I Really Am A Villain -
Ch. 356 - Ten Immortals Descend
In the Blood-Devouring Evil Race, the true ruler behind the scenes was not the so-called Four Ancient Ancestors.
Of course, the world only knew about the Four Ancient Ancestors. Very few knew of the true master behind them, the Evil God, and his Nine Evil Generals who rarely appeared.
Each of the Nine Evil Generals possessed power equal to the Ancient Ancestors.
Especially the Evil God himself, his power was like his existence: completely shrouded in mystery.
……
At this moment, upon hearing Xu Zimo’s words, the Evil God paused, then calmly said, “It seems you know quite a bit.”
“Would I have dared come to your Buddha Burial Temple without preparation?” Xu Zimo smiled. “This place is called a forbidden ground even if a Grand Emperor were still alive.”
“Then let me see your preparation,” the Evil God replied calmly.
One of the Nine Evil Generals seated below, the Secret Warrior of the ‘Soldier’ Secret, raised a massive hand and struck at Xu Zimo.
These Nine Evil Generals cultivated the legendary Nine Secrets:
Lin, Bing, Dou, Zhe, Jie, Shu, Zu, Qian, Xing.
Each secret represented the limit of a level of self.
As the general’s hand fell, endless sharp energy spread in all directions.
A deafening explosion shook the entire hall.
Xu Zimo stood still, unmoving. A pair of giant hands extended from the void and blocked the strike for him.
The person in the void never showed themselves, after blocking the blow, they disappeared without another move.
“Interesting,” the Evil God sneered.
The dark mist in the hall began to dissipate.
Only now did Xu Zimo clearly see the figures before him.
The Nine Evil Generals didn’t look much different from each other, all were cloaked in wide black robes, resembling the monsters from the outside.
But the Evil God himself looked more human.
He was a pale-faced young man in a white feathered robe, giving him a sickly appearance.
If he didn’t open his mouth to reveal two sharp fangs, he looked no different from an ordinary person.
“Tell me why you’re here,” the Evil God said coldly.
He leaned lazily on his throne, staring at Xu Zimo like a man judging the soon-to-die.
“To kill all of you and take what I want,” Xu Zimo replied with a slight laugh.
“Big words,” the Evil God licked his lips, the two fangs flashing coldly in the dark.
At Xu Zimo’s words, the Nine Evil Generals released terrifying pressure.
Nine different beams of immortal light burst from their bodies, jointly pressing toward Xu Zimo.
“Before battle begins, shouldn’t you eliminate unnecessary variables first?” Xu Zimo said with a smirk.
The Evil God’s eyes narrowed. With a wave of his hand, several streams of dark energy shot into the surroundings.
With cracking and shattering sounds, mirrors suspended in the air within the main halls of many imperial lineages across the Middle Continent and the four other continents shattered.
“They’re cautious, I’ll give them that,” a deep voice muttered.
“At least we now know that place is far stronger than we imagined.”
“A forbidden ground is still a forbidden ground. But who is that young man?”
“Send people to investigate and monitor all activity at Buddha Burial Temple closely. It’s not something we can confront yet.”
……
As the mirrors shattered, the Evil God coldly snorted.
“A bunch of little rats!”
“I heard your race was once exiled,” Xu Zimo said with a smile. “A race that should’ve been wiped from existence long ago.”
“Who in this world is born above others?” the Evil God said calmly.
“Even if our existence causes more deaths, it’s survival of the fittest. Those who die simply don’t deserve to live.”
Xu Zimo shook his head and smiled.
“And you do?”
Looking at the Nine Evil Generals’ soaring power, Xu Zimo raised his hand.
Endless space unfolded beneath his feet, and a teleportation array appeared beside him.
From the other side of the array, overwhelming immortal pressure surged.
One by one, figures stepped out through the formation.
Each figure carried immense aura and immortal power, like divine beings descending, distorting the space around them.
Five Immortal cultivators from the Divine Gate.
Three Immortal cultivators from the Dark Primordial Race.
One from Heaven Ascension Holy Mountain.
One from the Fan Clan of the Middle Continent.
Ten Immortal Path cultivators total, traveling through the void via the formation, descended into the hall.
As the Ten Immortals arrived, a towering figure shrouded in demonic energy also stepped out from the void, Paimon.
“Greetings, my Lord!” he shouted respectfully.
The Ten Immortals behind him also shouted together.
Xu Zimo turned his head and looked at the pale-faced Evil God.
Calmly, he said, “I know your Blood-Devouring Evil Race is strong. To return from exile, it couldn’t have been easy. But this world has too many strong beings. Even Grand Emperors must head toward the outer heavens eventually.”
“What do you want?” the Evil God asked flatly.
“There’s no grudge between us. If what you want isn’t too much, I can give it to you.”
“Smart people know how to adapt,” Xu Zimo smiled.
“I want the Nine-Revolutions God-Tower Physique and the Heavenly Dao Crystal.”
“That’s impossible. You should know that,” the Evil God shook his head. “You might understand their value, but I understand it better.”
“Then there’s nothing left to say. Just like you said: survival of the fittest,” Xu Zimo said, waving his hand.
“Kill them all.”
At his command, immortal power soared into the sky behind him.
The Ten Immortal Path cultivators took to the air and charged forward.
Paimon also stepped slowly toward the Evil God.
Feeling Paimon’s powerful aura and Dao energy filling the surroundings, the Evil God said coldly, “I’ve met someone like you before, many years ago.”
Paimon narrowed his eyes.
“Grand Emperor Xue Ming,” the Evil God continued. “Back then, he came to the Buddha Burial Temple thinking he could take something from us. He ended up trapped for seven days before escaping.”
“Grand Emperors are just ants,” Paimon said coldly.
A Grand Emperor only opens the nine meridian gates.
For someone like him, who had lived across an entire era, he had seen countless stronger beings.
“Let’s hope you don’t end up like him,” the Evil God snorted.
At that moment, endless evil energy gathered in the sky, clashing wildly with Paimon’s demonic energy.
The Evil God’s body expanded dozens of times in size, bursting through the temple’s ceiling.
His figure tore through the layers of darkness, looming over everyone present.
