I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 416 - Thirteenth Form: Imperial Wrath

The black-haired man could also tell that his master was no match for Chaos.

At best, he could hold on for a while. As long as he could kill Xu Zimo within that time, everything would be resolved.

Seeing the black-haired man charging toward him, these high-level figures from the Celestial Tiger Empire, their True Fates all seemed to be various kinds of tigers, Xu Zimo slowly drew the Shadow Tyrant from his back.

He didn’t know how much of a difference there would be between his current peak Empyrean Meridian Realm and the God Meridian Realm in actual combat.

“Nineteen Forms of Dao-Seeking, Twelfth Form: Void Oblivion.”

Xu Zimo shouted softly, not underestimating his opponent, and slashed down with his blade.

This slash carried an endless storm, and the space around him shattered completely.

Thunderous booms echoed around him.

The aura of extinction surrounded the blade, and boundless blade energy shot out.

As the surrounding space was completely destroyed, Shadow Tyrant collided with the black-haired man's palm.

With a loud bang, Xu Zimo was pushed several steps back, while the black-haired man stood motionless, expression calm.

“Don’t bother with pointless resistance. Though I’m surprised by your cultivation at such a young age,” the black-haired man said indifferently, “there’s still an uncrossable gap between Empyrean Meridian and God Meridian.”

“Is that so?” Xu Zimo chuckled.

As he finished speaking, the aura around him surged stronger and stronger.

A storm of condensed power raged above and around them.

“War God, Eighth Transformation.”

With each transformation, Xu Zimo's aura grew, collapsing all surrounding space.

Step by step, he climbed to a higher plane, suppressing the black-haired man.

Finally, when that last deep voice came from his mouth, almost growled from his throat:

“War God, Ninth Transformation.”

Suddenly, space seemed to freeze. Countless storms of spiritforce gathered toward Xu Zimo.

The spiritforce formed into a translucent armor that wrapped around his body.

This was the first time Xu Zimo had used the full version of the War God’s Nine Transformations.

Ever since he obtained this secret technique from the Nine Li Confederacy, he had rarely used it.

The moment the War God’s Nine Transformations was fully completed, the entire sky trembled.

The black-haired man seemed to see a vision flash before his eyes, a man clad in armor, waging war against heaven and earth, sweeping aside all enemies.

Of course, the vision passed quickly, making him wonder if it was just an illusion.

At that moment, Xu Zimo felt stronger than ever before. With a casual clench of his fist, a huge area of space shattered instantly.

He could feel the armor covering his body.

It gave him defense, attack power, and even continuously restored stamina and healed injuries.

It was basically an all-around enhancement artifact.

Seeing the stunned expression on the black-haired man's face, Xu Zimo slowly raised Shadow Tyrant.

His gaze was deep as he stared at the dark blade.

Lightning, flames, floods, hurricanes, the essence of the sun, and the essence of the moon, several different elements surged across the blade.

Xu Zimo chuckled softly, then slowly raised Shadow Tyrant and pointed the tip at the black-haired man.

His lips moved lightly as he said calmly:

“Nineteen Forms of Dao-Seeking, Thirteenth Form: Imperial Wrath.”

This move, the Imperial Wrath, was a technique he created in his previous life at the peak of his fury.

He had poured all his rage and madness into the technique, that was the meaning behind the move.

All offense, no defense. The best defense was to attack.

Battle intent erupted from Xu Zimo, concentrating at the blade’s tip.

Shadow Tyrant began to tremble.

Behind Xu Zimo, waves of blade energy started to gather.

Those energies eventually took the shape of a monster.

This monster had only one leg and a blood-red body.

Although it had only one leg, its upper body was extremely muscular.

Its muscles bulged, and its arms were thicker than an average person’s head.

On its forehead was a sharp blue horn.

It wore a silver ring on its left ear, had a high nose bridge, and deep-set eyes.

This was the Imperial Wrath condensed by Xu Zimo.

At this moment, the Imperial Wrath merged into Shadow Tyrant as a streak of light under Xu Zimo’s command.

Shadow Tyrant trembled more violently, and the frequency continued to rise.

The blade glowed red, as if on the verge of madness.

At the peak of War God’s Nine Transformations, Xu Zimo raised Shadow Tyrant and charged straight at the black-haired man.

The black-haired man frowned slightly. The hanging-eyed white tiger behind him roared to the sky, then merged with him.

Faint traces of the white tiger’s figure could be seen on his body.

He threw a punch, bringing with it a massive storm, and aimed it at Xu Zimo.

Faint beastly roars echoed from his fist.

Shadow Tyrant collided with the black-haired man's fist.

With a deafening explosion, a shockwave erupted centered around the two.

The rumbling sounds still echoed all around.

The two were pushed apart, both retreating backward.

With each step they took, the space beneath them shattered layer by layer.

Finally, they both stopped. The black-haired man looked at Xu Zimo with a serious expression.

Despite the difference of a whole major realm, they had fought to a draw.

Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at the other battlefield.

Chaos was completely overwhelming the green-robed old man, and didn’t even seem in a rush to kill him.

Instead, it looked like it was toying with him.

...

The black-haired man steadied his mind and looked back at Xu Zimo.

“You really are a bit beyond my expectations,” he said calmly.

“But I doubt you can maintain this state for long.”

“I can keep fighting for days and nights. Want to try?”

Xu Zimo replied with a grin.

As he spoke, he once again swung Shadow Tyrant forward.

Every strike and every slash was deadly.

Xu Zimo didn’t defend himself. His combat style was pure offense, a trade of wounds to kill the enemy.

At first, the black-haired man could still hold his ground.

But as the fight dragged on, Xu Zimo’s speed grew faster, and his strikes sharper.

Finally, in a single moment, the black-haired man failed to dodge in time and was cut in half by Xu Zimo.

He was sliced clean at the waist.

Seeing this scene, the green-robed old man nearby roared in fury, eyes wide with rage.

Chaos, seemingly tired of playing, also brought down a massive slap and smashed the old man deep into the ground.

Though the black-haired man had been cut in two, he wasn’t completely dead.

The power of the God Meridian Realm lay in the fact that even with their heads cut off, they could still come back to life.

However, both of them were now seriously wounded, and fully recovering wouldn’t be easy.
