Kaidan Game Train: Abide Rule or Die!
Chapter 1270 - 1271: Human Head Fireworks

Chapter 1270: Chapter 1271: Human Head Fireworks

Compared to the slightly flamboyant young aristocrats present, Kairo, dressed in a formal suit, appeared somewhat out of place. However, his outstanding appearance combined with the unique aura brought by his family background allowed him to maintain a central position, subtly dominating the entire scene.

Kairo watched the light and shadow refracting off the wine glass in his hand under the lights, leaning slightly against the transparent railing, completely indifferent to the attention and noise below.

"Young Master Feld!" a female admirer shouted loudly upwards. Kairo then tilted his head slightly, as if looking down, and even this simple gesture caused the screams to reach another level.

Someone was so excited that they cried, choking out, "I’m fortunate to be from Hua City, or else I would never have the chance to see Young Master Feld in my lifetime!"

The few young aristocrats standing alongside Kairo scanned the area from above but couldn’t find their prey of interest. The long-haired young man snapped his fingers at the security personnel inside, and a carefree player quickly left to speak, while the young man smiled playfully, "These are almost withering; for flower viewing, it’s best to look at those that have just budded and are about to bloom."

Men and women laughed knowingly, and the young man with a baby face beside him said, "Didn’t your family absorb a few orphans? Why not invite them to play together?"

"Those are future players; the family doesn’t allow touching them. Maybe in a year or two," the long-haired young man said, lacking interest.

Not long after, a dozen or so teenagers appeared on the top floor of the club, all wearing outer garments with the welfare district emblem, uneasily facing these people of noble status.

The young aristocrats tacitly picked their chosen ones, male and female, while the long-haired young man signaled for the girl in the middle to step forward and pour wine for Kairo.

The meaningful glances made the girl very uneasy. Clutching the wine bottle, she walked towards Kairo, step by step, stopping haltingly every step, but when she was still three meters away, Kairo raised his hand with condescension, and an invisible robot blocked her path, speaking in a humanoid voice: "Please do not proceed further."

This is also why the young aristocrats maintained a certain distance from Kairo; besides the protection of the high-tech products from the Advanced Wormhole Site invisible robot around Kairo, there were also players who had completely concealed themselves. Approaching him without permission, no matter who——at least those from the E27 Wormhole Point were at risk of being killed.

The long-haired young man laughed heartily, pulling the girl into his arms despite her resistance, pinching her face to make her look at Kairo, "Kairo is in a good mood tonight, he didn’t even kill you!"

After the girl pushed him away, he shook his head regretfully, "Even though she grew up in the welfare district, she’s raised by that old director as his own daughter. She’s not inferior to the girls in the wealthy families of District 001, yet she’s lacking in cunning. Just looking at her makes one happy..."

He wasn’t very interested in the girl either. After scanning the top floor, he selected a server delivering wine, "I’ll reward you."

Apparently, this wasn’t the first time such a thing happened. Overjoyed, the server covered the girl’s mouth and dragged her away.

The companions who came along were all scared silly. The long-haired young man turned back to kiss the girl beside him, smiling gently, "Don’t make me unhappy... It’s almost time to set off the fireworks."

The manager of the club appeared just in time, sent a signal into the air, and the next second, all the lights in the city went out. Along with a dazzling light shooting into the sky, a sound of explosion that didn’t quite match the grandeur of the firework echoed out.

The light from the fireworks shifted from bright to dim, illuminating all faces on the streets of the city center. In the moment protected by the barrier, the people of Hua City had an unusual excitement on their faces, gazing fervently at the Outer District People around them.

"Ah!!!" A scream pierced the night sky, and the crowd slightly parted due to this scream, under the afterglow of the fireworks, a headless corpse fell, and the people surrounding the body, including the screaming woman, were covered in splattered red and white substance!

"There... there’s a player attacking!" someone shouted, pulling everyone back from their shock. Just a moment of darkness and silence, then the second firework launched...

"Boom!" Explosions sounded from different locations, with several screams, the crowded people left gaps, and this time a player fell!

In panic, people on the streets shouted for the Hua City players in charge of security to handle it and move them to a safe place, but with no response for a long time, and as several more heads exploded, they realized that Hua City wasn’t going to care whether they lived or died!

Cacophonous screams erupted immediately, and ordinary people from other cities began frantically running to the buildings on either side of the street, or desperately smashing at the light screen barriers every so often at intervals. Amid these screams of terror and pleas, the laughter of the long-haired young man came from above:

"This firework isn’t impressive enough; we should set off more!"

The players with acute hearing heard this clearly.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Several fireworks rose one after another; under the alternating light and dark, more heads suddenly exploded, the scent of blood instantly filling the street.

But this was only the beginning; soon afterwards, more than a dozen flashes of light soared from all around the city, the intense brightness nearly turning the entire city center into daylight, the slightly dazzling light reflected on the upturned faces, making all faces appear uniformly pale, contrasting sharply with the laughter of the Hua City people safely hiding behind barriers, like hell versus paradise.

"Help, help... save me..." Someone pleaded with the nearby player.

However, the players’ situation was not much better. Apart from those who directly entered the station, others had tried to escape using Prop since the first death, but unfortunately, the entire area of the city center was already locked down. Long-distance movement Props were forcibly interrupted, and masked players guarded both inside and outside of the lockdown circle, not giving them any chance to break through directly.

Some players hid in nearby buildings, but hiding anywhere was useless; neither buildings nor objects like cabinets provided refuge from this inexplicable headshot attack, unlike the barriers where Hua City people hid, and like ordinary people, they too could be inexplicably shot in the head. Ordinary Defense Props were completely ineffective!

Realizing that hiding in buildings wouldn’t save them, a large number of people surged back into the street, and what followed was a scene of devastation. In a very short time, the wide and clean street was covered in blood, as if strewn with fallen red petals.

"Hiding inside to watch the drama?" One player was enraged, swinging a Prop to attack the light screen barrier that allowed Hua City’s elite to watch the spectacle, "I want to see if your Hua City people’s heads will explode!"
