Chapter 501 Ship Kills People

Chapter 501: Chapter 501 Ship Kills People

Jiang Feng, suspended in mid-air, pulled out a compact scanner. A red light swept from head to toe, and the kite line tangled around his leg detached on its own.

However, he didn’t return to the ship but chased after Xu Huo on a skateboard-like flying device.

Xu Huo used the guitar strings to ascend nearly fifty meters, and when Jiang Feng zoomed close, he knocked out his flying device with a disruptor.

Jiang Feng did have spare flying devices, but affected by the disruptor, they wouldn’t work even if he took them out. Thus, as he fell, he grabbed Xu Huo’s arm, intending to drag him down into the water!

This was precisely what Xu Huo had hoped for. He retracted the guitar strings and went plummeting down with Jiang Feng. At the same time, he raised his right hand upwards, and the disappeared shelter reappeared, with a massive force of gravity suddenly pressing down on both of them!

From dozens of meters in the air, even falling into the water was not much different from hitting solid ground. Even if players had evolved, such a fall could easily break several bones, not to mention the added pressure of such a huge object on top of them.

Jiang Feng thought Xu Huo was aiming for mutual destruction. He kicked him away and was about to exit the shelter when Xu Huo, seizing the moment Jiang Feng was distracted, tied one of his hands to the shelter using the guitar strings.

It wasn’t clear if it was due to environmental limitations, but Jiang Feng didn’t use his special ability and instead drew a dagger, aiming for Xu Huo’s throat!

As the shelter descended rapidly, the fierce wind made it nearly impossible to keep one’s eyes open. Below in the ocean, the swaying seaweeds seemed to sense the commotion above and stretched out toward the high sky.

Xu Huo simply grabbed the dagger with his Diamond Gloves and with a twist of his wrist, the prop deformed.

Jiang Feng didn’t hesitate to discard the dagger and produced a Prop Gun in his hand.

Being too close, Xu Huo could not tangle with him, so he flung the door of the shelter and climbed into the room.

Jiang Feng was slapped squarely in the face by the door, and the gun in his hand was knocked away. But he only stiffened for an instant before untying the guitar strings with a gadget and then moved towards the edge of the shelter.

Although he was delayed for a while, he had enough time to exit the shelter before reaching the sea surface. Unfortunately, at that moment, for some reason, the seventh floor of the ship suddenly rotated.

The ship had opened each floor when viewing the colorful sea, and it had been closed again during the subsequent journey. Up until the commencement of the massacre today, most parts of the ship lost power, and the hull became antiquated. The shape of the ship hadn’t changed, and in fact, it shouldn’t have—firstly, because the power supply couldn’t keep up, and secondly, many parts of the ship were rusted and jammed, preventing it from rotating around the central axis at such a high speed.

But in that instant, the seventh floor of the ship snapped like a triggered buckle, and in the blink of an eye, it formed a cross with the hull. Coincidentally, the newly rotated deck caught the shelter perfectly!

Although Jiang Feng fled at the fastest speed, he couldn’t avoid it completely—his right foot was crushed beneath the shelter, the flesh and bone completely shattered!

Inside the shelter, Xu Huo, sitting on the "Upright Chair," also knew something had gone wrong. After the collision, he promptly retracted the shelter and threw the "True Wooden Man" onto Jiang Feng before he could recover!

Jiang Feng stiffened as the Crimson Sword chopped at his neck, but it thudded against an invisible barrier.

"Thud! Thud!" Two consecutive strikes failed to harm him, and Xu Huo quickly put distance between them, once again taking out the shelter!

"Bang!" This time Jiang Feng’s defensive barrier was broken through, the whole person was completely trapped under the shelter, and harvesting his life next wouldn’t be so difficult. "Harmless Whip" slipped through the gap beneath the shelter and accurately looped around his neck.

Even though Jiang Feng could move now, he didn’t have the strength to push the shelter off and could only take out a prop to remove the rope from his neck. But before he could act, the rope suddenly turned into blades!

Jiang Feng reacted quickly, forcing his fingers into the rope. He had a prop on his hand, so his throat wasn’t cut immediately. At that moment, the entire seventh floor began to crumble—like the remnants of a burnt structure, turning to large swathes of ash with a gust of wind!

The seventh floor began to collapse, and Jiang Feng fell from the ship. Xu Huo had to quickly retract the shelter. Although "Harmless Whip" was not taken back, the now-free Jiang Feng moved his fingers, triggering the circular storm to start again, also controlling the falling objects from the ship.

At this point, Xu Huo knew that continuing the standoff would make it difficult to kill Jiang Feng. He considered backing off but, for some unknown reason, the disintegrating seventh floor flipped like a roller coaster, and a metal bar flew out, slicing off Jiang Feng’s left shoulder!

The storm suddenly stopped, and Jiang Feng’s left shoulder and arm were chopped off, leaving only his hand stuck in "Harmless Whip." The intense pain made him scream, while Xu Huo took the opportunity to slacken and tighten the rope in his hand, moving it above Jiang Feng’s throat and forcefully pulling it!

Jiang Feng’s head flew off.

"Brother!" Jiang Feng’s sister, the young girl, appeared on the sixth floor. She let out a shocked and bewildered howl, then looked towards Xu Huo with hatred, screaming as she controlled the seaweed from above and below the ship to attack Xu Huo wildly.

Having already obtained Jiang Feng’s prop, Xu Huo used the barrier to block some of the seaweed, while clearing obstacles with the Crimson Sword and following the body falling to catch Jiang Feng’s corpse, still wearing several props that had to be recovered.

Jiang Feng’s sister screamed even louder at this scene. Instantly not only the ship but also the seaweed in the sea twisted together, becoming thick dragon-like whips lashing towards him!

Xu Huo dodged the seaweed dragons on his flying device and returned to the ship. Although the seventh floor was shattered, the floors above had not collapsed, well-supported by the central axis, simply missing one floor, creating a much wider gap between the sixth floor and above.

Of course, the openness had its advantages. With a gap opened in the middle, the situation on the sixth floor could be clearly seen below.

Because the seventh floor was gone, most of the facilities within the building crumbled along with the ship, except for the displays and the players who had landed successfully on the sixth floor. But they were not the most eye-catching on the sixth floor, the center of attention was the two people standing in the middle.

One of them was Bai Kou, and the man opposite her was someone Xu Huo had seen in the wanted list of the base government; he was a member of the Guile Sound Knights—Yuguo!

The two faced each other in a standoff, Bai Kou expressionless, while Yuguo grinned, hitched up his swim trunks, grabbed the corner of his Hawaiian shirt to wipe his forehead, and said, "You’re quite energetic, little lady. Why don’t you hang with big brother here, I guarantee you the time of your life, way better than dealing with the pigs in Zone 011."

Bai Kou ripped off her right-hand glove, which had begun to peel away due to corrosion, and tossed it away casually. "If you can kill your companion and then sever your own limbs, it’s not out of the question."
