Invisible Security Guard
Chapter 192: A Family of Four

Chapter 192: Chapter 192: A Family of Four

Since Daisy Wilkinson lived on a different floor from Yusuf Zuck, when he and Fleur Carson left with their bags at two in the morning, Daisy and her team did not find out.

After arriving at the airport by cab, the two immediately purchased tickets for an international flight that was about to take off, which was not headed to the United States, but to Canada.

Fortunately, Canada is quite close to the United States, so it’s even more convenient to travel to the United States from Canada.

Yusuf still went into the bathroom, and Fleur waited for him outside. Just five or six seconds later, when Fleur felt a warm draft by her ear, she smiled and walked forward.

Yusuf could become "Invisible," and by using this ability, he could smuggle himself into any country he wanted without even buying a plane ticket.

"I have food and drink in my bag – I think it’s safer for you to stay in the cargo hold."

"Got it, tough luck for me..." Yusuf’s voice responded near Fleur’s ear.

Soon, they boarded the plane separately – Fleur in first class, Yusuf in the cargo hold; there was no helping it, the cargo hold was unoccupied, and hiding there was much safer.

Meanwhile, as Yusuf and Fleur boarded the plane and started to doze off, Jakarta’s Bay Palm River Estuary was laden with dozens of police cars parked along the shore, while a large number of military and police entered the palm grove.

At daylight, the local morning news was first to report the tragedy that unfolded at the palm groves – sixteen Unidentified armed foreigners had been shot dead, and local media speculated that these sixteen might be mercenaries from some Mercenary Organization.

Two hours after the local media’s reports, news of the event spread across the global internet. Mainland’s CNTV briefly interrupted their morning news with a few seconds of breaking news; media from the UK, Japan, and others also reported the incident promptly. There were various speculations about who these people were, how they died, whether it was an official act by Jakarta authorities, or a case within a case.

However, all this was unknown to Yusuf and Fleur, as they were sound asleep on the plane.

Mia in the hotel woke up early, eagerly waiting for breakfast time to arrive so she could look for Yusuf; she was too tired and sleepy last night to know what her aunt and Yusuf had talked about.

Also, she had suddenly realized she didn’t feel as safe with her aunt as she did with Yusuf, inexplicably convincing herself that Yusuf was the person who could provide her the most security in the world, and she liked being with him too.

"Ross’s mother, will you please call Mr. Zuck and the others for breakfast?" Daisy also got up early; today she planned to leave with Ross’s mother and Mia through special channels and return to Hong Kong.

"Auntie, did Yusuf agree yesterday?" Mia asked, her face tensed with nervousness.

"No, it was your aunt who felt embarrassed!" Daisy glared at Mia, "I asked him to be your personal security consultant with an annual salary of thirty million yuan, but he retorted and said even you offered him a few billion, he wouldn’t agree..."

"Uh..." Mia’s face flushed, and she chuckled, "How could he possibly agree for just tens of millions? You don’t know, in a few days, he made fifty to sixty million just from some unlucky antiques! So if you offer him only thirty million a year, it’s no wonder he didn’t agree!"

"Oh? He made fifty to sixty million in a few days?" Daisy was genuinely astonished; was Mia telling the truth? If so, Yusuf was no simple character!

"Yes, it’s true," Mia confirmed seriously.

"Hehe, do you like him?" Suddenly, Daisy shifted the topic. Whenever Mia talked about Yusuf, she was exceedingly excited, which was very different from Mia’s usual demeanor; after all, Mia used to be unimpressed by any man, believing none were worthy of being her boyfriend.

But now, when Mia spoke of Yusuf, both her expressions and her tone were in a state of high excitement.

This was unprecedented for Mia, and as someone who had experienced much herself, how could Daisy not see what was on Mia’s mind?

"Who’s saying nonsense, not me," Mia’s gaze shifted evasively.

"Heh, my attitude’s the same as your brother-in-law’s, I won’t meddle in your love life. If you think someone’s good, even if he’s a drifter, we won’t stop you. But of course, you have to reassure your sister; you know what she’s thinking. She hopes you find a cultured, educated, talented, and steady man."

"I haven’t even thought about looking for a man, let alone about getting married," Mia said, contradicting her true feelings.

"Dong dong dong~" The knocking on the door came, and Ross’s mother entered in a bit of a panic, "Miss Wilkinson, Miss, Yusuf Zuck and his friend checked out. They checked out last night at midnight and left right away."

"What?" Hearing what Ross’s mother said, Mia stood up at once, and Daisy Wilkinson also raised her eyebrows.

"Phone, Auntie, give me the phone!" Mia ran to the couch to look for her aunt’s phone.

Her aunt took her own cell phone out of her bag and handed it to Mia, "He left without saying goodbye, so he’s probably turned his phone off by now. You won’t be able to reach him!"

"But why would he leave without saying a word? Did you say something to him, did you?" Mia asked, her eyes reddening.

Daisy Wilkinson was taken aback for a moment. It was the first time Mia had ever lost her temper with her.

"No, how could your aunt say anything to him? Your aunt wants you to be happy and well. So yesterday, your aunt truly went to thank him and also invited him!" Daisy Wilkinson wasn’t angry with Mia; instead, she stood up and pulled her into an embrace.

Mia dialed Yusuf Zuck’s number, but he had turned off his phone. She cried in Daisy Wilkinson’s arms, her sobbing intensified.

"There, there, Mia, don’t cry. From my interaction with Yusuf Zuck, I also think he’s a thoughtful young man. He probably has something he needs to handle. Don’t be sad. After all, he’s bound to come back to Mainland, right? So then, your aunt will take you back there to find him for some fun!"

"Yeah, when I get back I’m going to give him a piece of my mind. Leaving without a word, without any notice, that’s no way to do things. When I left before, I even left him a note..." Mia said while wiping her tears.

"Yeah, going to teach him a lesson for bullying my dear Mia," Daisy Wilkinson said with a smile.

"Buzz buzz~" Just then, the phone in Mia’s hand suddenly vibrated, and the caller ID displayed ’brother-in-law’!

"For you!" Mia pouted and handed the phone to Daisy Wilkinson.

Mia knew about Daisy Wilkinson’s relationship with her father. There were four people in their family: her dad, mom, aunt, and herself.

In her memories, from a very early time, her aunt was always by her father’s side. When she was little, she didn’t understand, and her mom just told her that her dad once saved her aunt’s life; they’re a family that would never be separated.

As she grew older, she understood. Her dad didn’t just marry her mom; he also looked after her aunt. Mia found nothing wrong with that. They weren’t some dysfunctional family because it was with her mom’s approval, or rather, her mom’s full support.

Furthermore, it was her aunt who raised her. Over the years, apart from her early childhood, she rarely saw her mom, and she didn’t even know where her mom was now since her mom didn’t have a fixed residence and also traveled all over the world.

Her dad marrying her sister and taking care of her aunt was normal, after all, they were a family that couldn’t be split up!

"Brother-in-law." The call connected, and Daisy Wilkinson said.

"Get Mia ready to go to the airport; the plane is prepared," Marco Tuff ordered on the phone.
