His father’s illness and now his mother’s disappearance left Lucien very worried. But what could he do in this situation? Should he take his father to the hospital even against his will?

Afterwards, he went to a spot in the living room and found a third credit card. This one he used to buy things under his parents’ supervision.

With these three cards, buying everything he needed for the main mission wouldn’t be a problem; he just needed to be discreet with the deliveries so as not to attract the attention of the neighbors.

Maybe ordering some things to be delivered to William’s house would be easier and wouldn’t draw as much attention. Besides, he would tell his friend about the system and the possible apocalypse. As for his father’s situation, he would keep it a secret as long as he could this week. But he needed to share the problem with someone, or he would go crazy.

"Now let’s think a little..." Lucien went to the kitchen, served the food he had heated, and began eating.

Why is the mission to "Save Mr. Mustache" important? Is it considered secondary to my father’s illness and treatment? Does the system already know he’s sick? Will all the animals get sick? There was a long silence on the other end of the line before an answer finally arrived.

"Hello, young master, my name is Tristan, I’m one of your mother’s assistants here in the capital... Is there anything you need?"

"My mother isn’t answering her cell phone, and someone from the police is asking about her whereabouts... What happened to her?"

"Young master, I don’t know what happened. Your mother disappeared, and no one knows her whereabouts. But I’m sure she’s fine, or just dealing with some company issue... As soon as we hear from her, I’ll let you know, okay?"

After hanging up the phone, Lucien became serious...

"Did Mom and Dad get involved in something illegal? Is that why he won’t go to the hospital and why she disappeared?" Lucien thought as he took the elevator down to school...

That morning, Lucien didn’t find Kurt and his group... Which proved that his knee situation was worse than it seemed. Whatever the reason, Lucien had one of the calmest days of the entire semester, and at the end of classes, he was even able to leave with his friends...

He also took advantage of the opportunity and finally told them about the situation involving the strange system and the apocalypse...

"So an apocalypse is going to happen in a few days, and you want Will and me to gather supplies to prepare for the worst?" Nina asked, still incredulous.

"You also want to use my house, which doesn’t have many neighbors nearby, to send some of the things you’re going to buy with your father’s card?" William asked suspiciously, adjusting his glasses and looking at Lucien with raised eyebrows.

"That’s it!" Looking around and making sure no one was looking, Lucien waved his hand, making his entire backpack disappear, startling his two friends, who immediately widened their eyes and began screaming in the middle of the street, drawing the attention of passersby.

Lucien calmed them down and discreetly explained about the "Inventory" and how it worked.

William was most fascinated by the ability because he also played games and understood how divine something like that was. While Nina was still struggling to understand it using the little she knew about the Space Bracelets and Jyera’s new technology.

"Well, I also have an emergency card that I could use to buy all these things. What about you, Nina?" William asked.

"I do, but I don’t know what the limit is... Besides, it’ll be hard to hide the things from my mom since she gets alerts about my purchases on her phone."

"We could say they’re items for a school project or some kind of donation," Lucien suggested.
