Chapter 67: Chapter 67 - Selling Spree

A few minutes after Emy entered the store and posted her story to alert all of her fans about where she was, hundreds of people suddenly headed toward the store.

It was a sensation across the entire city. Everyone was rushing toward the small alley in the middle of nowhere to see their favorite star. Quickly enough, the first few arrived completely out of breath, a little overexcited about the whole thing.

"W-Where is she?"

Lucius got notice that a Rank 1 customer had entered the store. And let’s just say that it was one of many.

"O-Oh my god! She’s really here!" The two who had arrived practically screamed as they started jumping with excitement.

Emy just smiled at them as she took a few pictures with them while they began asking questions about the store.

"Why are you here? Do you usually shop here?"

They were curious why she would come to a place so far from anything trendy. They had never even heard of this place, so they started looking around as they saw the multiple bottles on the shelves.

"Actually, those products are something that my family was interested in, but there were some problems, so the deal fell through. However, all those products are amazing! Go check them out!"

And it began; the bell sound echoed once more throughout the store as a new wave of fans entered.

Soon enough, the store was full, and there was a queue outside of the store that filled the entire alley. Everyone wanted their picture.

"Those are clearly scams!"

Then it began; they shouted that the Love Potion, Erotic Potion, and Invisibility Potion were all scams to get money out of them.

"I can’t believe that she would scam her own fans over some crappy overpriced products!"

Lucius only smirked as it was now time for him to enter the fray, holding a small plate with his three products on it.

"Scams?" Lucius smirked as he approached them from behind. "Care to make a bet?"

One of the fans shrugged. "Sure... those things clearly don’t work. As if some potion could make somebody else fall in love with them. We’re living in the real world, not some fantasy of yours!"

"Then, I bet that I can make you fall in love with your friend. Drink this and look into his eyes." Lucius smiled. "Though I have to mention that the effect cannot be altered."

He took the Love Potion from the platter and told her to drink a few drops of it. After all, he would only be using this Love Potion to show everyone that his products truly worked.

The girl grabbed the potion and drank a few drops, and the look in her eyes suddenly changed as she looked at the childhood friend before her.

She immediately got more touchy, getting closer to him, even going as far as to smell him.

Her childhood friend was shocked by the change in her behavior, as he wasn’t even sure what to do about this.

"Laura, you can stop acting now..."

However, Laura was not acting whatsoever. She was genuinely reacting to the effects of the potion.

When they noticed that she wasn’t stopping, the two friends turned toward Lucius with frowns on their faces.

"Cancel this right now!" they both frowned.

However, Lucius shook his head. He had already told them that it was not possible.

Those watching from far away realized that the products actually worked. At least, the Love Potion did, and that’s when a lot of people went crazy, grabbing them from the shelves.

Everyone had crushes in their lives; with this, they would be sure that their crush would fall in love with them!

The girls and boys all went wild when they saw it worked.

Lucius smirked as those people didn’t even care about the prices; they just bought them like madmen.

He could see his amount of universal gold coins going up and up without any signs of stopping.

But then, a notice appeared.

[You have sold all Love Potions in your inventory.]

[You have sold over 100 Love Potions.]

[You have made 10,000 Universal Gold Coins.]

Lucius smirked as he knew the rest of his items cost a lot more than that.

However, he had only made 10% of the total amount. There was still a lot of work to be done as Lucius immediately went to his back store and told everyone to start making Love Potions again.

Then, a similar situation to before happened as people began looking at the effects of the Erotic Perfume.

"That’s clearly fake! The other one worked! But this one is clearly a scam!"

Lucius, with his usual smile, approached them as he handed them the perfume.

"Try it. The effect is instant. However, be careful; the effects last for more than 24 hours."

The guy who had come with two girlfriends put on the perfume naively, thinking that it would never work; however, the effect was instant.

The two friends immediately turned their heads toward him as they began saying all kinds of outrageous things.

"Please marry me, Alex!"

"No! Marry me!"

They had lost their minds almost instantly. The lower the customer rank, the higher the efficiency of the products.

"See? I told you that it worked."

"W-Wait, let me get rid of it!"

"Lasts for one day. I warned you."

The guy acted like he hated the situation, but he actually kind of liked it. Having two girls throwing themselves at you was quite the sensation.

"Now, please move along. I think some people are interested in buying one."

"I-I’ll buy one!" the man finally said as both of his friends began rubbing their bodies against him, hugging him as he felt their breasts squeezing against him.

Lucius smirked as he placed it before him.

"50,000$"

The man’s eyes widened. However, he quickly pulled out his card and paid.

He looked at the two girls in his arms and thought it was a fair price for it.

Then, more and more people suddenly began approaching him.
