Kaidan Game Train: Abide Rule or Die!
Chapter 1191: Deliberate Provocation

Chapter 1191: Chapter 1191: Deliberate Provocation

There were four people at Xu Huo’s table: him, Ye Bingxin, Buzz Cut Player, and a middle-aged man.

When the two spoke up, the four at the table merely glanced at them. The middle-aged man, with half his face buried in his coat collar, raised his head, revealing a chin covered in burned scars. He said to them coldly, "Can you move to another car?"

The man’s voice was hoarse and unpleasant, sounding abrasive. Yet, combined with his expression, it carried an intimidating weight, which made the two players hesitate.

Ultimately, the two left the car—not due to the man’s words but because someone in the next car called them over; it was one of their companions.

They didn’t go far, staying in the connecting car to chat with their companion. During this time, they kept looking back and forth between the two cars.

"I’ve got a bad feeling about this," Hat Player said in a hushed tone.

It didn’t take long before the two players returned to the car, bringing two additional companions with them. The four sat at a table, ordered a feast of food, and devoured it without reservation, seeming to care little about the judgmental looks of those around them.

Clearly, Hat Player’s bad premonition proved accurate. These people, initially scattered in different cars, had regrouped and consolidated into two separate cars, with one connecting car serving as the buffer in between.

The two groups were only one car apart.

Even a fool could sense the growing tension in the atmosphere. The male player Ye Bingxin had predicted would possibly die on this train had left the main car before lights out, hiding alone in the connecting car.

While other players hadn’t gone into hiding, they had prepared their defenses ahead of time. Hat Player, in particular, seemed especially worried about a repeat of last night’s incident and preemptively sealed the car windows with mechanical props.

The stunning scenery outside was blocked by a thin metal wall, dimming the light inside the car and shifting focus to the four newcomers.

Each of the four players had numeric tattoos on the backs of their hands, reading "2," "15," "7," and "11." After finishing their meal, they leaned against the table to sleep, ignoring everything occurring in the car. However, after lights out, all four suddenly woke up, stretched, and stood. Two moved toward the front, while the other two headed toward the rear.

While everyone was speculating about their intentions, the two moving toward the rear opened the door to the car behind them using props and tossed a lighting prop inside!

The connecting car was illuminated instantly. After throwing the prop, the pair casually returned to their original car. At this moment, the train had not yet entered the territory of the Different Species Group, but as soon as they shut the door behind them, a thunderous rumble erupted from either side of the tracks!

The faces of the passengers turned pale, but that was not the end. The car ahead also suddenly erupted in a bright light!

"You’re mad..." Hat Player began to question them, but before he could finish, a violent jolt struck the train as both the front and rear cars were simultaneously overrun!

The alien siege from last night played out again, but this time the number of creatures was significantly larger, almost immediately engulfing the entire train!

The players in the front and rear cars clashed desperately with the aliens, and even the connecting car wasn’t spared. No one knew the fate of the male player who had hidden in the back car; before the creatures boarded, there had been frantic banging on the car door, but it was soon drowned out by the relentless crashing sounds. His fate likely wasn’t good—poor luck meant almost certain death, while better fortune might see him thrown from the train, though survival on the tracks remained bleak.

But this didn’t mean the untouched cars were safe. While the creatures consumed the attention of most players, the four tattooed players began their assault, targeting Xu Huo’s table first!

The player marked "2" was the first to move, splitting their table in half to distance the four before engaging in two-on-two combat. "11" tossed a bell prop to the floor, and though the sound wasn’t loud, it unleashed an unbearable noise that rendered most players in the car deaf. The tactic was effective—not all players had evolved Night Vision abilities, and some still relied on props to see in the dark.

Their teamwork was smooth. First, they deprived the players of their hearing, then detonated multiple colored balls inside the car to impair vision, successfully executing a surprise attack.

Although the approach caught many off guard, it wasn’t enough to incapacitate all players. Even without sight or sound, Level D Players had developed a certain sensitivity to their surroundings... but the real problem was that this was a Level D train. Most passengers were Level D Players, inherently weaker than Rank-C Players. The disparity in strength plunged the car into a struggle.

During their assault on Xu Huo’s group, the four tattooed players killed two other passengers in the fray.

"2" wiped the blood from his knife, sneering as he looked at Xu Huo and Ye Bingxin. "I know you two are Rank-C Players. Why bother hiding it on this train?"

Xu Huo, unperturbed by the aggressive group, didn’t flinch. "Advanced Players deliberately disrupting the order of a low-level train? Aren’t you afraid of being hunted down? Or maybe... you’re already wanted criminals?"

"2" burst into laughter. "You got it right! So what? Do you think the train staff care whether players live or die?"

"You must be very confident," Xu Huo replied. "I assume you’ve thoroughly studied the alien species we’ll encounter on this train? Otherwise, you wouldn’t use such a reckless method to cut down player numbers."

"But I’m curious about one thing: You don’t seem insane. Even if you lure the aliens here, you won’t gain anything from the deaths of other players. What’s the point of doing this?"

Such plain mockery visibly darkened "2’s" expression. He wiped his blade with his sleeve and said with a sinister tone, "You’ll understand... once I kill you."

Before he could finish his sentence, an invisible force slammed him against the car window. Thanks to his Defense Prop, the blade-like Spatial Ray didn’t end his life instantly. An experienced fighter, "2" immediately utilized a prop to escape. During his retreat, he pressed all ten fingers against the floor, triggering pre-planted Prop Rope Blades that snapped toward Xu Huo with a sharp whirring noise!

Unfortunately, the blades crumbled a meter away from Xu Huo. He casually swiped his hand through the air and smiled faintly. "You’re using threads? I’ll use threads too."

"2’s" face turned pale, and he bolted without hesitation. But before he made it two steps, he was sliced into pieces by the web of Secant Lines filling the car. Xu Huo then issued a warning to the others, "Please stay where you are, or face the consequences."

"11," upon seeing his ally killed, acted without thinking. He raised his hand to throw a prop, but mid-motion, his arm severed itself into two pieces, both landing on the car floor.
