I Really Am A Villain -
Ch. 355 - Do You Want To Die?
"They have three Immortal Path cultivators. What do we do?" Liu Zongfang looked at the Luminous Master and asked.
The Luminous Master turned to the crowd and said, "We’ll hold off two of them. The remaining one, can you all join forces to take him down?"
"You go," Xu Zimo said to Death God Qin.
Death God Qin nodded slightly without objecting.
A vast immortal aura erupted from his body, drawing astonished looks from everyone.
Without hesitation, he charged straight at the evil ancestor named Ghost Feather.
The three evil ancestors and the three Immortal cultivators clashed, shaking the entire sky.
The weather changed violently, the void shattered endlessly.
An overwhelming aura spread through the world.
It felt as if half the sky was about to collapse.
Watching the battle in the sky, many people were filled with fear.
"What do we do now?" someone asked.
"We can’t just sit here, we need to find the their lair," Xu Zimo said.
"How do we find it?" someone asked doubtfully.
Xu Zimo raised his head and pointed toward the sky at the Path to the Heavens.
That path was filled with dark energy, deep and boundless.
It gave off a terrifying feeling, like a storm of dread before destruction.
"Maybe we should just leave it," someone hesitated.
"What if there are more Immortal path cultivators inside?"
"It’s not a ‘what if’, there absolutely are," Xu Zimo shook his head. "This place was never meant for people like you to enter."
"You don’t look that strong either," someone replied defiantly.
Xu Zimo turned back and gave him a cold look.
"Courting death today, are we?" he asked calmly.
That person shrank back, feeling the intense killing intent from Xu Zimo, and chose to shut up.
The battle in the sky continued. It was difficult for the six combatants to determine a winner in a short time.
At that moment, a loud rumbling came from the distance.
Everyone turned to see monsters flooding in from all directions.
These monsters were just like the skeletal beasts Xu Zimo had seen in the Silent Extinction Ridge.
Vampire-like fangs, sharp claws, and frightening speed.
Thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of these monsters rushed in.
Like an iron wall, they completely surrounded the crowd.
"Are these the Blood-Devouring Evil Race?" someone said, face changing.
"What now? There are so many of them. Even if they stood still and let us kill them, it would take forever."
Xu Zimo raised his head slightly and shouted toward the sky, "Luminous Master, if you have a trump card, use it now! Otherwise, we’re all going to die here!"
After that, he looked at the others and said, "If you don’t want to die, start shouting with me."
Without hesitation, everyone began calling out for help.
Someone sighed, "I never should’ve come to this Buddha Burial Temple."
"Scared already?" Xu Zimo laughed. "The real terror hasn’t even shown up yet."
Hearing the crowd’s cries, the Luminous Master didn’t hesitate.
As the monsters surged in like a tide, threatening to tear everyone apart, he punched Hidden Shadow away and quickly retreated a few steps.
With a cold snort, he pulled a Buddhist lamp from his storage ring.
The lamp was triangular, engraved with three seals.
There was only a layer of lamp oil left inside, with a small flame still flickering weakly.
He placed the lamp into the air, letting it float.
Spiritforce surged around him, and with a wave of his hand, a sea of fire poured down from the lamp.
The flames formed a circle, surrounding the crowd, then began to spread outward.
These flames were strange and burned with immense life force.
Even a small spark carried the might of a wildfire.
Any monster touched by the fire screamed in agony.
No matter how they struggled, they couldn’t extinguish the flames.
It was as if their bodies were the perfect fuel for the fire.
The golden flames spread faster and faster, blanketing the entire sky.
Although the monsters were numerous, they quickly broke apart in chaos.
Crackling sounds echoed in all directions.
All the burning monsters were reduced to puddles of pus.
Seeing his kin die in agony, Hidden Shadow, their Ancient Ancestor, roared in fury.
His true form appeared, a terrifying monster with nine heads.
Each head possessed a different elemental attribute.
With a thunderous roar, it charged at the Luminous Master.
"This fire was left behind by Ancestor Heavenless," the Luminous Master said calmly.
"It holds the will of all beings and is meant to counter your Blood-Devouring Evil Race."
The two clashed again.
Seeing most of the monsters perish in the flames and only a few escaping,
everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"This place is too dangerous. I want to leave," someone nearby shouted, face pale.
"The entire Ancient Realm is sealed, no one can get out."
"Then what do we do? We can’t just sit here and wait to die. If we go directly to the Blood-Devouring Evil Race’s base, isn’t that suicide?"
As everyone argued, Xu Zimo shook his head with a smile.
Ants should know their place.
The Blood-Devouring Evil Race wasn’t especially large. The sacred fire had just wiped out most of their members.
Their leaders were likely still fuming in rage.
Xu Zimo rose into the air and flew toward the Path to the Heavens.
Everyone stared at his back in shock.
"Is he insane? He’s really going?"
"Should we follow?"
"If you want to die, go ahead."
……
Entering the Path to the Heavens, Xu Zimo encountered no resistance.
The surrounding void fluctuated irregularly, and the path was filled with teleportation arrays.
Xu Zimo walked in the air and stepped into the deepest teleportation array.
As his body shifted briefly through space,
ripples spread out in front of him like water disturbed on a lake.
His body emerged from the void, and his vision opened up.
As soon as he appeared, applause echoed around him.
He stood in a dark and silent great hall.
At the front of the hall was a throne.
Below the throne stood nine figures.
The person on the throne was hidden in the shadows, only a faint outline could be seen. The face was completely obscured.
"You really are bold," someone said.
"To come alone to the heart of our Blood-Devouring Evil Race."
Looking at the figures at the top, Xu Zimo chuckled.
"The Evil God and his Nine Evil Generals, huh?"
