Chapter 98: Ten Men

Royce even raised that case as a topic as he didn’t stop ranting, even after they were done with lectures.

Richy was always on his good side as his best friend, and surely, there were others who wanted to be friends with him as well.

In fact, after hearing about the Dominus thing, it was as if Royce had become a demigod on campus, as many students began to approach him.

Luka didn’t say a word and just continued walking, and you know, this was one of the things that pissed Royce off the most.

Ignoring him felt more like an insult, and the fact that he hadn’t gotten direct revenge on Luka for betraying him made him boil in anger all the more, pushing him to react.

After gathering some certain thoughts, Royce turned to the eleven students that stood in front of him and smiled... It was clear he had a crazy plan.

"Do you all want to join me?!" he asked in a bellow.

"Yes, Royce!"

The group shouted almost in unison, their tone etched with sincerity.

"Well then," Royce gave an evil chuckle and pointed at Luka, who was completely unaware of what they were doing. "Deal with that guy for me!"

Immediately, the students didn’t think twice. They were nine boys and a girl, one that looked like a complete tomboy.

They all charged at Luka at once, and it wasn’t until Luka got hit from the back that he realized he was being attacked.

He turned.

"What the—"

POW!

Before he could even react, he got punched by another hand, and ten figures surrounded him at once.

Royce stood not far from the scene, watching and laughing as he enjoyed every moment.

He even wished they could beat Luka to death, only that would satisfy him.

Just a few moments after, as he continued enjoying the moment, the first thing he saw was one of the guys being blown away, and then a second.

Then came a third.

Four guys had been taken down before Royce could notice who had done this...

And when he did...

"Son of a bitch..."

Luka was almost beaten to a stupor before Jayden arrived, but it was fortunate that things hadn’t gotten really bad.

With a blank look, Jayden gave Luka a hand to stand up, which he quickly did.

Luka was left in shock, as he didn’t expect Jayden to be that powerful and confident to take on ten men... Well, nine men actually, but the tomboy was looking more like a man if not for her moderate melons.

"Stay behind me," Jayden added, and Luka wasted no time.

"What are you waiting for?! Beat them up!!!"

Royce couldn’t bear it anymore, as he commanded the boys to charge at them.

They didn’t hesitate, knowing full well that they had the upper hand because why not?

They were just two...

There’s no way these two could stand against ten, not even when one of them was just a rich, frail kid.

Jayden was actually the threat there, but that didn’t mean they couldn’t take him down.

Five attacked at once, but Jayden was smart enough to respond tactically. The first guy came at his corner, Jayden dodged the punch, went behind him, and twisted his arm.

"Argh!!!"

Jayden was sure he wouldn’t be moving that arm for two weeks. Good thing it was the left arm. He would still be able to write his exams.

The second guy was suddenly taken down from behind as well... Jayden kicked both legs from the back, then delivered a final blow to the back of his head.

The other three had noticed his move and turned toward him quickly, but Jayden was sharp enough to deliver two accurate blows that sent them to the sides.

It wasn’t like these guys knew good combat. They had just been too desperate to make Royce accept them into his so-called Elevation Group, and they were almost dying to do anything.

Just like that, Jayden managed to take them on and finished them off, with no disadvantages other than exhaustion.

Luka didn’t even throw a single punch, as Jayden, somehow, had secured his stance since he was injured.

"Thank you," Luka said with a faint look, but his tone held a sense of sincerity.

Jayden only stared back and nodded, then glanced at Royce, who had suddenly begun to evacuate the scene, not wanting to end up like the others lying on the dirt in pain.

Unbeknownst to him, some students had already been observing the drama, as always. Scenes like this were never overlooked at Sky High University, and Jayden wasn’t surprised.

The best part was that he hadn’t attacked the tomboy girl, and had given her the choice to run away, which everyone admired.

That way, it was a fair fight, and Jayden was seen as a hero. This wasn’t the first time he had saved someone’s ass, and it left a big impression on everyone.

At that point, the students even began to chant his name, suddenly sounding like they were praising a hero who had just saved the world.

Jayden stood there, glancing around, seeing the cameras aimed his way.

Shit, he was going to go viral again — but that was good, right?

At this point, he couldn’t give a clear reaction to this, but he could go with the flow, realizing that he had just completed another task.
