soundproof, so even if he screamed, no one would hear him.

"No! Let go!!!"

At the same time, Axel’s eyes widened as he heard Daren scream. He rushed towards the door to save him, but of course, Hans’ two bodyguards held him back.

"FUCK OFF!" he snapped with a growl of annoyance.

"Do you dare fight us, huh?!" they both shouted.

Without caring about the answer he was about to give, Axel went straight for the kill. He kicked one of them in the groin, making him duck down while holding his sore groin.

At that moment, Axel smashed his knee hard into the bodyguard’s face and hit the back of his neck unconscious.

However, they couldn’t fight someone as well-trained as him until Axel kicked the door of the room open.

BRAK!!!

"Daren!!!"

Her eyes opened wide when he saw Daren already under Hans ready to be r*ped.

Alphanya’s instincts kicked in and his eyes lit up, staring at him with a piercing gaze.

"Get out of here! Don’t you dare hit me or I’ll--"

Before he could finish speaking, Axel pulled Hans’ shirt collar even until the man’s feet were no longer on the ground. "What the... Let go of me! Let go!"

"You dare to treat him like that, haven’t you heard about the Noah Oliver case that ended horribly? Do you want to end up like him too, huh?!"

"N-no... It’s a normal thing to do if you want to be famous anyway! You think you can get famous for free?!" Hans snapped, which made Axel even more annoyed and punched him in the face.

THUD!

"Say that again, I’ll smash your face!"

Blood flowed from the producer’s nose until his teeth were knocked out.

"A-Axel... Let him go, we’ll get in trouble if we kill him!" pleaded Daren while holding his bodyguard’s arm.

"Tch... You’re lucky I didn’t break your neck!" Axel pushed Hans until the man collapsed against a nearby table.

He then turned around and looked at Daren who was shaking with fear, this had to happen to him a second time. Without saying anything, he hugged the Alpha tightly.

"I was so scared, I thought I’d really..."

"It’s okay, I’m here for you. I won’t let anyone do that to you. I’ll kill them if they dare do this to you," he said as he returned Daren’s hug.

He quietly took something out of the man’s blazer pocket and pulled it out. It was a small listening device and recorder that he had inserted when he called Daren again.

Ever since, he had been listening to their conversation. That’s how he was able to know what happened to Daren and beat up the bodyguards to save him.
