Barney’s death was huge news in Zondalian, even internationally. A tragic death, burned inside the ruined mansion and buried with it. It was as if he was trapped in there, even with the place he was always proud of.

People ask, where are the residents of the mansion. Why was only Barney, the Master left to die alone in it?

Moreover, his death came after a few months when the Young Master chose to cut off their family ties. Automatically, everything would go down to his adopted son, Ivan Howard.

"Mr. Daren, what do you think of this news?"

"Right, do you know who is responsible for this and how you feel?" the reporters asked Daren in an interview.

Daren didn’t want to deal with something like this, but Edgar said that he would at least send his condolences to the public for this incident. After all, he was once part of the Wyne Family and he was Barney’s biological son.

"So how did Daren respond to the rumors that spread after the news of Mr. Wyne’s death?" another reporter asked.

One of the female reporters explained that last night there was a live interview with Ivan, where he was saddened by the death of his adoptive father. And he felt that the person who could have done all this was Daren.

"He said that Mr. Daren’s separation from the Wyne Family was because he was adopted by the Wyne Family. Moreover, all the inheritance was given to him, so Mr. Daren was upset and committed this arson," she explained.

Mike gasped in shock as soon as he heard that, his teeth chattering in annoyance and he growled quietly when he found out. Ivan or Sam Walton had made up a rumor that ruined Daren’s good name.

"That’s not true! There’s nothing like that and I can confirm Young Master wasn’t involved in the fire at the mansion! He’s been so busy taking care of Madam who’s sick, he couldn’t have killed Master or even destroyed the mansion where he grew up!" he denied it.

There Mike continued to defend Daren, saying everything Ivan said was untrue. If Daren really wanted the Wyne family fortune, why would he break up the family. Especially to the point of burning down a mansion worth billions of dollars.

He could understand that no matter how much the man hated him, there were days when they were still happy together as a family.

"Young Master, I know you’re sad, but there’s nothing else to do. Master is dead, now you and Madam are completely free without him. All will be well," he said as he rubbed Daren’s head.

"You think so?"

He nodded his head, saying things would get better soon and just wait until the day they defeated Ivan.

"He started this revenge too, didn’t you and Axel plan to defeat him? If you’re feeling sad, it’ll be hard to do."

"You’re right, what should I be sad about anyway? He used to love me, but he has turned into a monster and is dead because of his own mistakes," said Daren who regained his senses with all the things that had happened and no longer doubted what happened.

Mike smiled when he saw him, glad that the man’s spirit had returned. He rubbed his head again, feeling the softness of the man’s blond hair in his hands.

Something he had a hard time doing anymore with Daren because Axel was always around him.

"Now the most important thing is how do I end this? How do I end Ivan with my two hands without anyone suspecting this?"

"Has Axel given you any plans for this yet, Young Master?"

Daren shook his head, saying that his lover had not said anything about it. Moreover, right now he was going to his headquarters to look up information about his new mission.

But he didn’t care, he knew Sam was up to something but being able to meet him was an opportunity.

"I’ll meet him and put an end to all this madness."
