Chapter 1035: Chapter 16 Newbie Death

"I’m currently short a waiter and would like to hire you, are you in?" Tang Zheng stood up, yielding the spot, "Of course, I don’t want anyone moving in, for whatever reason, just send them away."

"My clothes?" Anna quickly agreed, sitting down at the front desk, then stood up awkwardly again.

"Strip two sets off those two receptionists over there," Tang Zheng waved his hand, "and be quick about it."

"Be careful this money-grubbing woman might run off to the Police Station to report you?" Pang Meiqin tied up two security guards and walked over to Tang Zheng, pulling open the front desk drawer, glancing inside, only to find some change.

"Keep an eye on them, and if they give off any bad vibes, feel free to act," Tang Zheng was about to leave to call others in when suddenly Pang Meiqin pulled him back, then stood on tiptoe and planted her red lips on his.

The agile tongue pried open Tang Zheng’s teeth and slipped inside, roving about playfully like a mischievous kitten.

Tang Zheng patted Pang Meiqin’s back, signaling her to let go.

"I’m afraid you can’t help yourself and will go for those sleazy women," Pang Meiqin released Tang Zheng and gave him a cold look, "If you really want to try something new, I can catch a decent young lady for you, I need to earn Sin Points anyway."

"What are you talking about? Am I that kind of person?" Tang Zheng frowned, not used to Meiqin’s affectionate gaze.

"Get settled first, then I’ll tell you about what I encountered last round tonight," said Pang Meiqin, pointing at the register and heading upstairs, "I’ve got the Rooftop guests covered."

"Tang Zheng, only two chefs, already under control," Yu Manli came around with Xu Liang Mao from behind, "the others are checking the entire Inn."

"Good, go call the others in."

Since entering the Game, Tang Zheng hadn’t spoken a single word to Li Xin Lan, the neighbor housewife, and the ’old’ in Yin Zhi Jian’s comment had hurt her heart, making her feel unworthy to be with Tang Zheng, thoroughly a hindrance to his happiness.

"Ruan Feifei, change into the uniform and take a seat at the front desk. Manli, take the keys and lead the others to rest on the second floor, keep them from wandering about," Tang Zheng was ready to deal with the guests, he took a few steps and then turned back to give a few more instructions, "And you five, come with me to be enforcers."

The five gangsters, called by name, were thrilled, finally free to do as they pleased.

"Tang Zheng, I was wrong, take me with you," Yin Zhi Jian burst out of the crowd, pleading with Tang Zheng, "I’ll behave well, we are classmates after all, give me a hand."

Having already sold his body, it was clear Yin Zhi Jian wasn’t left with much dignity, blatantly displaying loyalty and flattering Tang Zheng.

"Yes, after all, you are classmates, you have a certain closeness compared to strangers," Song Tong, trying to get close to Tang Zheng, also spoke well of Yin Zhi Jian.

"Alright, come along," Tang Zheng didn’t hold grudges, but to trust Yin Zhi Jian was also not possible; the guy’s swollen face was obviously beaten—how could he not harbor resentment? However, since he was a junior high school classmate, he would give him a chance to reform.

"I knew you were the best; no wonder our pretty class monitor chased after you back then. Speaking of which, do you still keep in touch with her? I have her number, you know, got it from Song Xin. I tried calling once, but sadly, she didn’t acknowledge me," Yin Zhi Jian said excitedly, bringing up past junior high school tales, hoping to mend the relationship; he reached out, intending to pat Tang Zheng’s shoulder but ultimately didn’t dare.

While pretending closeness and putting on a smile, the invisible disparity in status fueled his jealousy.

"Brother, it was all my fault that day, I’m here to apologize," seeing an opportunity, Zhang Heng stepped forward, "I only tried to get close to you because I saw you knew Boss Yu, but I failed to recognize Mount Tai. Please forgive me, forgive me!"

"Hey, brother, aren’t you the young man who went after the Motorcycle gangster alone half a month ago?" Hu Shang, severely beaten up and hospitalized, now faced Tang Zheng with a force smile, apologizing sincerely, for one must bow their head under someone else’s eaves.

"Oh my, it’s all my fault; I was blinded by greed, young man, please don’t hold it against me," the middle-aged woman was frantic, then suddenly struck by an idea, came up with an excuse, "My grandson was hospitalized and I desperately needed money; I truly didn’t do it on purpose."

"It’s alright, if you want to catch up, we’ll do it after settling down. Auntie, I hold no grudges against you; after all, I prefer not to leave my name when doing good deeds. By the way, is your grandson alright now?" Tang Zheng showed his eight teeth with an affable smile; as Group Leader, being cold and ruthless would surely make others fear him, but it definitely wouldn’t earn their loyalty.

"Thanks to your blessing, he’s fine," the middle-aged woman breathed a sigh of relief, "It’s hard to be a good person these days, young man, what you did is rare."

Tang Zheng turned to go upstairs, and the eight men hurried to follow. During the wait, Teng Yuangxiang, seeking to impress and intimidate, had told them about the Seed Ability, so no one dared to provoke.

"Wait, I’m coming too," Teng Yuangxiang definitely wouldn’t miss out on an opportunity to be with Tang Zheng and quickly followed upstairs.

Lin Fachan knew he should be proactive and show his worth, but seeing his girlfriend holding his hand, with her complexion gone pale, he sighed and gave up.

"No need for so many people; it would constrain the formation," An Fei said, his eyes obscured by his black hair, making his expression seem gloomy.

"Without my orders, no random firing," Tang Zheng waved his hand and led the men directly to the third floor; with the Old Soldier absent and no time for a Firearms briefing, they might as well just use the Rifles for intimidation.

"I’ll take over, you rest!" Zhang Heng, adept at reading others’ intentions and skilled at flattery, saw Tang Zheng standing in front of a door and immediately squeezed past, volunteering to knock, "Good evening, sir, the inn has sent you a complimentary dinner."

"Should be just one person!" The registration book listed only one person, and Tang Zheng signaled two gangsters, who understood his intent and positioned themselves beside the door.

A middle-aged man with dark circles under his eyes, looking utterly exhausted, opened the door. Barely managing a yawn and before he could reply, two ferocious thugs burst out, one clamping his mouth shut and the other delivering a punch to the stomach that toppled him, as another stormed into the room to check it.

"Tie him up and later take him to the second floor for centralized custody," Tang Zheng entered, scanned the room for a week, and saw nothing out of the ordinary.

There were two guests on the third floor, but one was out working, so they headed straight for the fourth floor.

Zhang Heng, as usual, deceived the occupants behind the door under the pretense of delivering dinner, only to be met by a black man in a bath towel, clearly with a man and a woman inside.

Both ferocious thugs lunged at the black man in front of the door, looking to take advantage.

"Idiots, focus on the serious business!" Tang Zheng, irritated, landed a kick on one gangster’s thigh, sending him tumbling into the room.

"Police inspection, please cooperate!" Tang Zheng blurted out a lie. The guest who was about to protest paused, then sensed something was off, thinking since when were there policemen with yellow skin in the City of God? Before he could burst into curses, he saw a group of armed men charge in.

"Don’t kill me," the unlucky guy immediately knelt on the bed, hands over his head, while the prostitute rolled under the bed, having experienced a similar ordeal before—had she not reacted quickly, she’d have been riddled like the client before her.

"Tie them up." Zhang Heng took charge, glanced at the clothes scattered messily on the floor, kicked away a pair of high heels, then picked up two purses and handed them to Tang Zheng.

"Let them get dressed." Tang Zheng gestured dismissively. The five gangsters, catching sight of two nude women, nearly went green with lust. They’d never seen foreign women before and were itching to take them right there, which displeased him greatly.

Teng Yuangxiang grabbed the cheap handbag, riffled through it with contempt, and then tossed it aside with disgust.

"Group Leader, aren’t we earning Sin Points? Can we, you know..." a gangster proposed with a sycophantic smile to Tang Zheng.

"Later I’ll give you money to go find hookers on the street," Tang Zheng knew men couldn’t contain their lust, not letting them have their fun was asking for trouble.

A group of lechers whistled and howled in eager anticipation.

"Hurry up, onto the next one." The prospect of reward made the men even more eager; inherently scoundrels to begin with, releasing their vile thoughts, they were unstoppable, raring to cause mayhem.

Two naked men with mouths gagged were tied back-to-back; the gangsters stood by, laughing at the first-time sight of two men together like that.

"Stop gawking and keep going," the gangster leader urged his men, still looting the spoil. Yin Zhijian kicked the bound men, eager to inflict violence.

Zhang Heng went ahead with the usual dinner delivery call, as the men speculated what sort they’d encounter this time, but their amusement was short-lived as the person inside was rather rude.

"Scram, I don’t want it."

Zhang Heng immediately sensed trouble and wanted to shrink back, but Tang Zheng approached, leaving him no room to flee.

"This is our complimentary service, at no charge." Zhang Heng had no choice but to push on.

The room fell silent.

"Can’t even get a door open, get lost." The gangster boss was furious, slamming his arm against Zhang Heng’s ribs - Tang Zheng was the Boss, so that was fine, but what was this piece of shit to order his brothers around?

Zhang Heng was only too glad to step aside.

"Open up, dinner delivery!" The gangster boss banged on the door, while the other thugs also itched for action, planning to storm in and beat them up good.

"Already told you no, can’t you understand?" The door was opened by a black man in a T-shirt, who cursed out loud. He then noticed a group of men in the hallway and instinctively reached for his back.

The gangster boss grabbed his mouth with one hand, while his knee slammed into his gut. Two more gangsters rushed in and then froze.

Six large men were gathered around a table piled high with US dollars, dividing up their loot. Surprised by the intrusion, they snatched up their guns and opened fire.

The two newbie gangsters hadn’t even realized what was happening before they were shot into swiss cheese, falling into a pool of blood.
