Ivan’s POV

F*ck, f*ck, f*ck!

Why is everything falling apart like this! Everything was supposed to go according to the plan I had made before! But it’s all ruined because of Daren!

That useless, weird Omega ruined all my plans again! He was supposed to be dead too, but that Alpha conspired with him to keep him alive!

I’ve tried to complain about this to the organization he work for, but they’ve already considered my order is done because of my confirmation back then!

I didn’t even know at the time that Daren was still alive! What a sneaky Alpha!

All Alphas and Omegas are always trouble! Even before they came to this world, all Betas must have lived peacefully. But ever since those two damn creatures, Betas have been in the position of having to bow down to Alphas.

I picked up the picture frame on the table, looking at the picture of mom and dad when everything was still fine.

"Dad... Mom... Today I will send him to hell. You don’t have to worry about this anymore. I promise everything will be back in our possession and no one will be able to bring down the Walton Family again."

At his residence, Barney just sat alone in the living room with nothing to do. All the servants and cooks had completely left without anyone staying.

He was completely alone, sitting without anyone or a single voice ringing in his ears. Even the guards outside the gate had also left when they saw the servants leaving the mansion.

"Mr. Barney is getting crazy, you’d better leave before you’re exposed to his madness!" a servant said to the guards.

Even though they hadn’t gotten their last paycheck yet, the servants and cooks would rather resign than lose their sanity too.

The middle-aged man had no one left, and he had even abandoned his old family of parents and siblings after he married Viona.

"Heh, who needs them? They’re all useless to me. I can find a new wife, have children who are much more useful and continue my company. Well... Who needs a flawed Omega like Viona who can’t give me a good Alpha male," he said with a laugh as he started to lose his mind.

He stood up from his seat and approached Ivan.

"Luckily I still have someone who is much more useful than all of them. Together we can do many things for the betterment of Marabella," he said while holding Ivan’s shoulder.

However, Ivan just brushed the man’s hand off his shoulder. His face was completely flat and portrayed a cold gaze.

"Unfortunately, there is no ’we’ after this," said the brown-haired man.

"What do you mean?"

Ivan walked past Barney and stood by the fireplace. Right in front of the man’s huge family photo, mounted on the wall.

"Did you think I would voluntarily work with a cunning and annoying man like you in the first place? You’re just an Alpha that I can’t wait to see die after what you’ve done to me and my family in the past," he said as he continued to stare at the painting and didn’t turn his head.

"You and your family? Which family are you referring to, I don’t even know who your family is!"

The Beta was silent for a moment then finally looked back slightly with a smile. "Are you sure you don’t recognize my family, you ignorant thief," he said with a grin while showing a photo frame in his hand.

Barney squinted his eyes to look at the photo and now his eyes widened as he couldn’t believe what he was seeing at the moment.

"No way! You can’t possibly..."

"Why not? Nothing is impossible in this world," Ivan replied, revealing his identity as Sam Walton.

He placed his family photo on the mantelpiece, arranging it neatly.

"You should have died in that fire! No one should have survived!" said Barney, who couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

All this time he had fallen into the trap he had set for his own friend, now the son of his friend was coming for revenge.

"It’s possible... I came back from the dead to take you there," Ivan replied.

"You... You ignorant bastard! I’ve taken you in as my own son, given you a position and..."

"And? Why would I thank you if it was all mine. The money, the wealth, and Marabella, they were all mine, my family’s from the start! But you stole it!" snapped the Beta.

"Now I’ve got it back, and I don’t need you and your family anymore."

After Barney couldn’t move anymore, Ivan got up from above him and took something out. A fire poker.

Barney, who could not move but still had consciousness, asked Ivan not to kill him. He would give everything to Ivan, as long as he was allowed to live. But Ivan didn’t care, he already had all the assets of the Wyne Family fortune.

"Your death is the biggest thing I’ve wanted all along, seeing you tormented like my parents were is my dream," he replied.

"No! No, no, no! Somebody help me!" the Alpha male shouted with a limp body.

Without saying anything else, Ivan set fire to the paper that he had given gasoline to. Unbeknownst to Barney as well, Ivan had poured gasoline and even gunpowder at several points so that the mansion would explode along with Barney inside.

The fire spread quickly because of the gasoline he had poured. Barney could only stand still, with a panicked face asking to be saved.

However, only Ivan’s voice sounded so loud, seeing the man’s body burned by the flames. He then walked over to the fireplace and picked up the picture frame that he had put down.
