Kaidan Game Train: Abide Rule or Die! -
Chapter 1190
Chapter 1190: Chapter 1190
(To be modified later) As the party receiving the force, Yan Jiayu wasn’t as battered as him. She landed steadily in the middle of the room, waving the Demon-Subduing Pestle and charging forward, attacking wildly!
"Bang, bang, bang," a few loud noises rang out, and a Shield Prop started showing cracks under her strikes. The player quickly dodged and used their Characteristics to momentarily slow Yan Jiayu down before heading straight toward Xu Huo’s side!
His real target was the government player who had yet to escape. But just halfway there, a cold gleam suddenly swept from the side!
The pursuing player swiftly sidestepped to evade and, raising his hand, shot dozens of Cowhair Needles from his sleeve.
The Air Barrier couldn’t be used temporarily, so Xu Huo decisively placed Shelter 101 in front, then retracted it while simultaneously activating "Extreme Fatigue" and "Progress Bar Disappearance" during his attack.
The player immediately sensed the effects of the props settling upon him. He pressed a button on his sleeve, causing the clothes on his body to stand erect like scales before settling back down. With the color of his outfit shifting once, he returned to normal. The fatigue was no longer visible on his face!
Yan Jiayu and the Stone Lion closed in, while Da Mao, who had been slacking off, got whacked on the rear by a staff. It immediately redirected all its fury toward the pursuing player. Under relentless biting and tearing, the player retreated step by step.
"The power of the vase!" The pursuing player threw a cushion onto the floor, causing the frenzied Da Mao to slip and step on it, with one of its claws pinned to the ground.
But it didn’t make much difference. The violent Stone Lion directly dug a hole in the floor. Being stuck to the cushion didn’t matter—it could carry the floorboards and keep running.

Xu Huo still used the name Xu Zhi when speaking with Ye Bingxin and quickly learned she was from Zone 015, which seemingly entered the game earlier than Zone 014.
"The order in which game zones are sorted isn’t that strict," Ye Bingxin said. "But Zone 015 has been lucky overall—few resources but no major incidents involving Super Props. Not as unlucky as Zone 014."
"Yeah, it’s pretty unlucky," Xu Huo nodded.
"Sometimes for a new zone to emerge successfully, a bit of luck is needed." Ye Bingxin added, "I happen to believe quite a bit in fate."
"Do you have Characteristics related to that?" Xu Huo seemed interested.
Ye Bingxin ran a hand through her hair. "I just believe in it, but my divinations tend to be pretty accurate."
With nothing else to do, she said to Xu Huo, "Want me to tell your fortune?"
"Sure." Xu Huo extended his hand. "Do you need to read my palm or face?"
"No, no." Ye Bingxin laid out a row of custom cards. "Just draw one, that’s good enough."
Xu Huo picked one casually. The card face featured sun, moon, and star patterns, each marked by a needle pointing to different times.
Ye Bingxin, upon seeing the card, exclaimed in surprise, "This is the first time anyone’s ever drawn this card."
"Oh? Is it bad?" Xu Huo quirked an eyebrow.
"Not necessarily bad," Ye Bingxin explained, pointing at the star diagram. "This card is one ’bad’ and two ’goods.’ The star is closest to you, indicating that you’ll face considerable misfortune in the near future. But don’t worry too much—the moon and sun represent that bad luck can turn into fortune. This calamity might even bring unexpected rewards."
Xu Huo smiled slightly without saying anything. Not far away, the Hat-player chuckled, "A player living in the game—aren’t we all one ’bad’ and two ’goods?’"
Every instance is dangerous, but completing it successfully always leads to decent rewards in the end. In essence, this card’s prediction could apply to any player.
The passengers in the train car couldn’t help but smile to varying degrees. Ye Bingxin didn’t mind. "I’m just interpreting the card as it is. I commissioned a specialized Artifact Maker to craft these cards—no markings, no memorization. If you don’t believe me, you could draw one yourself and see if you get the Sun-Moon-Star card."
She then turned back to Xu Huo, looking a bit envious as she said, "From the card’s reading, your luck is indeed very good."
The Hat-player disbelieved her and kept an eye on the card Xu Huo returned. He actively moved over to sit at their table.
Ye Bingxin’s expression cooled. To prove the cards’ credibility, she deliberately slowed down her shuffling movements.
When the cards were reset, she reminded, "Just so we’re clear—if you draw a bad card, you can’t blame me. Over two-thirds of the deck carries unfavorable meanings."
"Let’s see how lucky I am," the Hat-player teased, brushing his fingers over the cards before picking one from the edge. "This must be the card from before."
But when the card was flipped over, it showed a pattern abundant with small stars.
The Hat-player raised his brows and accused Ye Bingxin, "You tampered with it?"
"I told you—they’re Prop cards. Even if you memorize the card, it doesn’t guarantee you’ll draw the same one. It all depends on your luck," Ye Bingxin said, reaching to reclaim the card.
"Why not interpret it?" Hat-player blocked her hand.
"Would you believe me?" Ye Bingxin countered. "If not, there’s nothing more to say."
"I’m curious," Xu Huo interjected. "Earlier, the star signified something bad. This card packed with stars... wouldn’t that mean a ’nine deaths, one life’ situation?"
Glancing at the Hat-player, Ye Bingxin confirmed, "Essentially, yes. This is a bad card. The presence of three larger stars suggests you’ll encounter at least three life-or-death moments in the near future."
The Hat-player’s smile disappeared. Whether he believed it or not, the message itself wasn’t pleasant by any stretch.
"You’re not setting me up here, are you?" He eyed Ye Bingxin warily. "Is this some kind of Prop that can influence player luck?"
Ye Bingxin was a bit speechless. "Have you seen such a Prop before? I’d love to have one myself."
"Humans influence artifacts—not the other way around. I’ve never seen an artifact capable of altering a person," Hat-player didn’t back down and insisted Ye Bingxin draw a card herself.
Ye Bingxin complied cheerfully, shuffled the deck herself, and solemnly drew a card, only for it to turn out identical to the Hat-player’s star card.
Their gazes met, and Ye Bingxin clearly looked more dejected, lamenting, "I shouldn’t have flipped it."
The Hat-player laughed heartily. "Didn’t you say the card can’t influence people? Seems like this calamity is destined for you!"
The fortune-drawing game intrigued even more passengers, especially since Ye Bingxin now looked like she herself was under dire threat. Another female player approached, asking, "Can you draw one for me too?"
Xu Huo ceded his seat and moved to sit next to the Buzz Cut player.
"Meteor Card." Ye Bingxin interpreted for the female player. "Your luck isn’t looking great either—you’re likely about to suffer financial loss. For players, financial loss typically means losing Props. You might lose quite a few Props, but not holding back is key—better to sacrifice items than your life."
The female player’s mood instantly plummeted.
Two more players joined in afterward, and both drew similarly ominous cards. One male player, in particular, drew the "Certain Death" card. Ye Bingxin hesitated before declaring that he might die on this train trip, leading him to nearly flip the table in anger.
