I Really Am A Villain -
Ch. 412 - Entering The Inheritance Ground
He didn’t even try to hide himself, acting with blatant arrogance.
"Who dares to trespass into Deepsky Valley?" a soldier shouted.
Instantly, the entire valley was in an uproar.
But the soldiers didn’t chase after the Mad Blood Demon. Instead, they formed a perimeter and directly guarded Deepsky Valley.
Clearly, to them, nothing else mattered, only the valley itself was of utmost importance.
Seeing this, Xu Zimo ordered the Mad Blood Demon to charge in.
Surging with sacred power, the Demon’s True Fate emerged behind him, a vast, bloody river.
He smashed his fist downward with a loud “boom.”
A corner of the defensive formation was forcibly broken.
Dozens of soldiers were blasted away.
Spiritforce surged all around, and the Demon’s momentum grew stronger and stronger.
He landed on the ground, the blood river swirling around him. Anyone who came in contact with it was completely corroded.
Every strike he made carried immense power.
Against a thousand defenders, he forcibly tore open a path.
But Xu Zimo knew most of these soldiers were only at the Desolate Meridian Realm.
They could only stall, they couldn’t stop the Demon.
At that moment, sitting cross-legged on a smooth stone inside the valley was a black-haired man.
He had short hair and wore a black headband around his forehead.
His eyes were closed in meditation. The air around him flowed slowly and silently.
The commotion outside didn’t seem to affect him at all.
Even as the Demon charged through the soldiers, he remained motionless, as if unaware.
The Mad Blood Demon, though just a puppet, had a simple mind. He sensed the black-haired man’s power and slowed his pace.
Soldiers rushed from behind and surrounded him.
The black-haired man slowly opened his eyes.
His gaze was calm, neither joyful nor angry.
He waved a hand and said flatly, “Step back. Guard the outside.”
“Yes, Elder,” the soldiers replied in unison and left to patrol again.
The man turned to look at the Demon.
“Who sent you? Tell me, and I’ll give you a whole corpse,” he said.
The Demon said nothing, his aura menacing.
The blood river surged toward the man like a tidal wave.
The man shook his head and sighed.
“There are always ants who won’t accept defeat.”
With a wave of his hand, eight explosive sounds rang out.
All eight of his meridians opened at once, the might of the God Meridian Realm descended like a storm, sweeping across the valley.
His momentum soared, piercing the clouds.
The lush plants around him thrashed violently in the wind.
The stone he sat on cracked bit by bit.
His robe fluttered wildly with no wind, rustling sharply.
His gaze was deep and dark.
He raised a massive hand from the void, and a sonic boom echoed from above.
Another loud explosion followed.
The hand came crashing down with unstoppable force.
The Mad Blood Demon didn’t even have time to resist, he was instantly crushed into the ground like a pile of mud.
“Speak. Who sent you? What’s your purpose?” the man asked coldly.
The puppet didn’t answer, it couldn’t speak.
“Then die,” the man snorted.
He struck again, his palm filled with white spiritual energy.
As it descended toward the Demon, he suddenly frowned and looked to the side.
Behind him was the entrance to a cave.
That was the place he had been guarding.
Now, he saw a black shadow darting quickly into the cave.
It moved so fast, and what shocked him even more was that he hadn’t sensed it at all.
The intruder had completely avoided his detection.
He tried to redirect his palm strike, aiming it at the shadow.
A loud explosion rang out. Rocks and dirt fell from the valley wall.
The mountain wall now bore a deep five-finger imprint, as if it had been split in two.
But the man frowned. That powerful strike hadn’t hit the target.
The shadow had already reached the cave entrance.
Worried, he waved his hand again, and the entire space around him froze.
The plants stopped swaying, the patrolling soldiers stood still.
Their minds still worked, but their bodies were frozen in place.
“Now’s the time,” he muttered.
Seeing the shadow pause, the man revealed his True Fate, a white tiger with fierce eyes and a strong build.
Before Xu Zimo could even observe it clearly, the white tiger charged at him with extreme speed.
It was about to strike him down.
The black-haired man grinned cruelly, he would tear the intruder to pieces.
But then, the frozen figure suddenly moved.
A deafening beast roar echoed.
It wasn’t the white tiger, it came from the shadow.
The man didn’t even see what happened.
His white tiger was struck hard and sent flying in pain.
The shadow took the opportunity and slipped into the cave.
...
The man coughed up blood, staring gloomily at the cave entrance.
After a long while, he snorted and muttered, “So what if he went in? It’s a dead end.”
But he couldn’t help but recall the beast roar that shook his heart.
Even he didn’t know what he had feared in that moment.
Xu Zimo rushed into the cave.
He had hoped to sneak in quietly, take what he needed, and leave.
But he didn’t expect the man’s senses to be that sharp.
A God Meridian Realm expert truly wasn’t ordinary.
Inside the cave, Xu Zimo assessed his surroundings.
The others seemed to fear something, they hadn’t chased him inside.
