I Really Am A Villain
Ch. 413 - Obtaining The Wind-Destroying Pearl

Xu Zimo began to examine his surroundings.

In front of him was an extremely quiet and seemingly endless corridor.

The front of the corridor was shrouded in darkness, making it impossible to see what lay ahead.

A chilling wind blew through the corridor of the cave.

It made his skin crawl.

What was even stranger was that this cold wind was visible to the naked eye, appearing blue-green in color.

Since he was already inside, Xu Zimo naturally decided to go deeper.

He let his spiritual energy flow through his body, staying alert for any danger.

Step by step, he advanced deeper into the cave.

The further he went, the stronger the cold wind grew.

This wind was eerie. It didn’t just affect the skin, it seemed to reach deep into the soul. It was a cold that worked from the inside out.

As Xu Zimo continued walking, he suddenly heard a rustling sound.

He looked around but didn’t see anything strange.

Moving forward, a powerful gust of blue wind surged from deeper within the cave.

His long hair was blown upward, and the wind was so intense that he could barely keep his eyes open.

If he hadn’t been resisting, he might’ve been blown away completely.

As the strong wind gradually calmed, Xu Zimo opened his eyes.

The rustling sound grew louder and clearer in his ears.

He scanned his surroundings and saw countless insects crawling out from the sides of the corridor.

There were all kinds, cockroaches, centipedes, worms, even rats and snakes.

These bugs seemed endless, pouring out nonstop.

Xu Zimo frowned. The bugs weren’t strong individually, but they seemed to be covered in a strange energy.

He drew his blade, Shadow Tyrant, and slashed down.

Countless bugs were sliced into pieces.

But those pieces began to move on their own and reassembled.

Several dismembered bugs merged into a single mutated bug.

This new bug was larger and had stronger attack and defense abilities.

Beyond this one, more and more bugs kept coming out of the walls.

Xu Zimo slashed several more times, and waves of spiritforce burst from Shadow Tyrant.

But it was useless, the bugs that were destroyed only reformed into stronger ones.

He realized these bugs couldn’t be killed.

So he picked up his pace, heading deeper into the cave.

The bugs attacked and tried to block his way, but he cut through them with his blade.

After about ten minutes, Xu Zimo started to feel the pressure.

He had killed so many bugs that the mutated one formed behind him had become extremely powerful.

It shrieked sharply and aggressively devoured other insects nearby.

As Xu Zimo ran, the wind grew stronger, trying to push him back.

Now he understood why the imperial family of the Celestial Tiger Empire couldn’t breach this cave.

A swarm tactic was useless here, you needed a top-tier powerhouse to get through.

Inside the cave, Xu Zimo ran forward against the fierce wind.

Behind him, the massive mutated bug was chasing relentlessly.

They fought on and off, Xu Zimo avoided killing it, as that would only make it stronger upon rebirth.

After about half an hour of this chase, Xu Zimo finally slowed his pace.

The fog ahead cleared, and a corridor exit came into view.

Seeing this, the mutated bug shrieked even louder, more frantic than ever.

It suddenly accelerated, catching up to Xu Zimo.

Clearly, it was trying to take him down with it.

It didn’t defend at all and launched a wild, all-out attack.

Xu Zimo snorted coldly and slashed with Shadow Tyrant, unleashing blood-colored light.

“Heaven Blood,” he chanted.

As the words left his mouth, waves of blood-colored light spread from Shadow Tyrant’s blade.

The red glow lit up the cave ceiling in a deep crimson.

Blood pooled into a raging river above, with Shadow Tyrant at its center.

Xu Zimo raised the blade high, then brought it down.

Booming echoed overhead.

All the blood-colored energy converged into a single point at Shadow Tyrant’s tip.

As he slashed, the space around him shattered. Time itself twisted and distorted in the corridor.

Seeing this, the mutated bug didn’t dodge, it chose to self-destruct.

Its skin turned crimson, its face twisted.

Its belly pulsed violently, as if something terrifying was growing inside.

“Not afraid of dying, huh?” Xu Zimo muttered, annoyed.

He quickly withdrew Shadow Tyrant and leaped backward.

With a loud explosion, a shockwave spread out from the bug’s center.

Xu Zimo was caught in the blast, taking a hit to the back.

The cave beneath his feet trembled.

Debris rained from the ceiling.

He was blown away, crashing into another corridor entrance.

Xu Zimo wasn’t too worried about the injury, his Tree of Life healed him instantly.

His inner True Fate World functioned as normal.

Everything was fine, except for one strange thing.

The purple flower he had brought from outside was now absorbing energy from the God World.

Originally, it had only four petals.

Now it had six, each covered in mist.

It seemed to be nurturing something.

Xu Zimo found this interesting, but chose not to interfere.

He figured it was best to let the flower develop on its own. Inside his True Fate World, there wasn’t much it could threaten.

...

Stepping out of the cave, Xu Zimo looked around.

After exiting the corridor, the space opened up.

He stood in a large hall, hundreds of meters tall and incredibly vast.

Upon entering, he noticed a difference.

The blue wind in the corridor had been icy cold.

But here, the wind had turned red.

The red wind was warm, almost scorching.

He felt its heat as he continued to observe the area.

All around the hall, on the walls and the ceiling, were luminous stones.

These glowed brightly in the dark.

There were ten pillars inside the hall.

Five were blue, five were red.

They circled around the hall, forming a ring.

At the center of these ten pillars was a raised platform.
