The remaining Overlord Beetles were too fierce, breaking through the sand dust and charging out, their mouthparts gathering energy for a sweep attack. But in the next second, countless Thunderballs and Gravity Balls barraged it.

The fully re-equipped Warhammer team increased their attack power and broke through its Defense Shield in less than twenty seconds, smashing its body to bits, with Rocket shells delivering a grand explosion.

The second wave of attacks ended, and the stench of dead Bugs began to pervade the street, with green viscous liquid splattered everywhere.

"This passive defense isn’t working; we need to execute guerrilla warfare." Pang Meiqin disagreed with the defense and proposed a tactical retreat.

Lu Fan released a Sandstorm that swept over like a Tsunami. The Self-destructive flying bugs crashing into it continued to explode with Thunderous Roar.

This time, the Overlord Beetles did not make their entrance as mini-bosses; instead, two gates spewed out six of them at once. In the next second, six Light beams shot out, slicing through the hotel surroundings, causing the Walls unable to withstand such impact to begin collapsing.

"Everyone out, pack up the vehicles," Tang Zheng roared immediately upon seeing the beams, knowing the Tanks and Beetles would be scrap metal if hit, and the soldiers might not escape either.

Since no Teleportation Gate appeared in the Lobby, Dantai was still prepared to hold the position for a little while longer, but the collapsing hotel offered no such opportunity.

"Qin Yan, lead everyone to retreat," Dantai decided decisively, then pulled out dozens of Bombs and threw them into the corner of the hotel. Had he not been afraid of igniting them unnecessarily, he would have set them earlier.

The other newbies didn’t fare any better, all holding their heads even though it didn’t stop them from being battered by falling debris. The worst off was a soldier with both legs crushed, his flesh a bloody mess.

"Don’t bother with me, you guys go first," the soldier refused help from his combat mate, not wanting to be a burden.

Seeing this, Tang Zheng, with his First Bow half-drawn, took aim at the nearly transparent Lobby rooftop and fired a barrage, blasting the falling rocks into dust.

In the chaos, the newbies managed to retreat, and the Conquerors deployed Light Defense Shields on their bodies to fend off attacks. They didn’t eliminate the Overlord Beetles but were instead buying time.

Li Xinlan erected an Ice Wall in front of the hotel, and with Lu Fan’s sand barrier, it held off the onslaught for a moment. Dantai and Qin Yan, at the end of the line, saw everyone had retreated and immediately detonated the Bombs. The entire hotel collapsed instantly, engulfing the oncoming Bug horde.

Some Bugs, fast enough to evade the explosion radius, narrowly escaped disaster and chased after them, but they were quickly torn apart by the Bombs Qin Yan had laid along the route.

The group retreated down a Main Street. When Dantai and Qin Yan arrived, they saw everyone had boarded the Hummers, eight in total, their engines revving, the noise carrying far into the quiet night.
