Chapter 72: Chapter 72 - Completing the Orders

The shot rang throughout the entire neighborhood. No one could have missed it, and within a few minutes, the police were bound to arrive in the area, which was why it was crucial to end this quickly so they could flee as hard as humanly possible from this place.

However, there was a slight problem.

The bullet that had been aimed directly at one of Lucius’s legs had bounced off. It had only managed to pierce through his pants. However, that was the end of it. It hadn’t done anything else.

All of the thugs had their eyes widen.

It was one thing for their weapons to break upon impact. But for a bullet to bounce off his body? All of them began thinking that under his clothes and skin, there was a thick layer of metal covering his body. It was the only ’logical’ explanation for this whole thing.

The thug pulled the gun back into his pants as he ran as fast as possible out of the alley. There was no way they would try to fight against this man. He was not remotely normal; that 50 million bounty wasn’t even nearly enough.

Axel, who was in his room, patiently waiting for some news on his bounty, had no choice but to lose his mind as there was finally a message under his post on the dark web.

[Anonymous: This is a scam. 50 Million isn’t nearly enough to deal with this monster. Bullets can’t even make him bleed! I ask everyone to not take this job, it is way too risky, and you could die if that man ever so wished it!]

The anonymous person was obviously the tattooed individual who had just run away as fast as possible. After seeing what Lucius was capable of, he had decided to warn everyone against acting rashly since things could end really badly.

Axel, who read this at his desk, slammed his fist onto the table. "Bullets can’t hurt him! What the fuck is this bullshit!"

He didn’t give a shit anymore; he clicked on his bounty and decided to double it, making it 100 million. He didn’t want anyone to stop hunting that son of a bitch who had decided to fuck his daughter and record it.

[100 Million. Bring him back to me alive. Forget his store. I want him.]

Axel, under his account on the dark web, posted this, making yet another wave throughout the world.

In the meantime, Lucius entered the store again as he cracked his knuckles, both Lilith and Aphrodite in front of the door, worried out of their minds.

"What happened? We heard a big bang! We thought something might have happened to you."

Lucius just shook his head as he continued walking forward. "Just a little prank, nothing to be worried about."

Lucius then walked toward the production room, unable to help but wear a big smirk on his face. After all, he had just learned that bullets couldn’t hurt him, nor could weapons. He was basically immune to everything on Earth. He could no longer be killed by normal humans from his world.

Which meant that he could do anything he desired, and no one would ever be able to do anything against him.

He could become the King of the World, and all of the governments would just have to listen like good little puppets.

However, Lucius was starting to lose interest in his world now that he had tasted the Multiverse. He wanted to start conquering not only his world but the Multiverse as a whole. There were bound to be a lot more fun this way since the Multiverse was filled with unknowns and even more threats!

And whatever they would be throwing at him, Lucius would be ready.

"Are you done with the orders?" Lucius asked the six people now working on filling up the orders.

They seemed to have completed the number of Erotic Perfumes, as they were now all making Invisibility Potions.

Things were going smoothly, and there was no one that could disrupt them anymore. Soon enough, Lucius would have enough money for the security upgrade, and he would be able to leave to go and get Alicia back from her family, even if it might require force.

A couple of hours passed by once again, and they were finally done!

All of them were nicely wrapped inside their packages, as it was now time to deliver them to the Multiverse and everyone who had ordered those items.

And the question that Lucius now asked himself was how he could deliver those things.

He hadn’t thought that far ahead...

He asked Aphrodite and Lilith, who just laughed at him as they pointed toward the strange machine next to him. It was quite large and resembled one of those teleporters that one would see in movies. It could handle a large number of items, which was perfect for the job required. And Aphrodite even said that the machine was able to determine which item would go to which customer.

All Lucius had to do was drop them in the machine, and the money would be rolling in, and that’s exactly what he did as he pushed everything that had been crafted in the past hours, as dozens, if not hundreds, of notifications from the system came rolling in.

There were so many that Lucius could no longer count. However, what he could see was the amount of Universal Gold Coins increasing. The number kept going up and up without ever stopping.

Lucius could hardly believe his eyes as the number increased, finally reaching a number he had never believed he would be able to cross: one million Universal Gold Coins.

He could hardly believe it. All of the investments he had recently made were paid right away. This was great!
