I Really Am A Villain -
Ch. 357 - Tenth Meridian Gate
As the Evil God’s massive body loomed over everyone, his claw came crashing down.
With a loud boom, the entire hall collapsed.
Only when the hall fell did Xu Zimo clearly see the location of the Blood-Devouring Evil Race.
It was a space completely shrouded in darkness, without a single trace of light.
Dark, desolate, lonely, cold.
Those were the only words Xu Zimo could think of to describe this place.
Creatures living here were doomed to eternal suffering in darkness, until the moment they died.
“So this is the Land of Exile?” Xu Zimo looked around.
The Blood-Devouring Evil Race’s true base was not within the Ancient Realm.
The Ancient Realm was merely a prison for raising their food; they controlled it from the outside.
But ironically, they themselves also existed within another cage, the Land of Exile.
They were just caged birds too.
……
“As you can see, there’s no life, no light, no spiritforce here. Races cast into exile can only die alone in cold darkness,” the Evil God said calmly. “We have suffered here for generations.”
Hearing this, Paimon frowned slightly.
In this realm, he couldn’t feel any trace of Dao energy.
It was as if his path had been blocked by something.
“Don’t bother trying. The Land of Exile is a place abandoned by the Heavenly Dao,” the Evil God sneered. “Even a Grand Emperor can’t sense Dao here.”
Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes and said, “So this is how you were able to stand against Grand Emperor Xue Ming.”
What made a Grand Emperor powerful was the difference in their Dao.
If Dao couldn’t be used, then a Grand Emperor was no different from a regular immortal cultivator.
The Land of Exile erased that difference.
“I admit your forces are stronger than I expected,” the Evil God said calmly. “But as long as we remain here, what can you do to us? Once the Blood-Devouring Evil Race regains its strength and escapes the Land of Exile, we’ll flood the world with blood and vengeance.”
Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes and looked at Paimon.
“My lord, I’ll handle him,” Paimon said quickly.
Dark demonic energy surged from him, engulfing the entire space.
It merged into the black void around them.
Countless hideous faces howled in the darkness.
Seeing this, the Evil God snorted and said with surprise, “So you’re no saint yourself.”
The Evil God’s body was hundreds of meters tall, like a monstrous beast.
As he grew larger, his skin clung tightly to his bones, making him resemble a massive corpse.
His claws were dozens of meters long, and the fangs in his mouth looked sharp enough to pierce anything.
Paimon waved his right hand, and those countless demonic faces roared and rushed down.
They tore through the void, devouring demonic energy like falling meteors, like the end of the world.
The Evil God was not to be outdone. He opened his massive mouth and roared at the sky.
Dark energy surged from him, and a grayish membrane of light covered his body, blocking the attacking faces.
Then he swiped with his massive claw toward Paimon.
Paimon coldly snorted and punched back, demonic energy blasting through the void.
At that moment, it wasn’t just Paimon and the Evil God fighting.
The Nine Evil Generals were clashing with the Ten Immortal cultivators Xu Zimo had brought.
Some fought one-on-one, some were locked in chaotic group battles.
The entire realm was collapsing and rebuilding over and over again.
Thunderous booms echoed endlessly.
The battle seemed to shake the heavens.
Spatial turbulence surged, and violent winds crashed like tidal waves.
Fortunately, this was the Land of Exile, so large-scale destruction was limited.
……
Xu Zimo slowly walked to the throne at the center and crushed it beneath his foot.
Then he narrowed his eyes and stood silently in thought.
“You won’t win against me here,” the Evil God shouted at Paimon.
“Why don’t we stop? This fight is pointless.”
“Ants can only act like ants and view the world like ants,” Paimon said calmly.
He took a deep breath, and suddenly a unique aura burst from his body.
It was like a waterfall crashing down from the heavens, unstoppable and absolute.
It’s known that the human body has twelve meridian gates.
To open all twelve is to transcend the limits of any species, gaining unimaginable lifespan and potential.
Some say it leads straight to the other side of the heavens.
This is legend, people have heard it, but no one has ever truly seen it.
Grand Emperors are the peak of this world.
But whether it’s entering the Path of Dao or becoming immortal, they have only opened nine meridian gates.
Springwheel, Deepbone, Dawnwind, Vastsea, Bloodveil, Duskpine, Voidverge, Shadowbearer, Voidrend.
These are the names of the first nine meridian gates. But few in the Primordial Heartlands know about the tenth.
“Primecircle!”
At the moment Paimon forcibly opened the tenth meridian gate, wind and thunder erupted, the sky trembled.
Endless spiritforce tore through the void barrier and gathered in the Land of Exile.
A dazzling golden light flashed across all realms.
Within the light, an unimaginable terror seemed to be contained.
The Evil God knew, this was a moment he would never forget for the rest of his life.
The golden light shot up into the sky, echoing across the heavens.
It made all of existence seem like fleeting dust in the tide of time.
Before the Evil God could even react, an overwhelming force crashed down from above.
His vision blurred.
When it cleared, he realized he was now hovering above the Ancient Realm.
The surrounding space had been completely sealed, making escape impossible.
Not only him, even his Nine Evil Generals were all suppressed.
He looked at the man before him.
Paimon, dressed in a blood-red robe, stood tall in the wind, respectfully facing Xu Zimo.
The Evil God looked at Paimon, this man had opened the tenth meridian gate.
His body trembled slightly. There was fear, and also awe.
This was a realm he had longed for all his life but could never reach.
A being beyond even a Grand Emperor.
A true ancient overlord.
Now this man stood before him, calm and ordinary.
As if this level of strength was nothing to him.
He looked again at Xu Zimo, unable to understand why a being of that level would follow Xu Zimo’s lead.
