Invisible Security Guard
Chapter 1246 - 1245: The Sea of Mud Forms

Chapter 1246: Chapter 1245: The Sea of Mud Forms

Yusuf Zuck knew that without power in this Heavenly Realm, talk was cheap, and wishes were mere delusions.

He didn’t rush to continue his training; instead, he continued mining.

It was a critical period, and the outside was definitely heavily guarded. If he went out and was accidentally discovered, that would certainly be the end of him.

He also knew how insignificant he currently was; faced with a true Immortal, he had no power to resist.

Perhaps a Lower-level Divine Person, or even an Intermediate Divine Person, had no way to deal with him, but an Advanced Divine Person or a Lower Heavenly God would definitely kill him in a second, even if he had the Universe Stick. He was just too weak.

In a blur, another three months passed by. Every three days, he delivered Spirit Stones on schedule, occasionally sitting with Great Emperor Alden Baxter to shoot the breeze.

Three months later, he stealthily emerged again, and this time, he aimed to break through in one fell swoop to achieve the Mud Sea stage.

Having already familiarized himself with the routes inside the tunnel, his exit this time was smooth sailing. It took less than six hours to reach the outside, coincidentally as night fell and the changing of the guard at the barracks had just been completed.

He made himself invisible, making sure not to emit any aura or energy fluctuations, and sticking to the dark corners against the mountain’s body. Finally, he leaped over the fence and ran swiftly.

He wasn’t escaping but looking for a place far from the barracks to absorb the essence of heaven and earth.

After running about two thousand meters, he released his Telekinesis, preparing to perform Space-Time Travel.

However, just as he took a step, something startling happened—he failed to travel through space and time.

That’s right, he was unable to perform Space-Time Travel or Teleport.

Cold sweat broke out on Yusuf Zuck’s forehead. What was happening? Why couldn’t he Teleport? Was it a problem with himself or an issue with the Heavenly Planar World?

He quickly calmed himself down and tried twice more. His Telekinesis could be released, even pushed to its limit, but still, he could not Teleport.

It wasn’t a personal problem; it had to be an issue with the Heavenly Planar World. The space in this Planar World seemed different from that of other planar worlds, making Space-Time Travel impossible!

"Damn it, if that’s the case, escaping is impossible. Without the ability to perform Space-Time Travel, my speed counts for nothing," Yusuf Zuck lamented. In the past, his speed allowed him to weave between stronger opponents, for none of them were as fast as he was.

But now, without that speed, his strength was reduced. At least the next time he encountered a powerful opponent, he wouldn’t even have the chance to flee.

"At least I can still fly!" he tried to make his body float, hovering in mid-air.

Although he wasn’t even a Lower Divine Person, he could still fly. The right to fly wasn’t stripped from him.

"Let’s go, make haste!" Yusuf Zuck flew swiftly, trying to get as far away from the barracks as possible. Even though he could now silently steal any stealable power with the Eye of Heaven without being noticed, he remained fearful of being discovered by the experts in the barracks.

After flying for over an hour, he reached a desolate wilderness with no one around and then sat down cross-legged. After a few deep breaths, he suddenly opened the Eye of Heaven.

Opening the Eye of Heaven allowed him to see through anything his gaze fell upon, and accompanying his thoughts, it would steal energy!

He looked towards the vastness of space, for there lay Boundary Power, Divine Power, and the power of the Heavenly Dao.

Sure enough, the moment the Eye of Heaven pierced into the void, space violently rippled, and in an instant, countless energies poured down. Various forces merged, entering deep into his soul through his eyes!

"Yes, the concentration of energy within the void of the Heavenly Realm is extremely high and also very pure. With just one glance, it was as if the sky turned into a funnel, filled with worldly energy and Divine Power. The most terrifying part was that Heavenly Power made up about ninety percent of it all.

In this Heavenly Realm, it seemed as though one could get even closer to the Heavenly Dao. Merely after three or four breaths, he felt the energy in the depths of his soul solidify amid continuous tremors, and then, every joint in his body issued a crackling burst. At that moment, he felt himself undergo a qualitative leap.

The Sea of Mud took shape with such ease!

"So pure, the power of the Heavenly Dao!" Yusuf Zuck was unexpectedly delighted. If previously he could not engage in Space-Time Travel, now his delight arrived because the void of the Heavenly Realm was so abundant with energy that in the span of merely three or four breaths, he had managed to achieve the Sea of Mud and ascended to the realm of a Lower-level Divine Person.

He could feel his Cultivation Level surge, a kind of power capable of shaking heaven and earth now bolstering every pore in his body.

It was a very special, also a very different feeling; the power of a Divine Person was completely unlike that of an Immortal.

"No wonder Deities regard the Immortals of the Lower Realm like pigs and dogs. The Divine Persons in the Heavenly Realm are completely different from the Lower Realm’s Immortals, wielding entirely different powers!"

Divine Persons are closer to the Heavenly Dao, or rather, Divine Power is nearer to the Heavenly Power, so they often represent the Heavenly Dao. But they can only represent it; they are not the actual Heavenly Dao!

Being close to the Heavenly Dao is not the same as being the Heavenly Dao!

Of course, precisely because they are close to the Heavenly Dao, it’s normal for Divine Persons to look down on Immortals.

"Phew—" Once the Sea of Mud was formed, Yusuf Zuck stopped absorbing energy and swiftly sensed the miraculous existence of the Sea of Mud.

As stated in the Art of Cultivating God, the Sea of Mud is like a space seed that embraces all rivers, also called a world seed. This seed encompasses everything and can absorb anything, including the power of the Five Elements, yin and yang, and so on.

Because it is a seed that embraces all rivers, once it grows and strengthens, it will become a whole world.

Whatever exists in that world, the more the seed absorbs, the more power you will be able to wield.

For example, if the seed absorbs worldly energy and Star Power, you will be able to unleash those energies.

Of course, what Yusuf Zuck did not know at this point was that his Art of Cultivating God was supremely unparalleled. Even the most orthodox and ultimate techniques from the Eight Great Families of the Heavenly Realm could not match a hundredth of his Art of Cultivating God, which meant that in the divine world, only his Sea of Mud could absorb various forms of energy. Other Divine Persons, including the Clan Leaders of The Eight Great Families, could only absorb Divine Power in their Sea of Mud, unable to absorb Heavenly Power, Star Power or worldly energy!

Perhaps they have other methods to incorporate Heavenly Power, Star Power, or worldly energy into themselves, but within their Sea of Mud, there’s only pure Divine Power.

This was the biggest difference between Yusuf Zuck and other Divine Persons at this stage.

Of course, he also didn’t know about his distinctiveness, as he hadn’t yet been exposed enough to understand all there is about the divine world.

After consolidating his power for a moment and checking himself over again, Yusuf Zuck smiled contentedly. The Art of Cultivating God described that this technique could conceal one’s presence, meaning that even though he had cultivated it, others would not be able to detect it.

The Art of Cultivating God was a feedback from the Purple Blood Beads, thus it was supremely exalted.

Delightedly rejoicing to himself for a while, Yusuf Zuck continued to use the Eye of Heaven to absorb the various forces in the void of the heavenly skies. Having come out this rare time, how could he possibly miss out!

However, when he began once again to incessantly draw upon the powers in the void with the Eye of Heaven, he shockingly discovered that despite the energy pouring down from the sky, after entering his Sea of Mud, not even a ripple was raised.

Why call it a Sea of Mud? Because it is an analogy for a Divine Person’s Sea of Mud being as vast as the ocean or the starry skies, boundless in breadth. So, to fill one’s Sea of Mud, an endless amount of energy would be needed.

This is also one of the key steps in cultivating as a Divine Person: how many people spend their entire lives unable to fill their own Sea of Mud? That’s why they remain forever in the realm of a Lower-level Divine Person!"
